"I Scream", "Turnip", "Pop", "Flavor", "Report", "Lice", "No Powuh"... And today, I saw two stories about food in the same ep (didn't catch the titles, but they were about cheese and snowcones).
Like I said, why all the food eps? Meanwhile, my most significant thoughts on the snowcone ep:
* Not the first time anyone's subverted the "You've been brainwashed by the bad guys" trope... anyone remember The Angry Beavers' "Zooing Time"?
* It's not every day you see Nigel call his mates "idiots" at the end of an ep (even behind their backs, so to speak)...
* Given the sad ending of the ep, couldn't Warburton have decided not to play the regular grunge credits and play, say, the music from the end of "Grow Up" instead? Ruins the mood for me.
(Yeah, the ep's a bit old, but bear with me, people.)

I know what you mean. There are quite a few food themed episodes in KND. I'm not a big fan, though. KND happens to be one of my least favorite cartoons.

Yeah, I'm not sure if there's a purpose, or the writers are just starved (hehe) for ideas.(didn't catch the titles, but they were about cheese and snowcones). That'd be operation S.H.O.G.U.N. (I think) and C.O.L.L.E.G.E.

Oh yeah, forgot "Tapioca" as well. Meanwhile, thinking back to "Shogun": what, were the animators too lazy to even have #2 and the bad guy fight in a smoke cloud or somethin'?

I never really noticed all the food orientedness before <.< But does it really matter? ^^;; I mean, kids hate icky food and the adults most likely know this <.< There's also the whole snowcone deal with Prof XXXL

Are vegetables. Of course there are going to alot of food themed episodes. What else could they use for plots? :p

i guess.....they like food. Actually most likely the producers made one or two eps with food and they turned out really good so they decided to make even more food related episodes.

oh yeah and don't forget the episode where #3 gets put in a "kid's burger" and almost fed to sharks. i can't remember the name. and i'm sure there are alot more cause i am remembering some others too.

The ep in question, with #3 on a bun, is titled "Fast Food". "Find another stupid task for our oblivious dodo".
Meanwhile, caught a rerun later the same day, and I can confirm that the eps are titled "The Shogun" (note the "The") and "College".

According to the creator of the Venture Brothers, they put in a lot of pee jokes because they have to pee a lot while they're writin the scripts. I'm guessin that the KND writers get hungry before their lunch breaks, therefore they start writin about food.

The ice cream men seem to be the standard grunts for most of the adult supervillians, playing into the food theme.
