This new board looks very very spiffy! Nice job and kudos to the Toon Zone crew, I think we'll all be very comfortable in this new home we call a board!
A tip of the hat and a bite off a carrot for
Jon, Brian, and all the rest of y'all!

Time to try this new thingy...
I like what you've done with this place.
Looks like it'll carry on the TTTP tradition very well!

Having to switch to What Aired Today? to see what's been on, then coming back here to
talk about it.
BTW, the 9.30 AM E/W Bugs and Daffy was the same as the one at 3 AM.

I noticed that too... it was easier to have the cartoon contents and comments all in one thread.
And so much for having rare cartoons every night...
riggem fraggem... dern galoots...

There are a few reasons behind that... Because they new board bumps threads with replies to the top of the list, it would be impossible to keep the list of what aired today in order within the TTTP. Putting it on a board that doesn't allow replies ensures they stay in order. Second, they're all in one place. I often record weeks worth of stuff without ever checking it, and when I finally get around to it, I have a hard time finding where the contents were posted.
Maybe instead of people just posting contents to the "What Aired Today Board", and then having to come here to discuss it, the contents can continue to be posted here, and a moderator can move it over to the other board for archival purposes. How's that for a compromise?

I like that idea.
I understand the desire to have them all in one organized place - I've had to search through the archives for the contents of old shows many times also.

Maybe that would be a good idea. The only problem that I see with your idea is how long the contents would stay on the TTTP before being moved to the What Aired Today forum.

They wouldn't be moved, they would just be copied. The first post (not the replies) would be copied to the "What Aired Today?" board, and the original would stay here and be replied to as usual. That way people who just want to know what came on can go to the "What Aired Today" board, and people who want to know what came on and also talk about it can go to the TTTP as usual. A win-win situation!
I think we'll end up going with this idea. All I need to do is disbale new threads in the "What Aired Today?" board, and post something that says to post show contents in the regular TTTP for now on. I just want to get Jon's input first.
