I probably wouldn't like a robot of myself either, I like to know where I've been.
And is it just me or did the drummer ghost sound like Roger Daltrey?

Well, this episode has two minis where Puffy were replaced (pretty much) by a different band, or robots. And the "Ami Goes Bad" episode was Ok. This deserves a <B>

all three were real good this time with the last being the best

Ami Goes Bad - was cute at the beginning with Ami's poses! then her getting worse and worse because of the evil drumsticks was funny to

Robo Puffy - is just a silly episode that I liked because of Kaz's scam! why is he always trying to off his two stars? the end was freaky with the Robo Kaz's

Metal Breath - had me giggling all the way through with all the gags of the bands bad habits messing with Puffy and making them the lead-in band then the end was the best since Puffy's metal makeover on the other band and themselves were great!

(mock samurai fight) "Japan, now you know where we from"

Anyway, this was a fun batch of episodes. I liked the robot Ami & Yumi segment the best, though the other two weren't without their charms (like their manager at a rock concert as a little kid... and looking almost exactly the same!). Ami as a freaky transformed guitarist was... erm, freaky.

like their manager at a rock concert as a little kid... I don't think Kaz was supposed to be a little kid there. More like what he looked like in his 20s to me.

Would have given it an B+ for one plot I was sure was original. The one with the robo Puffies. Perhaps Puffy Ami Yumi could start relying more on visual gags like the EEnE to make up for arguably crappy writing.

5/5 or A
... I give everything that score unless I hate it....

"Ami Gone Bad" - You know, if Ami was just like Yumi, then they'd practically be dull. Complimenation (I've used that word twice that week) works. And on the 'bad girl' persona... just what did she do at that party anyway? ;)

"Robo-Pop" - Inventive idea to make robots to make the girls' life easier. Horrific idea for Kaz to use them to grant his every wish. Well, at least ones doable for a kids' show. Oh, and those are some serious hydraulics!

"Metal Mental" - Getting a second band to manage is one thing. Catering to them and completely forgetting about the girls is another. Without the girls, Kaz, you wouldn't have had the opportunity to sign a second band!

Ami and Yumi - Now you know... A's from Tokyo, Y's from Osaka.

This week's set of episodes gets a 3 out of 4.

You know, this show is kind of like FoxBox's Kirby in that it's enjoyable, but leaves so little impression on you that there's not much to say about it later.
