Well tonight's SmackDown! has just gotten underway. Booker T is the new #1 Contender for JBL's WWE Championship, so JBL will probably have something to say about that. Maybe he'll want to make some sort of statement during the rematch between Booker and Orlando Jordan...
Also tonight: Dawn and Jackie in an arm wrestling contest, Spike attempting to eliminate Big Show, and the Tough Enough contest continues.

BOOK-ING A REMATCH
Nov. 4, 2004
Booker T will try and stay hot this week as he gets a rematch with JBL Chief of Staff Orlando Jordan.
Meanwhile, after their adventures with Big Show last week in Omaha, Neb., the Tough Enough crew will get another chance to impress WWE fans this week.
Plus, bitter enemies Dawn Marie and Miss Jackie will get it on in an Arm Wrestling Contest.
Also, what exactly does Spike Dudley have in mind?
After meeting with Kurt Angle last week, Spike promised to help the Olympic Champ out for his upcoming tag team elimination match at Survivor Series.
Angle, Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak need a fourth member to go against Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam, and more importantly, Big Show. Reigns and Jindrak will face RVD & Mysterio tonight in tag team action.
Spike said he would help deal with Angle’s giant problem if a Dudley could join them on Cleveland on Nov. 14. Stay tuned.
Don’t miss SmackDown! this week on UPN (8/7 CT).

OH my! I haven't been watching much as of late, so I missed big slow getting his hair cut. I thought it was King Kong Bundy walking down to the ring when I first saw him last night!

Wow, Kurt is right. MTV does suck. Oh it's true. It's true...That's extra funny because Tough Enough used to be an MTV show.

Well, Josh Matthews was a surprising one. And he has a good idea....
Anyway, Heidenreich is still the man. It doesn't matter how poorly acted the character is, it is funny to watch and see each and every week.
Same to CCC. Carlito is absolutely awesome, but I hope the Jesus won't interfere with that.
It's still weird seeing Tough Enough during Smackdown basically. Also I heard that the UFC guy took down Angle in some submission move, but the refs just counted him as pinned so that Angle wouldn't look bad.
Josh Matthews wrestling.. very pleasant surprise. Heck, if WWE throws the Coach out there every now and then, I don't see why he can't get some ring time too.
Booker T for the title at Survivor Series.. It would just be awesome if he won. :D

Here's what Dave Meltzer had to say about the Angle-Puder incident:
"The Kurt Angle-Daniel Puder deal from last night's Smackdown is really interesting. On MMA message boards, this has turned into the biggest story in a long time, and the funny part is, many MMA board people don't get the big picture at all and hate pro wrestling. I've seen some talk on pro wrestling boards, but while I've gotten tons of phone calls about it, I've gotten almost no e-mails about it, so I don't think many fans watching saw what really happened. Just to answer a few questions on it. It was real. If you don't follow fighting, Puder had Angle locked in the Kimura, or keylock as Tazz called it, although Tazz didn't let on the move was fully executed. Not only was Angle not getting out of the move, but most MMA fighters would have tapped already. Angle couldn't tap for obvious reasons. The ref counted a three even though Puder's shoulders weren't fully down, trying to end the thing, because the reality was Angle would have been in surgery had it gone a few seconds longer or had Puder not given up the hold. My impression is, since this was a taped show, that nobody in enough power in the company actually understood what happened and let it air, and figured most would see it as a pinfall in 40 seconds. And they were 98% correct, between the commentary and the pinfall, that is how most saw it. It was only when it was all over MMA boards last night that "unknown shootfighter really beats Kurt Angle" and was the hottest topic all night, that they took the footage of it off their web site, and replaced it with copy that said, "Angle mauled Nawrocki, before taking volunteers, next pinning Daniel Puder in a slightly tougher, but still relatively easy match." This is when you know a company is doomed. When God hands them an angle that would get people talking like nothing they've been able to create on their own, given them the potential for legit water cooler talk had they played it right, and they are so blind they go in the opposite direction. Tazz called it like, "well, so much for the UFC." Yeah, and so much for The Invasion angle as well. "

This week's show was pretty good. The Tough Enough segments are taking up a lot of time, though, so I guess the wrestling on Velocity is really going to improve for the next two months.
This week's Tough Enough segment was really entertaining. Kurt Angle berating the contestants could have been boring, but I though it was interesting when the one contestant told Kurt that his size didn't matter and a few others called Kurt "sir." That's not the kind of attitude I expected out of these guys. The second shoot fight was especially good. I have no knowledge of UFC or MMA, but I still knew that something wasn't right about that fight. Pruder was locked onto Kurt and that pinfall was awfully weak.
The first real match of the night was nothing to get excited about. Booker T was able to beat Orlando Jordan cleanly last week, so you knew that this rematch would have a screwy ending.
Next up was Big Show chokeslamming Bubba and D-Von through the tables. After the break Carlito joined Team Angle. I'm not a big fan of Carlito yet, but his inclusion makes more sense than any of the Dudleys. He's not ready to have a singles match on one of the big pay-per-views, but this way the U.S. Champion still gets to be involved in the event.
The teams of RVD & Mysterio and Jindrak & Reigns put on the best match of the show. RVD and Mysterio had some nice double-team moves, so I was disappointed when Long informed Eddie that Mysterio was off his team. Mysterio's too big for the Cruiserweight division. I hope that RVD and Mysterio continue to team up after Survivor Series. SmackDown! could use some good tag teams.
Dawn Marie versus Miss Jackie in an arm wrestling contest and Heidenreich beats down Charlie Haas... well, at least they combined two crappy segments into one. At least Heyman was able to make the attack somewhat entertaining by continuously yelling out that Heidenreich was attacking Haas, not Undertaker.
The main event match was okay. Mathews hit an awesome crossbody and I liked how he wasn't involved in the finish. The only thing that took away from this match for me was that there had already been segments on the show featuring these four men. The Tough Enough segments take up a lot of time, so it seemed like they wasted some with this angle.

Anyone thinking The Rock may possibly be a surprise team member for Eddie?
