Talkback: Totally Spies - December 5th - 8pm e/p - CN
Morphing is Soooo 1987
Tim Scam is back and this time he's built a "morphing robot" (think T-2) that can effortlessly take on the appearance of anyone. Suddenly, when the spies least expect it, people in their daily lives start to attack them. The spies ultimately discover the shape-shifting robot and then battle Tim Scam in a big showdown. In a b-story, Sam becomes a taskmaster – micromanaging her roommates' schedule of chores.
Upcoming Schedule:
#62 - The Incredible Bulk - 12/12
#61 - Super Nerd Much? - 12/19

So I thought it was pretty good... the ep was based around the spies bein' at school which was fun for a while... sorta like "Evil Boyfriend/Matchmaker" episodes... we need more social time for these gal's. :)

1. The Terminator-1000 episode. They even did the T-1000 running scene. :D
2. That WOOHP gadgets scene really reminds me of Martin Mystery's.
3. Those colorful wigs are "creepier than a sci-fi con"... or an anime con, for that matter. :p
4. Heh, finally Alex got to whack Clover, the real one. :)
5. Jerry sure was doing some kung-fu fightin' as fast as lightning!

Noticed: (24 hours after the fact)
-Okaaaaay...I can see the writers were watching 'Terminator 2' for inspiration on this one...
-Geez...Mandy's doppleganger even runs like the T-1000 when she charges at the girls baring her liquid-metal arm-swords
-Jerry...I didn't know you had it in ya:eek: . Even the girls seemed awestruck at his acrobatic buttkicking skills during the climactic fight with Scam and his liquid-metal flunkies.
---PCJ (aw, man...I've admitted to watching this show now)
(and then someone else jumps in and posts while I was editing this so I'm not event the first comment:shrug: )

Not too bad ep.:) Wow, Tim Scam has returned with the liquid-metallic stuff from T2: Judgement Day.":p
I thought the action was pretty good. Especially Jerry in the weapons room against the clones.:D
I also loved when the girls were trying out for soccer. Excellent moves!:D
Unfortunately, I didn't care too much for the b-plot. The least Sam could've done was help out with the chores herself. At least, she got hers in the end with cleaning her room.
Still, not too bad. I give it 3 stars.:)
BTW, I agree with Sugah. The girls should "hang out" more often.:)

Actually I found this episode of Totally Spies (Morphing is so 1987) to be a Bit misleading in the title... This one Should have been titled Scam-lar or something else.. Frankly it didn't have anything to do with Morphing abilitiles.. and in fact it definitely looked like the real story is more T2: Judgement Day Based then something you would say would be Power Rangers Based (After all like I figured the Title was Misleading a bit..
anyway the A-Story was excellent, and yes Viper I do have to agree the Girls do need to hang out more often, and in fact they need to even show the girls doing other things then just "Lounging around the house (When they aren't cleaning it!) after all Alex has some really killer Soccer moves.. but what's even more Suprising is that Jerry is so Nimble even for a Guy in his Mid 50's (I guess all that Agent Training keeps a Guy like Jer, active... Now if the girls can get him a Girlfriend.. (Ahem I Digress here..)
Tim Scam of course Came back nastier then ever..(And I figure Scam is going to be a bit of a "Regular" Villain and i hope he comes back to cause More Grief for the girls later this season (or early next in Season 4..)
The B-plot was in fact a bit weak, and again I agree Viper.. Sam should have helped Clover and Alex out more Cleaning the house more..(Still Sam is always a bit of non-neat Freak when it comes to cleaning it appears.. and at least that is a flaw that some villain could always exploit...)
all in All Morphing is so 1987 I give a rating of just about the same but a little higher.. 3.5 stars.. it's much better then most episodes but falls short of "The Evil Coffee Shop Episode..

Dang it. Missed the first five minutes of it. Ah well.
The A-plot was pretty good(can't really comment on the B-plot since I missed half of it). Scam makes a good repeating villian.
The best part had to be Uber-Ninja Jerry. It was also the best animated part of the show.
7/10

Talkback: Totally Spies - December 12th
The Incredible Bulk
When serious exercise aficionados the world-over start behaving strangely (i.e., they grow enormous muscles, strangely colored skin, super-human strength and seriously uncontrollable tempers), Jerry puts the girls on the case. Their investigation leads them to a totally buff, totally gorgeous ex-Mr. Universe (think Arnold Schwarzenegger) whose brand new product, "Bulky Bars" are creating monsters. In a b-story, Alex meets a really cute bodybuilder at her gym and they totally hit it off. That is, until he begins to "change." Can Alex save her Bulky Boyfriend before he explodes?
Upcoming Episodes:
12/19 - #62 - Super Nerd Much?
(No new episodes on the 26th or the following week.)

It was a pretty good episode. I was a little distrub when that guy bit Clover. After he did that, I thought she would start become bulky nope to my surprise it was Alex. But Clover had the best line: "Come on Alex, you're half the man than he is." (I think I quoted that right).
