Sorry to be a party pooper, but I removed the link. It's leaked content from the official website that, currently, is available only to those who pay for their premium service. It'll air on Access Hollywood tonight, for those who want to see it today. Tomorrow it'll start airing with The Incredibles.

Looked interesting, I have to admit. I liked seeing Padme with Leia's signature hairstyle. And hooray for Wookies!

I like how they used Alec Guinness. Like Lucas is trying to remind everyone "yes, I really did have a plan I swear!"
Cool preview, now lets hope there is more than 45 seconds of good footage in this movie.

HFS, that was just plaing ****ing awesome!! Well, besides the fact that they just gave away the ending and didn't show GG. Regardless, this is truly going to be an awesome movie, and perhaps the best of 2005 (of course, there doesn't seem to be much coming out next year).

Hmmmm, come 6 months from now:
Me: Awe man, EpIII just plain ****ing rocked!! Best SW movie ever!!
User1: Man, what is your problem, that movie sucked worst than the other 2, Lucas is nothing but a worthless scumbag
User2: Yeah, how could you like that piece of crap. Not only was it crap, but now I'm stuck having to put up with a crappy OT with scenes for a PT that sucked.
User3: I just saw this movie for the 18th time, and it was even worse than the first 17 times. How can you like it? If it was better, maybe I would see it another 12 times, but I think 2 more will do.

It could be good. It might be a progressive thing, I wasn't an incredible fan of Attack of the Clones, but I liked it more than Phantom Menace, so maybe I'll like this more then Ep II. I'm glad it seems to be a bit more of a dark movie, but looks can be deceiving.
One comment on it though: Wow..the emperor with a light sabre...here I thought he was just a mastermind using others stupidity or anger to get ahead, who knew a few light tricks with his hands but didn't do much of the grunt work...surprise surprise.

Titanic face-to-face spaceship battles make me wet. Can't wait for May, provided the rest of the film is as good as the trailer.
Go to theforce.net(My freaking computer won't let me open up the thing to make a link cause of this dumb anti-popup thing I installed) and read the stuff they have their. It's freaking cool.

Okay, I'm convinced. I'll see it.
This is still number two on list of movies to look forward to next summer. Batman is number one.

According to TheForce.net, Lucas has a PG version and a PG-13 version of Episode 3. TheForce.net was able to see a rough cut of the PG-13 version which I guess was liked. But it remains unclear right now as to which one Lucas will put in theaters. If you want super spoilers, go to their website. I personally have stayed clear of them.
So Lucas could do the following...
a) continue with tradition and release the PG version.
or...
b) redeem yourself for the first two and end it all with a bang with our first PG-13 Star Wars movie. Really show us the fans how dark this story is as has been hyped already.
But knowing Lucas, he'll give us the PG one, and then in 2007 when he does his "super duper deluxe 6 movie 12 disc boxed set," he'll include the PG-13 one in that one.
Evil man that George Lucas.

Awesome trailer. It gives you slight glimpses of what to expect, but doesn't completely give away all the major stuff. It's almost as good as Star Wars Episode II's trailer "Breathing".

I personally don't see what Lucas would have to lose by going the PG-13 route. Not only did it work with Indiana Jones (Last Crusade was the only one to be PG-13, and yet Temple of Doom was more violent), but kids are gonna go see it anyway, regardless of the rating. Now if it was rated R, that might be a different story.

With out a doubt it needs to be PG-13.
It looked good but I just had the feeling I was watching a video game more than a movie.

WOW.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS.
Too bad portman's in it but at least she probably dies
(Explanation for my disdain for Ms. Portman:
Young people who are eligible to vote for the first time are more likely respond to someone like Portman, said Justin Hamilton, Milwaukee regional press secretary for Kerry.
"A lot of people in this age group - it's your 'Daily Show' crowd - they're not as much into the national ads as they are into learning (um no they mean "being manipulated and told what to do) from others in their peer group," Hamilton said.
Doesn't mind manipulating the "weak minded" and doesn't even like Star Wars. :p )

Now if it was rated R, that might be a different story.Actually, that was because PG-13 didn't exist when Temple of Doom came out. In fact, I think it's what caused the rating to be created.
But Lucas definitely should release the PG-13 version first. Not only is it the movie in its purest form, but it'd definitely boost his standing among the disgruntled fans. "No, seriously! I'm not making Star Wars a kids' franchise! See?" And of course, kids would see it anyway.

I liked it. Some attention to detail pleased me (Ben and Anakin's lightsabres) as well as the tie in with Star Wars IV being underscored in the trailer. Add the old Trilogy themes, the shot of the Blockade Runner interior (so it seems the film will end where the next begins - unusual for a Star Wars movie) made it all pretty cool.
Not crazy mad for the trailer, but a nice montage of clips which bodes well.
Oh, and let's keep political comments out of here boys. Making reference is one thing, inferring in bold and making a polictical statement just as TZ declares a non political period (which is something the EB is anyway) is not too cool. It just tempts people to respond and we get precisely what we are trying to avoid. No more friendly warnings on this. Thanks.

I just realised what was missing in this teaser, what really woulda clinched it for me. A shot of Greivous, but I guess you can't call it a teaser if they show you everything I suppose.

I would have expected them to save that for the movie and show Grievous instead. Not that I'm complaining. They used Vader to good effect.

Actually it is. Lucas has said that Vader doesn't appear until the end of the film, and he has about 5 minutes of screen time. Sucks I know. Hopefully in his short appearance, he'll be used to a good degree. Maybe kill a Jedi or two before the end. I'm hoping Vader is the one that hacks down Mace Windu. I know the spoiler is out there who kills Mace, but I have avoided that spoiler like the plague. I'm thinking it's Grievious, more plausible but I could be wrong. Samuel L. Jackson has said he is really happy with his death scene and he doesn't go out like a punk. He gets a cool death. So that got me thinking that maybe, just maybe he loses in a short light sabre battle with Vader. We'll see.

I just saw this before the Incredibles, and this trailer did what I wasn't expecting it to: Actually getting me a little pumped for Episode III, who'd a thunk. These trailers though have made Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones look pretty cool too, and I'm not totally convinced this film will be any better, but I would be elated if George Lucas is capable of something special this time around...

Who's Grievous? The Darth Maul of Episode III, except he's part droid part alien and has the ability to affectively take down large amounts of jedi without problems. He was introduced in the Clone Wars series that ran on Cartoon Network.

The one that fought Obi-Wan, and was some sort of a kind-of-a tentacled creature? In the Clone Wars series on CN, he fought a group of trapped Jedi. He doesn't have any tentacles....and from what I've seen he hasn't fought Obi-wan. I think you're thinking of Durge.
The CW episode with General Grievious was the very last episode of the series.
Other then that not much is known about him, other then that he's a general for the droid army.

Just want to add, I love the part where Palpatine says "Rise," in that low rumbling voice. Chilling.
