What about this Ed, Edd n Eddy Valitimes Day Special what do you guy's think?

It’s supposed to be the next one to air I guess Valentines Day I guess. Any who since guy's almost all of you guy's seemed to have liked the Christmas special what do you think about this one? Do you think it will be just as good? Also what do you think it should about? I'd like it to finish the whole Double D/Sarah saga but that's just me.

I highly doubt the show would get into that. It'll probably be something about the boys trying to fit for Nazz or something along those lines. But you make a good point, I wouldn't be surprised to see it addressed...indirectly I assume.

I don't know. Personally I think they've gone everywhere they're going to go with the current female characters. The only thing that really hasn't been done is a situation where Kevin and Rolf both have girlfriends making Nazz up for grabs on Valentines Day and the Eds really fighting amongst themselves for her affection.

For all we know they won't go with any such cliche plot though and possibly introduce a new character.

Oh gez I hope they don't add a new character. What I noticed in one episode called "Take this Ed and Shove it" Naz went over and hugged Double D all happy I was in complete shock. So maybe they'll surprisingly hook those odd couple up. Also I think in “The Ed that Stood Still" I think that's the name Naz kisses Double D on the cheek. Maybe they'll become an item on TV Tome there was a rumor under the Valentines day special saying Naz will fall for Double D but who knows she flirts like heck with the guy's.

The whole Double-D and, well, ANY of the girls on the show just seems so..."expected" that I just can't see them doing it, or at least not doing it seriously. The fact that they -didn't- let Jingle Jingle Jangle wind up with the type of mushy/corny ending you'd expect from a Christmas special makes me feel confident that aka will be just as irreverent to the holiday and as true to their characters in the Valentine's Day one - no soppy endings or Ed-boys hooking up with anybody, that's my guess =) At least, I rather hope not - somehow to me the idea of one of them getting a girlfriend spoils their group dynamics - the show's meant to be about Ed, Edd and Eddy, and it works SO well when the focus is on the three of them and their weird little interactions with one another; "Two Eds and a couple" just doesn't sound nearly as much fun to me...

Of course, that means I'm left without a clue as to what I think they -will- do in the special - the whole 'Ed-boys trying to win Nazz's attention' thing has already been done in Boys Will Be Eds and I'd be surprised if they repeated that any more than they repeated Fa, La, La, La Ed in creating Jingle, Jingle Jangle -- maybe it will be one of the themes going on but personally I'm hoping for something new and unexpected in this one, too....if I knew what that would be I guess it wouldn't be unexpected...so...uh...okay, I'm shutting up now =)

And don't forget Sarah/DoubleD. In her diary, she said he was cute, she's fallen in love with him, and she did ask him for the gold pants in one episode (and Naz asked Eddy).

It'll be weird if Sarah chases DoubleD, all three Eds try to get Naz, and end up in the Kanker's house in the special.

Another theory I thought about, is tht since the Christmas Special is focused mainly on Eddy, the Valentine Special would be focused on Edd, and the Halloween Special would be about Ed. (not necessarily that way around).
But it's just a thought is all. I have a suspicion that the Kankers will make an appearence in both.

Kevin man that's sick. Oh and yah Sarah did say she still liked him in "For your Ed only". And maybe like someone here said since they focused the Christmas special on Eddy, the Val times Day special will probably focus on Double D and the Halloween special on Ed. Makes sense to me.

I just guessed that Edd would choose romance over scary, and Ed would do the opposite. Do you recall "Honor Thy Ed"?

It'll probably air on 11 February 2005. With that said, I hope it does delve into the soft-touched areas. The Eds do need a new character, but not after 52 episodes and one special. It's too late for one.

The only thing that turns me off from an EE&E Valentine Special is the fact that the Kankers are bound to appear in it.Yeah, that's blah. I hope it will have a sort of Sarah/Edd connection, but it's very doubtful. Oh and in the "Serial Toucher" (sorry, can't remember the name) ep, Edd tells Sarah "You know, someone has touched my stuff too." in an odd way, which I took as attraction. The lack of girls on the cul-de-sac leaves me thinking it'd just be another ep where all the guys swoon Nazz. :rolleyes: Yippie.
