Unfriggin'beleivable--they used the old CBS special graphics. :)

The "Christmas Carol" riff was great for those of us like myself who by this time in the game are really damn sick and tired of the 36,245 "A Christmas Carol" versions that clog the airwaves like someone after consuming a stocking of Ex-Lax. And the final reveal totally owned, as did the Christmas-themes opener.

I would never have guessed Brock was a frustrated Bass player. He seemed like a die-hard electric guitar man. Oh yeah, and what were those elves doing to that lady?

I don't think plans to kill your arch-enemy should ever be referred to as "sexy," but that's the Monarch for you.

Triana totally shooting White down was priceless, as was the maddening number of cameos at the party. and any Christmas special that dares to mention the Star Wars Holiday Special kicks ass. Really. Actual ass.

And I totally totally think Christmas needs more fistfights with people beating the holy monkey hell out of goat-demons and then blowing up. :)

All this, an amazingly politically incorrect ending aaaaand . . .not one pee jokes?!?! Give us all a Christmas present this year CN and RENEW THE FRIGGIN' SHOW, ALREADY.A+

"What are the elves doing to that woman?" - Hank

"They're dwarves Hank." - Brock

There weren't many jokes this episode but Brock was unusually vicious this episode so it was all okay.

ah man, only 15 minutes :(

Was fun while it lasted but they sure crammed a cubic assload of stuff in this one. Little Joseph was awesome though

cool I loved the special christmasy intro and the whole episode even though it was lots of dreams.....weird dreams! since most of it was a dream does it mean Dean isn't effiminate?

That episode shouldn't have been just 11 minutes. It seemed rushed. But overall, it was hilarious. The best scenes were the ones with the monarch and dr. girlfriend.

I give this episode a B+.

I wish this was longer, but still this was a fantastic episode. The opening alone was great, but everything else was up to Venture standards of greatness.

Wasn't bad but was weak for VB. I only laughed a couple of times. Best parts were Tiny Joseph (that was hilarious) and the Monarch/Dr. Girlfriend sequences.

I think VB just tends to work better at 30 minutes, when it has more time to develop the storylines. I think they squeezed a lot into 12 minutes here, which might've brought it down a bit.

But I'm being too negative, it was decent. Still hoping for a season 2.

Most of the episode was good, but I didn't like the copout ending. Needed more time.

That was probably the main flaw in this episode, it wasn't a 12 minute episode, it was a twenty two minute (or however long VB usually is) in 12 minutes. I still found it pretty funny though.

Special Christmas intro, a Bauhaus mention, Monarch/Dr. Girlfriend bickering, an exploding baby Jesus, a bucketload of Christmas Special parodies (and a Star Wars Holiday Special reference!), Brock's stash of XXX-Mas porn...nice. The 11-min. time limit hurt the episode and it felt very rushed, but as always The Venture Bros. delivers goodness.

I really, really want this show to be renewed.

Tis the greatest gift AS has given to me this holiday season.

Now I have a new euphenism to say "Your fly's open."

Pretty funny, had plenty of humorous moments. At first I didn't think the 15 minute (or 12, whatever) time span would work with VB, but they pulled it off. And ugh, that closeup shot of Dr. Venture's ass must've went by pretty fast for me not to notice it in the actual episode.

I give A Very Venture Christmas an A-.

So, Dr. Orpheus is supposed to be a parody of Frederic March? I thought he was a spoof of Ra's Al Ghoul.

I think he's more in the Dr. Strange mold, myself. He's given to puttering around in magic and uttering utter nonsense with really loud and overdone declarations.

^Very true plus I see a good bit of Vincent Price as well.

Like the rest I would've liked a full episode as well. But half a new VB is better than no new VB at all.

Who was all at the party, I saw Steve Sommers was his Sasburger there? Saw Action Man, Kano, and Otto Aquarius was Gentleman there? I might've missed him. Of course Billy and Doc White were there always a plus, Doc and Triana too.

Did I miss anybody?

This was alright, but Venture Bros. does not work in an 11 minute format, it needs to be 30 mins. The Billy Quizboy and Dr. White hittting on Triana thing could have been so much longer if it was in a regular episode format that and everything went by just way too fast. Still, it was enough to satisfy me and demand a Venture Brothers Season 2.

Though I'm not a fan of seeing Rusty get all violated by a German demon, but hey the rest of that episode was rushed gold. Seriously, season 2, and the next holiday special, 22.

I thought this episode was great. They were rushed to make this episode so they must've decided they didn't have enough time to make it normal. They managed to make another great episode in the shortened time, the whole nativity scene was hilarious. If Adult Swim doesn't renew this show for a new season I'll go down there and... whine.

I thought the beginning was a little weak with the initial dream sequences, but after that everything picked up we were back to the normal Venture Brothers hilarity. Highlights included the rampaging demon, Triana getting hit on, and of course the Monarch and his sexy plan.

The ending caught me off guard and Doctor Venture’s comment about being found by the PLO versus the Israeli’s was hilarious. Oh Doctor Venture, you can’t give the PLO plutonium you big silly!

Standard Venture Brothers. AKA, pretty funny. 15 minutes didn't seem to hold this episode back, although I still want a half-hour of Team Venture.

I wasn't really in a holiday mood this year until I saw this episode - I got a few good laughs and now I just hope Santa brings us a VB Season Two.

Great stuff in just 15 minutes, from the CBS special opening to the X-1's nighttime crash in Israel ("If it's PLO, though, my Arabic's a little rusty").

Would that this show COULD air on CBS ...

Well, if the krampus is germanic in orgin, he should be called ruprecht, (I belive) and those sticks are to be left in childrens shoes so the parents can beat them. For all who want to know, if a german child is real evil, he puts them in a sack and hauls them to jail. Ok then, german class has payed off.

Best line..."That gay albino is hitting on your non-girlfriend."

I didn't really like the whole dream of a dream of dream thing, but otherwise it was good. Typical VB. Needed to be longer though.

Wow, who'd a thunk it, a Venture Brothers episode that I actually laughed at...hmmm...let's see, I thought the pilot was funny, and this episode was funny, but I don't find the rest of the series funny at all...maybe the real problem with this show is it's half hour format. The 15 minute format seems to work a lot better.

Edit:I just read all the posts here. So everyone completely disagrees with me. Why am I not surprised...

It was good. The constant dream waking up was funny. Hank in the closet, and Brock doing his thing with the monster, the ending with th plane crashed in Israel was priceless. Rushed, a bit but still good, hopefully this won't be the last VB we see.

Don't forget Mr. Impossible and his (pregnant) wife.Sat down and watched the repeat, I can't believed I missed them. Yes Sasquatch and Mister Gentleman were there too. I guess he AM, K and OA* didn't hold any hard feelings after Brock went sickhouse on their asses in PT.* I also spotted Mandalay, Roy Brisby's former bodyguard and the masked Mexican wrestler from the prologue of Dios Los Dangerous. You know the one that applauded when Brock took off his underwear and at the end who said "Senor Sampson, take me with you".

Wait a minute, isn't Triana like 15/16? She's getting hit on by Doc White who's like 43/44?

It was an alright episode, but not quite on par with the rest of the episodes. It definetly had it's moments, though. I have to agree, this length isn't quite working for it.

1. Heh, the Grinch's growing heart... the Xmas Carol ending....

2. Brock's Xmas pr0n....

3. "Baby Jesus" penis... haven't heard that one since.... :D

4. Wow, those two must really be doctors because they're acting like pediatric gynecologists (pedo, for short) around Triana. :anime:

5. Morpheus burning the mistletoe and embarrassing Triana... just like a good parent should on Xmas parties. ;)

6. The Krampus punishing the wicked... What kind of kinky Xmas was that?! :ack:

7. Palestinians... jet plutonium... No comment. :p

8. Again, coupled with Tom Goes to the Mayor, WTF! This is what Xmas is all about. :)

I believe Brock said that if the Israelis arrive first, they may have a chance (he has some friends in the Mossad - Israel's CIA).
