Do you use the snooze button? I did but at some point I got tired of the alarm and eventually just started turning it off and going back to sleep. I get an extra half hour to an hour and I can usually still make it to classes on time. I did sleep through a class twice though. Long ago I used to set the alarm clock accross the room to prevent any of this, but after a while I started crawling back to bed so I stopped that.

I'm a big snooze-buttoner. Hit the snooze button several times, depending on the level of tiredness.

During college I tried the "put the alarm across the room thing" I was on the top bunk of the beds, but it failed miserably as I'd jump out of bed, hit the snooze button and climb back into bed for another 7 minutes before repeating the every-9-minute-cycle...

...Oh? THAT's what a Snooze Button does? I've never really had an Alarm Clock, so I was always like "...FTW?"

I suppose if I had one, I would be a major Snooze button abuser, though. ^_^;;

I'm all over that thing every morning. Two times at minimium. Those are nice 9 minute bursts of sleep too. :)

I don't even set my alarm. I'll sleep as long as I damn well please.

Someone can knock on my door if they want me to wake up that badly.

I don't use the snooze button, mainly for the fact that I know I'll just abuse it constantly.

Good thing my last Alarm Clock broke, and I never really bothered to replace it.

No need for it, hell, no need for an alarm even. I just calculate the certain amount of time it'll take to wake up at a time in the morning. And then go to sleep. Body just wakes up. If I feel weak, to avoid falling back to sleep, I'll throw myself harshly out of bed. In a flip or roll. Lucky I'm surounded by carpet, all the ricocheting of my head and body off things would become lethal otherwise.

I really should use the stupid thing, but I have a habit of using the "off" button before anything. I also have a sort of problem once in a while with turning it off, going back to sleep, and in turn I wake up late for school. Oh how I hate that.

For the question: I don't often use an alarm either. I wake up several times without it. . .

I can make myself get up at a certain time too, as long as it's after 9:00am

Mom's don't have a snoose button. Her yelling about me being late wakes me up faster than any clock.

I don't need the snooze button. I never used it, never will.

I end up naturally waking about 15 minutes before my alarm is set to go off anyway. It's just something I have trained myself to do through work, college, etc.

So I don't need to try and snooze button myself awake, because I naturally wake up before I need to and get to sleep a little more before the alarm goes off.

No, I only figured out how to use it a year ago. <---stupidity

Instead, I set up five different alarm clocks right next to each other. They go off at different times. Kind of like a snooze button.

I don't usually; only when I'm extremely tired. I usually force myself to wake up on school days. I may lay in bed for a few minutes, but I'll get up after a few minutes. Though the last time I used the snooze button, well, those were some wonderful 9 minutes of sleep.

Just about every day.

I have this weird need to set my alarm for 6am, but I don't need to get up until about 6:30. Two or three taps on that snooze button do the trick. The fact that I wake up pretty slow is probably due to years of snooze button abuse.

The worst thing, though, is the fact that I have a phone right next to my alarm, and on weekends if anyone calls before I wake up, I immediately sit bolt upright like it's some emergency. I then mumble a few choice words and ignore the call anyway.

Nah...I get up fine on weekdays. And on weekends, I only set alarms so I don't miss my Saturday morning cartoons (i.e. One Piece and YuGiOh), so to hit the snooze would be pointless.

I don't need the snooze button. I never used it, never will.

I end up naturally waking about 15 minutes before my alarm is set to go off anyway. It's just something I have trained myself to do through work, college, etc.

So I don't need to try and snooze button myself awake, because I naturally wake up before I need to and get to sleep a little more before the alarm goes off.I would do the exact same thing, except once I "see" what time it is I found I couldn't go back to sleep and begrudgingly get up anyway. Additionally, I'm a very light sleeper, and when it did go off, being suddengly jolted awake is not what I would call fun.

So, about a year and a half ago I stopped setting my alarm. Since then I have woke on my own between 7:20-7:40 every...single...day, even on weekends.

On the other hand, I wake up during the night a least once (time varies) to go to the bathroom (I drink a lot of water). When I'm up I must avoid looking at the three clocks I pass to and from the bathroom to maintain the "timeless" illusion. Otherwise I'll subconciously calculate how much sleep time I have left, and when I get back into bed my mind won't stop racing about how I have to be at work in less than X hours...making it that much more difficult to go to sleep. Since I've stopped looking at the clock, however, I've had no problems.

Anway, as you can guess; no snooze.

I don't use the snooze button. I use a more "unique" method. I just let the alarm ring and turn it off. I then turn on my bedroom light and lay in my bed in a half awake/half asleep state of delirium for about a half hour. After that I get out of bed.

I also do not use the snooze button. My alarm is set for the radio to come on, so I just turn it off. I usually lay in bed for another five minutes, but I have fallen back to sleep a few times and was late for school.

No need for it, I don't really do it like Recca but it is the same idea. All I do is remember what time I have to wake up and then during sleep somehow(i don't know how i do this) I bolt up and get dressed. Same deal on weekends when i have to see my shows :)

I just turn my alarm off and go to sleep. It's usually a light one, so I still wake up with enough time to get to school. A few times (more so when I work the night before) I've slept through, and still happened to make it in time. I really hate it when I wake up late, knowing that I set my alarm, to find that it somehow turned off, and I don't remember doing it!
