The 1st marking period will end soon for me, and as of now, I'm doing really well in all my classes, except for Algebra II (math is my weakest subject.)
My music classes are all A's right now (I want to be a musician.) English, History, Chemistry, and Gym are all A's as well.
Sadly, I've never gotten past a 78 on my math quizzes/tests. Every quiz/test I've received somewhere in the 70s. But the math quizzes/tests are 20% of my grade, and my other chunk of percentage is good (Homework, Participation, etc.) I may get a B in Math, and that'll dissapoint though.:(
You might say, "oh my god, this guy is stressing over a B in Math" but I know I can do better. It's just sometimes Algebra is like speaking another language.
If they ever graded us in Lunch, I'd be an A+ all the way.:)

This kinda bugs me- one of my profs (for an art class) never tells people what he gave us for grades. So I have no clue how I'm doing in the class. I think I'll ask him on Wednesday.
Otherwise, I'm probably getting "B"s in the other three.

College is not going to well for me. I am on the verge of dropping out - thats how out of my mind I feel! Stress and workload is so high it's like nothing I have ever experienced. Out of 5 [four hour long classes] I am doing bad in 3 of them.
What makes it worse? My sib [same level as me] is having it tough too. We have different classes and similar "I can't take it!" woes. Did I mention there is only one computer between us and not enough hours in the day?

 8th grade... :p how embarassing to say! If it weren't for my mother keeping me & my sister back a year i kindergarden then I'd be in high school now and closer to finshing.
I'm making straight A's except for an F or a C (not sure which) in Pre Algebra.
You can check it at the school's website but it says for this semester I have a 71 (C) but at the end of the grade thing it says a 68 (which is an F, they don't have D's) so I'm not sure which is my grade.
But to be more specific, for this semester I'm making...
Social Studies- A (99)
Reading- A (94)
Science- A (98)
English- A (99)
Pre Algebra- C (71)
P.E- A (94)
Keyboarding- A (100)

Kind of a good news/bad news situation for me. Technically I should have been done with my junior college classes six months ago, but on the plus side I am doing well in the one class I'm taking now. But back on the negative, I only have an A because I failed this class once already and remember most of the material up to this point.
With each day that passes I realize just how right Adam Carolla is. I suck.

I have no idea, but as long as I have at least a C, I'm fine. I really, REALLY hate college - so why am I going AGAIN?! :crying:

Well sadly I don't get report cards until like NEXT YEAR. We only get one at the end of the year and it sucks. But so far in Algebra I get A's, English usually A's. Ticked me off though. We had to write a small paragraph about a picture our teacher gave us using 'emotive language' and then she gave me a b+ because I didn't put the name of the place and one) she didn't give us the name of the places on our pictures and two) SHE DIDN'T TELL US TO PUT THE NAME IN. It sucked. -_-...But I'm still about A average I guess...Spanish I think I'm doing pretty well with but she doesn't actually grade our work...just puts 'bien' or 'muy bien' on it. Oh well. The rest of the stuff I do I don't get graded because I do it at home on my own.

I'm only taking two courses this year:
Psychology: A
French: don't know yet.
This is my tenth grade report card (I didn't get it yet, grades close friday) so far...
Animation - I don't think I'd get lower than an A for this quarter
Honors English 10 - I can't recall doing poorly, I'm going for at least a B
Honors Civics - I'm really sure of an A
Digital Music 1 - I'm a little behind in the keyboard exercises but I did really well on my tests.
P.E./Health - Is it even possible to get less than an A in PE?
Honors Chemistry - I think I'll get at least a C, I played a big part in the design for the school's Mole Day (made 30 freakin' T-shirts). Hopefully, its enough extra credit.
Honors Algebra II - My teacher can barely speak english but so far I don't think I did too bad, I'm going for a B or higher
French 3 - Definitely an A, I've got 90s on all my tests so far.

I'm an 11th grader right now(one more year, and I'm gone:D), so here's how I'm doing so far.
Weight Training- Has to be an A. Considering you only work out and fill out a chart about how many reps you are doing, there isn't much else you can do.
Consumer Math- Should be an A. The last time I checked it was an 89.1 and since we didn't take a quiz or a test, it should have gone up to an A.
Sociology- Either a B or an A. I did good on my last unit test and small project, I just need to know what I got on my unit project.
Modern World History Honors- 91.1(A). History is my greatest subject.
Honors English 11- 85.5(B). I probably could have gotten an A if I hadn't got a C on a major essay.
Ceramics 2- Probably a B.
Earth Science- Technically it's suppose to be a C, since it's a 77.5, but my teacher said she would round it up to a B. I'm one of the few students in her class who does work.
I used to take Precalculus and Physics, but I dropped them because I was failing. I should have higher than a 3.0 this year(last year, the highest GPA I had gotten was a 2.85. Not good considering in the 9th grade, the highest I had gotten was 3.71). Considering how I switched high schools this year, I did pretty well. Now, I need a 4.0.
P.E./Health - Is it even possible to get less than an A in PE?
Yes, surprisingly. There are people who don't want to do anything in PE, even though it's the easiest class to get an A in.

Wow, there are a lot of people here who share my woes in Math. I don't really care for it and I'm not good at it. My future career doesn't require Algebra or Geometry, so I don't make a big deal out of it. (Do you really need to know the circumference of a whole note?)
-Emmanuel:bosko:
Most artistic people are really bad at math, it has to do with some sort of side of your brain (that's what I heard anyway). When it comes to math, I'm not really good at it (takes me ahwhile to catch on) but I'm good enough to pass the course.

As of 10/12 (our 6 week grading period), my grades were (Junior year):
German 4 - A+ (99%) This class is so easy
Academic Reading - A (98%) I really like this class
AP U.S. History - A (93%) *so that's like a 103% on a 5.0 scale
Humanities I - A (96%); the little comment says I demonstrate effort (which I don't. We only do projects and they take me like 20 minutes to do) and "mature insight"
Precalc - A (92%); I like this class, though at times it's confusing
AP Chemistry - B (87%) *so this is like a 97% on a 5.0 scale. I hate this class with a passion, it's so hard

I guess I'll be getting A's in Ceramics 2 and Earth Science. Apparently, my Ceramics 2 teacher said that me and the people I sit with all have A's.:) As for Earth Science, I thought I had a B, but I guess my teacher added more assignments, so I have an A.

I'm doing okay, not the best but still passing. Today I had four hours of math, I did the usual two hours of class that seems to go on and on forever and then because our teacher said she wanted to stay on schedule told us to do our test on our own time in the math lab, that took me two hours to do because I forgot how to do a few problems. So now today I am all mathed out, thank god I only have it on Mondays and Wendsdays.
Also I know I am doing really good in Geography because I can find most of the places I have to find on the map quiz, those are fun to me for some reason.

I hate the College Office of my school. They managed to not send out a mentor letter for my early decision... Way to go...
CS101 (C++)- B-. It's boring and time consuming, but very easy.
CS191 (Discrete Structures) Wow. This class will kill everyone. I'm getting maybe a 55%.
Hist101 (American History unti 1877) I'd say about a B, though if my 2nd test score is good it could be an A.
Math235 (Elementary Statistics) - An easy, informative, but tedious class. At first it was terrible, but I'd say I'm getting a C in it.
Next semester I'm changing my major to something with less math. Forget Coputer Science. I'm thinking Criminal Justice, though Psychology would be nice. Bad thing with Psychology is that I'd need a doctorate to get a good job, and that's four years of school I don't want to take.
