* This past Tuesday, I caught two more Foster's teasers. One has Coco running in front of the same building from the earlier Mac teaser (and it's not a door with the Foster's and CN logos, it's a poster, and I also notice another poster w/ Madame Foster on it), before laying a yellow egg in front of the Foster's poster. V/O: "What's up with the, uh... chicken?... Find out more on Cartoon Network". The other one has Bloo walking right to left (Mac went left to right), and a shot tracking Bloo until he's past the poster. The V/O now asks: "Who's the Bloo guy?"
* In the very same break with the Bloo teaser for Foster's, CN ran a promo for December. Highlights: WB's Xiaolin Showdown on Fridays Premiere (eh?... Asia has just V/O continuity for Fridays BTW), A Very Jerry Christmas, the "national premiere" of The Little Polar Bear... and "new episodes" of Foster's (they've only aired the telefilm) :D Can't wait!
Random notes on KND, "Fast Food". Just in case:
* This story doesn't even feature KND's scene bumper halfway through, so it cuts from one scene to CN's break bumper, and from CN's return bumper to the bit with the other kids wondering what's taking Kuki so long. Hmm...
* So, when I saw Kuki hanging on to a pipe in the fast food store towards the tail end, I was initially thinking a) "No freaking way!", b) Kuki could at least have explained to the others how she managed to get out of the box before it was given to, ahem, the "customers", and c) "What a waste of chase scene"... then I realized a few hours later, if Kuki really had been in the box, wouldn't she have been frantically running around in the "customers'" car gasping for air or something?
* BTW, did I mention that the "customers" are sharks? :D And nice use of the fact that sharks have to keep moving to avoid sinking. Though given the high fantasy element (and I'm using the term loosely) of this show, couldn't they at least have spoken (highly gargled ;) ) English?
* Speaking of which: Cree Summer as the shark mom? Never would have guessed... ;)
