Talkback: Totally Spies - 11/21

Foward to the Past

When the spies can't find the WOOHP building, they discover that a villain has traveled back in time to persuade a young Jerry to team up with him to start a different kind of WOOHP – the World Organization Of Hurting People. It's up to the spies to travel back in time and put Jerry on the right path. In a B-story, Clover explores the latest fad, hyper sonic speed dating.

I thought this episode was pretty cool... for the most part I loved all their 70's outfits!! And seeing Mandy's mother as a prune in the ending was hillarious. :anime: They never really dropped into WOOHP this ep.

My avatar has a pic of 70's Alex provided by the TSPA.

This is probably not a bad episode and in fact it's kind of nice to have a Little Time Travel story from time to time..(After all remember Season 1's Stuck in the Middle Ages with You!)

Well here is a more plausible story..(and it would have been interesting to seen a younger version of Sam, Clover, and Alex's Partents... after all I would have thought that if Mandy's Mom was in the 1970's why not their Parents..

The Real suprise is Roller Disco and Kung fu moves rock!

but let's face it .. cheesy Disco Villain..(Funky Cops anyone?)

all in all this one gets 3.5 out of 5...

I liked this episode alot. Seeing a young Jerry was cool(A redhead...who knew?). Also, this episode was just plain pretty. All those colors and disco lights...I know my eyes were happy. Seeing Mandy's mom at the end was a nice suprise(now we've seen all the lead female character's moms). And, dang it, the spys looked good 70's style. I might actually be able to stomach the 70s if women like that are around....grrr.

On a side note, we see the beggining of Jerry becoming an uber-ninja. Him being flipped by Clover and told he should rely on his gadgets so much. If I were beaten in a fight by a valley girl blonde I'd re-think the direction of my life too.

The episode was very dull... All I can say right now. Words are at a minimum.

This was the first episode of Totally Spies I liked! I can't believe it, I actually liked this episode. Ahh I'll probably hate every one after though.

Not too bad of an ep.:) Even though there could've had a little more action, the plot was pretty good. I loved all the different 70's gadgets, including the laser mood ring.:) I thought the spies looked great in their 70's outfits.;) 70's Jerry also looked kinda interesting too, but he should still stick to the gadgets.

I'm not much of a disco fan, though. But I'll always love "Right Back Where We Started From" & "Shake Your Groove Thing", my 2 faves. Totally groovy!:D

I give this ep 3 stars. What can I say? I love the 70's!!!:D (talks in an Austin Powers voice and holds up v-shaped 2 fingers)Yeah, baby, yeah!:D

The episode was very dull... All I can say right now. Words are at a minimum.I kind of agree with you, but I wouldn't use the "dull." This episode seemed to have all the elements that would to make it a good TS episode, but this episode didn't entertain me as much as others did. However, an appearance of Mandy is never a bad thing.
