And just how do you intend to resolve this little crisis in only one chapter? Of course, you might not resolve it at all, in which case I may have to kill you...but hopefully it won't come to that.;)
Anyway, that chapter was cool, as per usual. It's good to see Raven's Emotions get more than a mere cameo appearance, and I've yet to see Malchior feature in a fic anywhere else, so that was a nice surprise: don't worry, he seems relatively in character for a self-labelled evil genius who has to spend a year with Trigon himself...

Yes, hopefully we will be able to spare the mortal. That was very good. I love your story. ^_^ I like Malchior.. he's cool. I'm glad you're making him part of the plot. Write more or suffer the wrath of me, NARAKU!...... hehe... um yea. I just like Naraku a lot. Pay no mind to me....

Did I ever say that Sparrow was gonna get out of Raven's mind before the story ended? Keep in mind that the next story will pick up exactly where this one ended so I don't have to solve the crisis right away...
I have a good hinding place if it does come to that. ;)

I am feeling especially evil at the moment. I want Anime, Nevermore, and Crow to reply to chapter 19 before I even start the last chapter. I may let Navermore off cause I know he's busy, but Anmie and Crow shall relpy if you guys ever want the last chapter of AND! I just recently noticed that the first letters of this story spell 'and'. Hmmm...

Well it doesn't seem that Anime and Crow are going to reply anytime soon, so I wrote the next chapter. As I said before this is the last chapter of the story, and I beg you all will forgive me for the huge cliffhanger I left. :p
Chapter 20 ~The End~
As told by Malchior….
I sat in the middle of a circle of pots that were smoking slighting.
“We who dwell in this cursed book of Rorek call to the powers of dark magic. With evil and enchantment combined we shall open a portal to the outside world.” I started the ritual.
“Dreadful darkness hear me as I summon thy power. Release us from imprisonment. Let the ones who reside in here, walk free again and reappear. Permit us conquer the power of good with, this curse free us and we shall serve you well….”
The pots around me started to glow, some red, some black. My work was finished. I removed myself from in between the pots. The lights connected with one another, black joining red and red joining black. Now there was a crisscrossing pattern from pot to pot that gradually turned into one big pool of light.
“It’s ready.” I said.
As told by Sparrow….
“Sparrow… wake up.” The gentle voice of Timid roused me from my sleep. While I had been sleeping I had been moved to a cave type dwelling. There was another Raven emotion, dressed in red-violet, who seemed to live with Timid.
“Hi, I’m Honesty.” She said, knowing that we had never met.
“Erm, hi…” I said. I was still drowsy from my nap. “How long have I been out?”
“Couple hours or so…” Timid answered.
“Great,” I mumbled to myself. Then to Honesty and Timid: “Do either of you know how long I’m going to be here?”
“No one does, it depends on when Trigon and Malchior decide to evade.” Honesty replied.
“Malchior…now why dose that name ring a bell?”
“He’s the guy that tricked Raven into freeing him from that book, and then she trapped him back in there again. At least he has some company with Dreadful Daddy around. They must like each other cause they both tried/ succeeded to manipulate Raven into doing something.” Honesty kept going on and on talking about things that didn’t really matter at the time.
“If you get her going she’ll never stop. Honesty will start by talking about the topic but then wind up telling some of Raven’s secrets. It’s best for you not to listen.” Timid suggested.
I nodded. I wasn’t the kind to poke and pry, especially in something as mysterious as Raven’s mind. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to know the truth about some of the things Honesty could tell me about. Suddenly we heard someone clearing their throat behind us.
“Achem…” Timid and I turned to look at who spoke, but Honesty kept on talking to herself. Intelligence was standing in the doorway.
“While I’m sure Sparrow wouldn’t mind knowing some of Raven’s secrets,” Intelligence spoke slowly. I blushed.
“N-no I really wouldn’t want…” I mumbled as she and Timid giggled.
“Oh, I’m sure. Just remember pretty-boy everything you say or do will be known by Raven eventually.” She winked, and then sighed. “All silliness aside for now. I have reason to believe that Trigon will soon be in our mists. I can just feel the darkness.”
I was extremely worried now. I had no idea what was going on in the outside world and without the team’s help we wouldn’t have a chance of waking Raven up.
“Hang on, I’m gonna see if my communicator woks in here.” I said. Timid, Intelligence, and Honesty, who was now listening, nodded in agreement. I punched in Robin’s call number and waited. Just when I had given up hope, someone answered.
“Robin?” I asked uncertainly.
“Sparrow, where are you what’s going on?”
“I’m in Raven’s mind and Trigon’s found a way to escape from Raven’s book with the help of Malchior. You guys do all you can to wake Raven up, if you can’t then I might not be around for much longer.” I glanced at the three Ravens standing behind me. Timid had unshed tears in her eyes, Honesty hugged herself but nodded as she knew it was the truth, and Intelligence looked down and blinked furiously.
“This battle will be much, much worse than when you faced Trigon in Azarath. There are some 50 emotions here, but without the outside Raven, we can’t join together.” Intelligence explained to Robin, still fighting back tears.
“We’ll do what we can.” Robin said sincerely. Then he got off the comm.
“Sparrow…” Timid approached me.
“Just don’t start it Timid, I can’t bear it!” Honesty cried. Several tears rolled down her cheeks. Timid ignored Honesty, laid her head on my chest, and sobbed. I was on the verge of tears myself but I knew I had to be strong for Raven. The gray clad Raven moved back and let Intelligence draw near me.
“I’m sorry we dragged you into this.” She said.
“It’s better this way.” I replied solemnly. She hugged me and allowed her tears to fall.
Finally, Honesty came up to me. She kissed my cheek softly and whispered.
“Raven loves you more than you could ever imagine. We all do.” As she drew back in place with the others, Intelligence’s head shot up.
“It’s time.”
As told by Robin…
‘…I might not be around much longer…’ Sparrow’s words still rang inside my head. He had no idea what this meant to all of us, what it would mean to Raven. If she ever woke up that is. A few hours before we noticed that Sparrow was missing, Starfire had woken up. We told her the news and she was very upset, although upset hardly describes it. Now she sat on the edge of Raven’s bed holding one of Raven’s hands in her own.
“Dearest Friend Raven please wake up. Join us in the conscious world so we may free Sparrow from your mind. Save him from a dreadful battle that may end in his death.” Starfire pleaded. She had long ago cried her eyes dry and it pained me to see her do so. But Raven simply wouldn't wake up.
We were all very sad but none so much as Barelei. Tears could not explain how sad he was. He had huddled in a corner of Raven’s room and sat watching us all with a pitiful look on his face. He looked like a trapped rabbit. I don’t know what went on between him and Raven but to me it seemed that they had taken to each other like siblings.
Cyborg had a glazed look in his eyes that meant he was remembering past events. I had no doubt in my mind about what they were. Beast Boy was a different story entirely. His face was tearstained and he clung on to Terra as if she were his lifeline. His sobs still continued but he, like Starfire, had cried to his extent.
“I wonder if Raven had any idea how much losing her would hurt us.” I mumbled monotonously to myself. It wasn’t as if anyone were listening. But Terra replied as though I had spoken directly to her.
“I know she doesn’t.” After her words had faded into the silence, I noticed something peculiar about the chest next to Raven’s bed. Red smoke was drifting out of it. That could only mean one thing.
“Guys! It’s happening!” I yelled. Everybody seemed to come out of a deep trance as they looked at the chest. Beast Boy turned into a boa constrictor and wrapped himself around the trunk. He was attempting to hold the box shut with the squeezing strength of the snake he had turned into. A voice rang out through the room.
“DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INTERFERE WITH MY DARK MAGIC!” It said. The voice was strangely magnified to about 500 times its normal tone. It was the voice that could only belong to Malchior. Beast Boy was thrown off the trunk as it burst into pieces, each smoking slightly with that eerie red smoke. Where the chest once stood the great form of a dragon was seen beyond the red mist.
“Where’s Trigon?” Barelei asked. I was confused as well. From what Raven, Cyborg, and Beast Boy had told me about Trigon, he was a humongous demon. I saw no demon among the smoke.
The mist cleared and I saw… a human form. The person standing there wasn’t human, but they looked almost like it. I knew this was Trigon. The fact that this ‘human’ had four red eyes and horns coming out of the top of his head told me so. I turned to look at my fellow Titans to see what they thought of Trigon looking almost human. To my surprise, Barelei had a look of loathing on his face.
“How dare you take the form of a human? How dare you try and act like you’re a decent human being?” Barelei spat. Trigon laughed.
“Do you think I could have bore Arella a child in my true form? No my dear boy this is how I have to be to walk among you now. If not, this ‘tower’ would be broken to pieces in a matter of seconds. But enough about me, let’s talk about you. You’ve grown boy, no longer the skinny twig you once were.”
“My name’s not ‘boy’ it’s Barelei, and you of all people should know that.” Barelei said through gritted teeth. "So, are you going to try and kill us or what?”
“Ah you know that I would enjoy killing innocent victims that get in my way, but it’s too bad that you will be useful. As for the rest of them,” Trigon waved a careless hand at Terra, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and me. "Yes they shall die in time.”
“Not if I have anything to do with it.” Barelei said. Trigon laughed again and red smoke obscured our senses before we even knew what was happening.
“He’s headed towards the mirror!” I heard Beast Boy shout.
“Stop him!” I yelled back. But it was too late. The mist cleared once again and the last thing I saw was a raven’s talon grabbing Trigon and pulling him into Nevermore. His last words echoed out of the mirror.
“My world is soon to come.”
And so it ends... I'm very proud of this chapter in particular, I hope you all liked it as well. Stay tuned for news about the last story in my Raven/Sparrow series: The Begining or End? But first you will get a different taste of my writing from my suspence/ mystery fic soon to come. :anime:

You were indeed correct: that is the most gittish of git cliffhangers. Whether you be proud, ashamed, both or neither is up to you, but I for one suggest the first one.;)
Waiting for the third and final part of this trilogy may well be the end of me, but if what you write in between is cool enough - which, knowing you, it will be - there shouldn't be any real issues there. I hope.
Anyway, I wish you good luck with fic number three!:anime: :anime: :anime:

Thanks for all that you said Matt. I'm not plaining to release the prologue to my next fic until everyone has replied to this. And this time I mean it. Everyone being Crow, Vortexgirl, Raven37, Nevermore, and possibly Anime. I'm guessing with a combined effort that could happen soon. Everything lies with the readers now...
If you thought the cliffhangers where bad on this just wait until you see my next fic. As I mentioned before it will be and mysery/suspence story. I plan to keep you all guessing for quite a while.

Well, when Raven37 reads the last chapter, I believe I can subimt the prolouge to my next story: Surrounded by Mysteries. Can everyone that has read this from the beginging till the end (including Faith) promise me that they'll read my next fic? I'm not blind, I did notice that after the fifth chapter or so I got half the reviews I had at the begining.
Well for the few of you who have read all of this, thanks. You make me feel like a good writer. Special thanks to Faith cause she read both my fics in like a day, and I didn't even ask her. ;)
