Starfire's Memories.... and Tears....

CHAPTER 1

Starfire stared at the celing once again unable to sleep after the hundredth time of having that horrible dream. 'tomorrow i shall tell raven. perhaps she can help me.' then starfire looked at the clock. 3:23. 'oh.... it already is tomorrow....' She thought as she floated out of bed. she put on her boots and went into the living room and watched TV until she heard someone behind her. she turned and saw robin, yet again.

"starfire? are you okay? this is about the 12th time i found you out here really early in the morning," robin sais with concern writen all over his face.

"nothing is wrong! why would you.... oh.... i cannot hide any longer.... something is terribly wrong robin...." she said, finally putting away her fake smile.

robin sat beside her, "starfire, you know you can tell me anything."

starfire looked at him and started explaining about these repeating nightmares.........


~~~~ IN THE NIGHTMARE~~~~

starfire walks around gotham city and sees no one.... not a soul..... she stops at the pizza place and sees that it is closed. she kicks the door open and goes inside.... not to like what she finds... she finds Beast Boy dead on the floor and Cyborg near him, disabled, dead. she runs out of the pizza place and to raven's favorite getaway. once again, she finds no ne there, except raven's dead body. she then goes to the outskirts of town and sees terra's favorite getaway. she goes inside, and finds many dead bodies along w/ terra's. the tears are cascading down her face as she desperatly searches for robin. all of the ines that she had alredy found were in there favorite place..... but she had never known robin's favorite spot. she looked in his room to find nothing..... then she went to her room and found robin laying on her bed.... dead also.... she runs into the main room of the tower and goes to the security camera's recordings, maybe she could find ut who killed robin. she watches thew monitor of her room and sees robin walk in her room. he sits on the bed and a little later starfire walks in. robin smiles at her, but starfire stares blankly at him. then.... she kills him.... starfire stopped the tape.... she couldnt watch anymore, knowing that she had killed the oly people who ever really cared for her...........


~~~~BACK AT THE TOWER~~~~

"oh robin! what does this horrible vision mean???!!!" starfire said after she stopped crying.

robin seemed to be in deep thought and then said, "i dont know starfire. lets wait for raven to wake up, maybe she can help."

the waited patiently for her to awaken......

Star's never even been to Gotham City. They live in Jump City, which is what I think you meant. It messed up the whole thing for me when I read Gotham, I pictured the red skies and the black, bleary buildings.

CHAPTER 2

"hmmmm..." raven said after starfire finished explaining her dream, "it seems exactly like a premonition. but.... i could be wrong. now we might know that starfire wouldnt do anything like that, but there might be another physic out there. trying to mess with starfire's mind."

robin hit the table, "starfire cant know that."

"im afraid that if we dont tell her, then she'll start to believe that that's her destiny.... to destroy us. we must tell her," raven said staying calm.

"NO!" robin yelled standing up and tossing the table across the room, "WHEN I GIVE YOU AN ORDER YOU FOLLOW IT! YOU WILL NOT TELL STARFIRE!"

raven glared at him and then said, "control your self robin. anger is pointless."

"watever..." rabin said as he walked out of raven's room. starfire flew up to him and said, "robin! have you-"

but robin cut her off, "shut up."

starfire looked at robin as he walked to his room. Robin entered his room and as soon as he did he fell to the floor and clutched his head.

Robin: Leave me alone!

voice: no.

robin: what do you want? who are you?

voice: to destroy you and that pathetic little starfire. and my name is verno.

robin: i'll tell the titans who you are and you'll never get away w/ this!

verno: on the contrary robin. starfire wont be the one to kill the titans..... you will.

robin: *gasps* then why are you toying w/ starfire?

verno: b/c she has been a thorn in my side since the moment she was born. im tired of that petty princess. and since you are the one she has feelings for, YOU shall be the one to kill her.

robin: you wont get away w/ this!

verno: oh i think i will robin, b/c.... i already have 85% control of your body.... someones coming!

cyborg knocked on robins door, "robin? robin? you okay?"

robin opened the door and looked at him emotionless, "go away."

starfire knocked on the door, "robin? friend? please talk to me???"

robin opened the door and smiled evilly. [:evil:] "starfire, come in." starfire smiled nervously and entered robin's room as robin or shall we say verno thought, 'it will be the last thing you ever do.....*laughs maniacly*

I love this fic! The unexpected twist is nice, but you said 85%...

The story is interesting but you could've left vemo out of the picture for at least 1 more chapter. See, vemo would still have control over Robin, but no one would know this, and Robin would be doing things that he normally wouldn't do, so not only would his teammates be worried, but he would to.

Still, I need to congratulate you on a job well done......you're good at making people laugh:D . lol. That's funny, b/c, hahahahaha. *ahem* sorry 'bout that.

CHAPTER 3

"robin? are you feeling... of the okay?" starfire said as she looked at robin who had backed her against the wall.

"never felt better!" he said as he rasied his fist. he started to bring his hand down as the alarm went off.

"ROBIN, STAR! STOP MAKING OUT! ITS TIME TO GO!!!!!" they heard BB yell up the stairs.

Star sped out of there and down and stood beside raven, and stuck very close to her as they headed out.

~~~~AT THE CRIME SCENE~~~~

"YO!!!!!! WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOIN HERE???!!!" cyborg yelled as he saw Bumble Bee and Aqualad as he drove up.

"duh! BROTHER BLOOD!" Bumble Bee said as Jinx, Mammoth, and Gizmo came out of the building.

"well, look! if it isnt STONE!!!!!" jinx said as she first caught sight of cyborg, "AND the other trader, Bumble Bee!!!! TAKE THIS!" she fired her energy at the two.

"you guys take the other two, jinx is ours!" Bumble Bee and cyborg said at the exact same time.

star glanced nervously at robin who was smirking at her. raven immeaditly(sp) launched for gizmo and aqualad and BB took mammoth. 'uh-oh' star thought as robin ran at her. she flew up and floated there. he launched his bird a rang rope and pulled her back down to the ground.

robin ran over and was about to kick her when she flew up again, tears were streaming down her face, " robin!! you are NOT of the okay anymore!" and she fired starbolts at him, and he doged every one.

he jumped up, did a flip and landed under her and yelled at raven, "RAVEN! STAR'S GONE INSANE! SHES ATTACKING ME!"

raven had already defeated gizmo and had started to help BB and Aqualad.

raven looked up and then flew over. she stood there staring at star for awhile. then she looked at robin.... then back to starfire. then she looked up and unknown to starfire, she picked up a bunch of huge objects and hurled them at her. starfire was struck hard and she fell to the ground. she sat [:eek:] up and ran to raven, "please friend! you must believe me!!!! something is wrong with robin!!!!"

"i dont believe anyone who is being controlled," raven said, picking star up telekinatically and hurling her at the wall. it knocked her unconsious and the rest of the titans continued to fight. as raven was thinking, ' i know whos being controlled. and its not starfire, but robin.... or... verno.. has to trust me if my plan is to work.' robin was having yet another arguement with verno.

verno: oh come now robin, if you just quit fighting me, this would go alot quicker.

robin: please!!!! just.... GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

verno: im so sorry robin, but i havent even put a scratch on that pathetic little &*%$#@ princess, so, my job isnt NEAR DONE.

robin: i wont let you hurt starfire!

verno: oh robin.... robin, robin, robin. i may not have hurt her physically, but mentally, shes scarred all over. i already have you AND raven on my side, so things are looking up. if you would just stop fighting me, it would go by OH SO much faster.

robin: never.

verno: fine.... we'll do this the HARD way then......


~~~~BACK AT THE TOWER~~~~

there was a knock on star's door late that night, "who is there?" star said standing near the door.

"its me, raven and cyborg. we're here to help," rave said in a very low whisper.

star opened the door and let them in, "you wish to... help? so... you dont not believe robin's lies?"

"thats because its not robin doing this. its a mind controller, bent on destroying you starfire. his name is verno," raven said.

verno. that name brought back so many memories.

raven noticed that star wasnt going to say anything and looked at be deep in thought. she looked at cyborg and then said to both of them, "i have a plan to stop verno and help robin, and this is how it goes.................."

Ugh, It's going by too fast. Slow down and describe what happened. Here's an example.

Gizmo was attacking Raven. Gizmo had just fired a ton of missiles at her but she brought up a shield of black, crackling energy, emerging unharmed. Then she threw bricks at Gizmo's metallic legs that he was using, and broke them. Then she used her powers to crush the machine on his back and sent him flying, to knock him unconcious.

"Raven, Star's gone completely insane!" Robin yelled, with a convincing tone of worry in his voice, "She's attacking me!"


Otherwise it was pretty good.

CHAPTER 4

"but..... how do you know of verno?" starfire said after raven finished explaining.

"well, when robin called me over there i was scanning his mind, because normally..... robin doesnt want help. so, unknown to him, i found verno. and decided, that i needed to fool robin..... or verno.... sorry if i hurt you," raven said looking to the ground.

"it is..... of the okay..... now that i am in the undersatnding of your brilliant plan," star said platering a fake smile on her face.

"well..... star i know your upset already, but... you need to know that everything that robin says isnt truly robin because he will probably be saying things like 'i hate you' or 'im gunna kill you' and..... well...... verno may take you up on that offer...." cyborg said as he gave star a brotherly hug.

star tried not to cry. so she said, "please..... excuse my leaving.... i need.... some of this alone time that raven speaks so highly of." and she pushed them of her room. and bawled to her hearts content. :crying:

raven went off to talk to robin and cyborg stayed planted near star's door, becoming sadder and sadder as he listened to starfire cry. :(

"robin?" raven said as she knocked on the door, "can i come in?"

"sure," said robin's voice, almost as monotoned as hers.

raven opened the door and stepped inside, "i wanted to talk to you about starfire."

robin flinched at her name and raven resisted the urge to try to beat verno, mentally of course.

robin smirked and in a completely different voice said, "so, your raven the 'master of the mind' on the team? ha.... pathetic! well, lets see who was easier to take over... robin... or raven."

raven put up a mental barrier, as well as a physical barrier.

"im not going to attack you physically..... lets take this somewhere where we cant be heard OR helped," verno said as he held up his hand and as the room started to swirl away raven saw a mass of purple dart into the room......................

~~~~IN RAVEN + VERNO'S MINDS~~~~

"raven?????" said a voice as raven opened her eyes to see her sister sitting above her. raven jumped at the sight of her.

"what are you doing here?????!!!!":confused: raven said staring at her older sister demona. she was cloaked in dark, DARK purple and smiling at raven, "well, i've been.... watching over you, and i thought you might need help, so i darted in.":anime:

"no, i have to solve this myself," raven said looking around for verno.

"tsk tsk.... raven, raven, raven..... thats why you have to meditate everyday..."

"you mean you don't?" raven said angrily pushing demona aside, and walking along the rocks that formed in front of her.

"no. i dont."

raven stopped dead in her tracks and turned to her sister, "how? our powers are out of control!"

"wrong little sister. just yours and the other sisters who haven learned to ask for help and to trust easily. and that little sister.... you havent learned. once you learn those things, you wont have to meditate everyday."

"awww.... touching," said verno's voiceas he stepped out of the shadows, "but raven was right. she has to do this on her own."

"not when im around! verno! UGH!!!!! you're the most hated demon on asrath! you were banned! so why are you messing with raven? huh? she didnt even have a choice in the matter as to if you got banned, she was to young! why are you messing with her?!"

"well, for one, shes the daughter of the one who banned me. and, two, shes friends with the stuck-up prude princess who's parents banned me from tamaran. then that little 'starfire' banned the love of my life from tamaran and THEN handed tamaran over to Galfore, my worst enemy!!!!! i hate starfire, i hate raven and i hate you demona!" verno said as he charged at them. raven studided the man. he had grey al,ost silver hair with a blood red spot in front and was well built.

he lashed out on demona who dodged every single one of his attacks.

"HOLD STILL!" verno yelled.

"make me! :p" demona said smirking.

raven picked up a few HUGE rocks and threw them at verno, careful not to hurt demona.

verno turned his attack on raven who didnt expect it and was hit hard.

"RAVEN!!!!!" demona yelled.....

~~~~~AT THE TOWER~~~~~

"raven?????!!!!!!!" cyborg and starfire said as they searched the tower, they finally came to robin's room and went inside. they saw raven, robin, and a girl that looked like like raven only..... older, longer hair and everywhere that was blue on raven was DARK purple.

"what has happened to our friends?" starfire said, becoming very concerned.

cyborg looked at his arm after scanning them, "they seem to be in a trance. maybe raven and..... this girl.... went inside of robin's head to destroy verno."

"oh.... i wish to know that my friends are okay now..." starfire said laying raven's head in her lap.

"if my scanners are right, this girl is demona..... raven's WHAT????!!!! its... her..... sister............."

"RAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!" demona yelled as raven was hit and her body started to fade away, "okay.... THATS IT! IM SICK OF FIGHTING YOU AND YOUR KIND!!!!!" she lashed out on him, firing all the energy she had at him. he struggled to stand up and smirked at her.

"you're gunna have to do better than that if you plan on getting me out of robin's mind....." he said as he ran towards her.

she felt raven transferring her power to her. 'she must be trasferring it to my physical body....' she thought as she powered up to deliver the final blow to verno. verno tried to strike her but a barrier came up around her and starfire's voice echoed, "you shall not interfere!!" verno growled and tried again and again to strike demona, but the barrier held him back.

demona opened her eyes which were glowing black and then said, "im tired of you verno..... you gladly sent you're kind to my fathers aide, and as a result... asrath was destroyed. you, your people, and my father destroyed my home and killed my mother. now its time for you to feel the pain i felt..... GOOD BYE!!!!!! AND GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!!!!!" she finally delivered a huge blast of energy that engulfed verno and he was destroyed. demona stared at the place where he was and then closed her eyes as her soul slowly returned to her body....



~~~~AT THE TOWER~~~~

raven took her hands away from demona's head as demona opened her eyes. they all looked over at robin who opened his eyes and looked over at starfire. starfire went to the farhtest corner away from robin. robin stood up and walked out and demona followed him. raven stood up to follow her, but demona turned to her and said, "no. let me talk to him alone."


"okay....." raven said as she turned to see cyborg sitting with star who was crying...................

CHAPTER 6:D

"robin?" demona said as she walked out onto the roof.

robin had positioned himself on the edge of the tower, swinging his feet back and forth like a little kid, "hey demona..... look....im not really good at this....but.....thanks."

demona smiled, "no problem." she sat down next to him and gazed out at gotham city. she glanced over at robin, whom was looking very angry, "robin...."

"ugh! i hate how i was so weak! i mean....i could talk to him....so why couldnt i stop him?" robin said as he stood up and kicked the air.

"because robin, you arent strong enough in your mental prowess. you may have physical strength, and you may be 'smart' but your mental powers arent even close to enough. it took all of mine and some of raven's powers to defeat verno. hes tough. not one to give up easily. i guess that runs in his culture" demona looked down to the ground, she had stood up and robin stopped kicking the air and looked over at her. one lone tear ran down her face and she wiped it away quickly.

"raven never told us exactly what happened....." robin said.

"thats because it was not meant to be spoken," she said as her hair went underneath her cloak and her hood went up. she only did this when she was bothered, and so she retreated into raven's room.....


~~~~STARFIRE'S ROOM~~~~~

"starfire, you HAVE to calm down, crying breaks my concentration and i cant help you if i cant concentrate," rave said as she stood up and turned to leave, "call me when you're done whimpering." she walked out and went to the living room, she found BB sitting there. she gasped. BB had NO idea what had been going on in titan's tower. he was gunna be hurt that they left him out.

she went over to the cabinets and got out the ingredientents for herbal tea. she knew that her sister was going to need it. BB looked up from the games as he heard the shuffling around.

"raven.... i feel like i've been.....out of the loop about something....." BB said and raven dropped the tea cups, she caught them before they made cantact with the floor, and she turned to BB.

"um...... well..... i cant lie to you," she started the tea, then sat down and told BB about everything that he had been left out of.

by the end, BB was sitting there, in absolute shock. as soon as raven finished he stood up and went to star's room. raven picked up the tea, and poured to cups and went up to her room, to find her sister near death on the floor, somone escaping through the huge hole in her wall.

~~~~~STAR'S ROOM~~~~~

BB ran into the room and star had almost stopped crying, he went over and comforted her, then they heard raven scream. they all got up and ran to her room, seeing raven sitting in her doorway, in total shock and they went inside and saw demona laying on the floor near death.......

robin ran in and looked at demona and almost started crying. but he recalled demona's words 'robin, you arent strong enough in your mental prowess. you may have physical strength, and you may be 'smart' but your mental powers arent even close to enough' and held them back, "come on team, we've gotta find who did this!"

cyborg, raven, and BB nodded. starfire stared at him and then flew off after the others. deciding against it and offering robin her hand.

robin looked shocked at her offer, "arent you mad at me?"

" i was..... but robin......we are.....of the greatest kind of friends......and as i have said before..... i cannot live in a world where we must fight...... so i offer you my hand of friendship, and hopefully we shall remain that way."

robin smiled and gave her his hand. not only of friendship....but his hand of love.

CHAPTER 7

cyborg shot down the wall and stepped inside the dimly lit hallway. starfire stepped up beside him, "why are we once again in hive headquaters?"

cyborg glanced around and said, "because we suspect them the most."

raven's eyes became very small as she said, "they WILL pay...."

robin glanced back at her then to beast boy. he became a dog and started sniffing out brother blood. the searched for hours on end, raven becoming even more worried as soon as she sensed her sister in the building, "demaon's here...." she whispered as she stopped. she looked left, then right, then left again and said, "this way!" and flew off. starfire grabbed robin and flew off and bb turned into a pterodactyl and picked cy up and followed them.

they reached a pair of very tall doors and raven got angry, she calmed down remembering whta her emotions could do and stepped away from the door. Cyborg came up and blasted the door. starfire joined in and soon the door was wide open.

the room was massive and they supposed was the center of the hive. there were computers and people everywhere. the people tapping away, as if the door was still in tact. there was a huge chair in the middle of the room and they saw it slowly turn around to reveal brother blood. cyborg got angry, but raven glanced over at him and he calmed down.

"well done titans...well done..." he said as he stood up. jinx, mammoth, and gizmo cam out of a door across the room and stood smirking at them. "i hope you dont plan on taking down my 3rd school now do you? because try as you might...you wont be able to."

"we've handled them before, we'll take them down again!" cyborg yelled at him.

"oh, yes... i know that...but...dear raven there wont be able to fight at all..." he said turning to jinx mammoth and gizmo. jinx and mammoth stepped apart and between them up came a black mass. the black energy blasted away from the mass and revealed dark purple cloaks and long light purple-ish hair. in front of them...stood demona...........

"DEMONA???!!!" all five of the titans yelled in unison.


"yes my dear demona has served her perpose very well," brother blood said as he turned back to the titans.


robin looked as if he were bursting at the seams with anger, "what exactly was this purpose??"


"if you dont mind master..." demona said as she took a step forward.


brother blood nodded and demona directed her attention to the titans, "well titans. I came to HIVE academy when i first came to earth. if your wondering why i chose to go with them, is because even though raven believed that we had a good relationship, i always hated her. raven has been the biggest pet peeve of mine ever since the moment she was born. she had such rare and extrordinary power, that once she was old enough to start devoloping her powers i was pushed aside. along with the rest of my sisters. we all had to bring up ourselves while raven got everything. fury and i were chosen as the leaders of our siblings since we learned to control our powers first. fury soon grew tired of watching raven get all the attention and lashed out on her. raven surpassed fury in power because of the extra training and specialists that she'd had to help her control her abilities. fury soon decided to leave asarath and start a new life as a outerspace bandit. i was left to care for all the rest of my siblings. fury was the only one who ever wanted to help me. as the days went by the hatred for raven grew and grew. but i knew that i would need her knowledge before i could defeat her. so i pretended to be a loving sister even though i was battling the side of me that wanted to reach out and kill her on the spot. all the years passed and soon, i knew everything i needed to know about ravens strengths and weaknesses and could fully use her powers. but, then... all of the sisters that I raised, that I thaught, turned against me. all except for one. they all turned to raven and became subject to her lies. delia and myself were the only ones who even wanted to harm her. delia saw raven for what she truly was. a sniviling little spoiled brat that wanted nothing more than her own personal well being. so, after raven left, delia and endured the discrimination that we recieved because of our hatred toward raven. delia... ended up...dying... the one true sister i had... they killed her... after that, i seeked out fury only to find her in jail, awaiting her death. they had stripped her of her powers and there was nothing i could do to help.


"so... i came to earth. i had heard of slade's great power and seeked him out, keeping myself hidden in the shadows. only to find that he too, had been killed... by a friend of raven's. everyone that i cared for had been killed or taken away from me... by raven. i soon heard of this place... HIVE academy. and knew that they could help me destroy my sister. he didnt believe me at first and thought that i was another spy sent by the titans to destroy his school. so, i had to prove myself. i had to go to titans tower and 'help' robin with his problem. i said that i'd been watching over you raven, and in truth i have. ive been waiting for the moment that i could kill you....and that day has finally come. its time for you to pay for all the horrible things you have done to me. i will get you for taking fury away, for delia dying....for every little thing you did....." demona lunged at raven and soon it was a full course battle.


the rest of the team started to intervene, but jinx, mammoth, and gizmo all distracted them while demona forced raven into another room.


demona hit raven with a huge blast of black energy which caught raven off guard. she sat up and held her head. demona walked over and said, "the battle of destiny is on LITTLE sister..........."

okay ya'll im really sorry if this sucks. as you know i just got back from vaca and i just recovered from sdd. so... bear with me.


CHAPTER 9

Raven sits in Starfire's room Star desperately trying to help her. Demona, Raven's older sister and best friend... had just betrayed them... and now... shes dead.

"Raven it will be-" Star started, but was cut off.

"I killed her Starfire. No matter how much she hated me... she was my sister. And I killed her. Nothing can EVER make that okay," Raven said as she flew out of the room.

Starfire's eyes grew very sad as she continued to sit there and think about all the things that had taken place at HIVE Academy.(sp) She sighed as she layed down on her bed that matched her clothes and slowly drifted off to sleep.

~~A FEW HOURS LATER~~
Starfire sat up and looked around. She sighed and wondered, 'Why am I still having that dream?'

In the living room, she sat on the couch and asked herself if she should ignore the nightmare, or tell raven. She looks out the window and saw that it was nighttime, "Oh..." she sighed, "Another night of having no sleep..."

"Whay would you not be sleeping?" said a voice behind her. The voice had a STORNG southern accent that made it sound familiar.

She whipped around to see Terra standing there, "TERRA!"

Terra smiled at her and said, "I take it you're glad to see me!" She stopped smiling, "Thats suprising... after what I did to you..."

Starfire hopped over the couch and hugged her long lost friend, "Oh, I have missed you very, very much Terra!"

"Well... you wanna talk? I can tell that theres somethin wrong."

Terra had always been able to that, "Yes... I need someone to talk to other than.... The others..."

"Well, thats what I'm here for!"

They both sat down on the couch and Starfire told Terra all about the things that had been going on.

When she finished, Terra looked deep in thought. She got up and walked out of the living room. Starfire followed her. They reached Terra's room's doors and Terra turned to Star.

"When you wake up," Terra said looking frantic, "go in here..." She opens the doors and finds that nothing in her room had been touched... except the bed... It looked as if someone had been laying on it, but that didn't matter right now... She didn't have alot of time, "And find a jewel."

Starfire was extremely confused, "What do you mean 'wake up'? I am of the awake already!"

Terra shook her head as she frantically searched, "No... this is a dream Star... well, its not really a dream... I came to meet you in your sleep. To give you a pendant like thing..."

Terra continued to search as Starfire proccessed all this information.

"FOUND IT!" Terra exclaimed as she held up a stone that hung off the end of a silver neclacke, "This stone is the thing that can help you Star. When you wake up you have to find it...okay?" Terra placed the stone in Starfire's hands. The stone that was once a light blue like Terra's eyes was now purple, like Starfire's outfit.

"May we talk again soon?" Starfire asked as she looked up at Terra.

Terra smiles, "Whenever you feel like it."

Suddenly starfire sat up in her real bed and she looked around, "I am... not dreaming anymore?" She got up and went to Terra's room and found the necklace almost immeadiately. She put it on as the color changed. She looked around the room. 'Now that we have destroyed all our enemies... maybe we could awaken Terra... Oh, I miss her so...' Star thought as she left the room.

She entered the living room to the smell of bacon and the sound that had become so familiar to her... Cyborg and BB fighting over breakfast.

CHAPTER 10

Starfire spent most of the day in her room. Anticipating going to sleep so that she could talk to Terra. She jumped at the knock on the door.

She yelled, "Who is there?"

And the person answered, "It's me... Beast Boy. Can I come in?"

Starfire thought about then decided to let him in.

He sat down on the floor, leaning his back against her bed, "Can I tell you something Star?"

She nods.

"Last night... Terra was in my dreams..."

Starfire's head, which had been resting on her knees that were drawn up to her chest, shot up and looked down at him.

"It was like she was really there... She told me that Raven was going to be going through bad times..."

"Beast Boy... Terra was present in my dreams also. She is the one who gave me the necklace that hangs around my neck."

Beast Boy looked at it then says, "Should we tell the others?"

Starfire shakes her head fastly, "Not until I have found the powers of this necklace... They may want to ask questions that I do not know the answers to..."

Beast Boy nods, "Ya... I guess you're right. Okay then, it's settled! It's our little secret until we get more info!"

"Um... Beast Boy... If you do not mind... What did Terra tell you in your sleep land?"

Beast Boy paused. He pondered for a minute... then finally said, "Well... She told me... basically that she was sorry for everything she did... and that... She... She loved me..." With that Beast Boy gave a huge smile.

Starfire smiled also. BUt inside she was pondering if Robin would be happy that they were consulting with Terra...

A very interesting story to say the least. The plot is good, you have good cliff hangers, your writing shows gradual signs of improvement, you have ammassed yourself a large fanbase, and the purple text is much easier on the eyes against a grey background than the sharp contrast with white.

CHAPTER 11

That night, Starfire went to sleep early.

~~IN HER DREAM~~

She finds herself in a empty room. Nothing but black surrounding her, "Hello? Terra? I seek your knowledge..."

She hears footsteps and turns to see Terra standing in front of her, "Whats up?"

"I seek knowledge about the necklace," Starfire grasps the necklace as she says this.

Terra smiled, "That's what I figured. Well, its called the Terashat crystal and it was given to me by a Terashataue master when I was traveling. It creates mental and spiritual balance, to where you can focus and help others. Get my drift?"

Starfire stares blanlky at her for a minute.

"Do you get why I gave it to you?" Terra says rephrasing her last question to where Starfire might understand her.

"No... I am sorry... I do not..." Starfire said as she shook her head.

"I gave it to you so that you could help Raven! I'm not exactly mobile... so, I found a way to get to YOU so that I could get it to YOU. ONLY YOU or RAVEN can use it okay?"

Starfire nodded and then said, "So this necklace shall help me, help Raven."

Terra nodded, "Yep... pretty much."

Starfire imagined her room, and the darkness around them changed into her room. She plopped down on the bed and Terra sat on the floor, leaning against the bed, just like Beast Boy did, "Starfire? When will I... When will I be able to move again... In the real world."

Starfire thought about it, "We have just now defeated all of our enemies, so we may now begin to work on a way to bring you back friend."

Terra smiled happily, "I'll be so glad to walk again... to smell, feel, touch! All the sensations that I can't have now."

Starfire stared at her friend sadly and said, "I will help them Terra. I wish for you to be restored."

"Thanks Star... Bye!"

Starfire looked at her, only to be jolted awake by the scream of Raven....

allright, here's the point where I make a prediction only to find out later I was pretty far off. My prediction is this...Raven and Starfire had similar dreams, but something in hers was so radically different that it jolted her awake with a scream.

CHAPTER 12

"RAVEN!!!!!!!!" Robin yelled as he ran to her room, all the rest of the titans, minus Raven were desperately trying to open her door. Even Cyborg couldn't get it to open.

Starfire seemed extremely worried, fiddling with the pendant that she had gotten from Terra.

Suddenly the door fell open, followed by a burst of orange light. Starfire glanced inside the room, and gasped at what she saw, she saw her other older sister, Sunfire, standing there, her brunette hair blowing in the wind then landing over her yellow shirt.

"SUNFIRE?!" Starfire yelled in utter suprise.

"Star!" she yelled turning to Starfire, "It's not what it looks like! I just got here!"

Raven stepped out from behind her, looking in a state of utter terror at the other Titans. She was shaking slightly and clung onto Sunfire's arm.

"What are you doing here sister?" Starfire said stepping into Raven's room, Raven flinching at her movement.

"I came to check on an old friend of mine, only to find her in this state," Sunfire said patting off the dust on her red skirt.

Starfire looked back at Robin, Beast Boy and Cyborg, whom were all drooling over Sunfire. She saddened the turned back to Raven, she was still shaking and seemed to be totally out of order. Her cape was still off, and her hair was a mess, not the normal Raven...

Raven noticed the necklace that Starfire was wearing and smiled very weakly, whispering something to Sunfire.

"Okay, Rae. Could me, Raven, and Star have some privacy?" Sunfire said, tapping on a small device that was attached to her wristband, it transforming into a small silver handheld device which she pressed another button and a cup of herbal tea appeared. Once the boys were out of the room, Star, Sn, and Raven, sitting closer to Sun than Star, all took a seat.

"Star... something horrible is happening... Raven has seen it in her dreams and thats whats made her so..." Sun said, glancing over at Raven who was shaking again.

"In, the dream, none of the Titans could stop this thing from happening, but... that neckalce hanging around your neck..." Sun said pointing to it.

Starfire grabbed it and could feel a strange energy radiating off of it.

Sun rested her hands on her legs, which were covered by her orange boots, "Is the only thing that can stop it..."

yery interesting. Too short, but very good otherwise. probably the best way to lengthen the chapters is to put in a good bit more detail. for example instead of saying she had brown hair, say she had long flowing brown hair which draped down to her waist and seemed to glimmer in the moonlight. it will make the stories not only longer, but the added detail will make the images much more vivid and will atract new readers. Give it a try!

CHAPTER 13

The small device started to twirl at an unbelievable rate, Beast Boy, Sunfire, Starfire, and Raven all stood in pure amazement as the small girls hardened layers slowly started to shed. Finally, their friend would be restored to them. Raven was still a little on edge, and had a problem with clinging to Sunfire.

Sunfire and Raven seemed to have some kind of history with each other, but refused to tell anyone else. It annoyed everyone to great lengths, especially Robin. Being the very protective leader he was, and the history that Starfire's siters had, he had a problem with trusting Sunfire.

"Ugh..." came a small groan from their long petrified friend. She looked up, glanced around, gave a weak smile, and dropped unconsious. Beast Boy and Starfire both ran over to her and lifted her from the ground.

~~A FEW DAYS LATER~~

"BEAST BOY!" Starfire yelled at the top of her lungs, signs were showing that she was gunna wake up any second now. They had been waiting for the past few days for Terra to wake up.

"Okay, Beast Boy, remember, she may still be... evil," Robin said, trying not to insult him.

"Dude, you have NO idea how wrong you are!" Beast Boy said, his voice on the verge of utter fury.

"How can you be so sure?!"

Beast Boy glances over at Starfire, she looks as nervous as Beast Boy.

"We know these things Robin, please be the good friend that I am sure that you can be and trust Beast Boy and I. We know," Starfire said stepping in and saving Beast Boy.

They heard a small groan and Beast Boy dashed into the Med room and smiled when he saw her struggling to sit up. He ran over and wrapped his arms around her lightly.

"I thought I would never see you again," she whispers weakly as she hugs him back.

"I'll always be with you. Beacause I love you Terra."

CHAPTER 14

"Come on Terra!" Beast Boy yelled up to Terra's room, that she'd been settled into for awhile.

Sunfire had been walking down the hallways and came upon Terra's room where she heard Terra and Starfire talking...

"Sunfire... your sister knows the powers of the necklace..." Terra's voice came almost clearly through the door.

"It would seem so, she knew what it's powers were, though she refrained for telling me," Starfire's voice said.

The truth was, Sunfire knew only that the necklace was the only thing that could save them, she didn't know the powers. She listened intently as terra continued, "Well the powers are..."

"TERRA! STAR! SUN! WE GOTTA GO!" Beast Boy's voice rang through the hallways.

"Ugh!" Sunfire groaned as she flew down the hallway.

Starfire stepped out of Terra's room with Terra at her side, Terra whispering, "I'll tell you later."

Star picked Terra up and flew to the main room, halting noticing all the people in the tower.

"WOAH!" Terra exclaimed over all the noise.

"TITANS!" came Robin's voice, dominating all the others, "Let's go!"

And one by one, all the people started filing out. Starfire and Terra named all the people as the filed out, "Raven, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Sunfire, Robin, Wildebeest, Hot Spot, Speedy, Bumble Bee, Aqualad, Mas y Menos," they turned to each other, "Terra and Starfire..."

Terra shook her head, "That's alot of people!"

"I believe it is the earthly number 14..." Starfire said smiling. Terra smiles also then they file out with everyone else.

~~~~ARRIVAL AT THE SCENE~~~~

"Terra... Where's Terra?!" Robin shouted at Beast Boy.

Beast Boy looked around the crowd, and then pointed to her. Robin made his way over and placed a hand on her shoulder, "Terra, be aware, because..."

They heard the metal clanging that Terra never wanted to hear again...

The fog revealed a dark character, that was walking towards them, their hands tucked behind them.

"TITANS, READY! Especially you Terra," Robin says.

Terra readied herself for someone she never wanted to see...

Out of the fog... stepped Slade...

CHAPTER 15

"No!" Terra yelled, "I defeated you!" Terra was backed into a corner in a secluded warehouse where the Titans couldn't help her.

"Now, now Terra, did you honestly think that YOU could defeat ME?" Slade said his eye shrinking to glare at her.

"If you came back for me, you might as well give up! I'm not ever gunna work for you! EVER! The nueral interface was-"

"Terminated?" Slade said, fifnishing her sentence, "Oh no my dear, quite the opposite. After you supposedly defeated me you turned to stone. While you were incased in the earth that your powers draw so heavily on, the nueral interface was strengthened. YOU are MINE."

"NO!!!" Terra screamed as she felt him trying to take over her body.

"Yes," Slade hissed, "You will be my apprentice, you will destroy the Teen Titans, and you WILL like it."

"TERRA!" came two voices from behind Slade. Beast Boy and Starfire.

"GO!" Terra yelled at them while clutching onto her head, "I don't wanna hurt you guys!" The tears were streaming down her face, this was all too familiar...

"Terra, I'm not gunna let you go this time!" Beast Boy said, his voice breaking and eyes welling up with tears, "I'm not gunna let you leave me again!"

Terra wrapped her arms around Beast Boy, giving him a small hug. Starfire stood behind Beast Boy.

"I don't have time for this, Terra attack!" Slade said sternly.

"NO!" Terra screamed as blue electric shocks surrounded her.

"Star... fire... the necklace... use it... to stop... the end... of... the world... i'm sorry that I... couldn't... help..." Terra struggled to say those last few words before her eyes flashed yellow and the ground under them cracked open.

"TERRA!" Beast Boy yelled the tears running down his face.

Starfire shot up in the air, tears brimming her eyes, "I shall get you back friend. I promise."

Beast Boy transformed into a bird and followed Star out of the building.

Slade smiled underneath his mask, "Once again, the city shall be mine." He held his hand up as it glowed bright red, "With Terra's powers and mine combined, we will be unstoppable!"

'I won't do it!' Terra screamed in his head.

"Oh yes you will..." Slade said as he stepped out of the building, watching the battle across the city, "Not long now... Not long..."

The best part of any chapter to date. period. Sentimental, yet filled to the brim with hatred and remorse. The two most conflicting emotions mix resulting in a shower of sparks :D (no pun intended). And that was just a snippet of the chapter! :cool:

CHAPTER 16 (haha told you!)

"TERRA! ATTACK!" Slade yelled to Terra, whose eyes glowed a bright yellow and slammed her fists into the ground, the yellow light seperating the concrete and surrounding the Titans. The concrete below them started to fall. Each Titan foun their own way to get out.

"Terra! How could you?!" Robin yelled to her.

"Robin!" Yelled Starfire from behind him, "She is not doing this willingly! Slade is controlling her!"

"Terra!" Slade yelled.

Terra fazed into the ground and Robin looked around.

"Slade!" BB said turning into a T-Rex and trying to clench Slade in his mighty jaw. He transforms back to normal, "Let her go!"

"Aww... Now, it was you I was expecting to do this. But I think I'll keep her in my captivity," Slade said, quite content with himself.


"You SICKEN me! You're supposed to be BIG BAD SLADE!" BB said, slinging his arms around in frustration, "But you always hide behind one of your workers! Whether it be Terra, Cinderblock, Plasmus, Overlaod, or even Robin, you're always hiding behind them, relying on their strength! Sending THEM to do YOUR dirty work! "For someone who appears to have such a small brain, you think to much..." Slade said.

BB groaned as he was hit to the ground by Terra who had appeared behind him.

'Beast Boy! Help!' Terra screamed in his head.

"Woah..." BB said, amazed that he had heard her in his brain.

'Don't let Slade know I can do this! If he does, all means of communication will be cut off!' Terra said worriedly.

BB nodded as Terra threw a ounch at him. He grabbed her hand, "Come on Terra! Fight him!"

'I'm trying Beast Boy!' Terra said.

"Terra!" Slade yelled as he noticed Terra started becoming harder and harder to control.

"As I told you before," Terra said softly. Her head, which had beem hanging, shot up with bright yellow eyes, "YOU CAN'T CONTROL ME ANYMORE!!!!!!!!"

BB smiled and stepped over to stand beside her. The ground below them started to shake. There were electrical sparks flying all around Terra's body, but she continued foreward.

"Terra..." Starfire whispered softly as all the Titans entered, having defeated all of Slade's sentinels.

Slade seemed to be struggling to gain control again but Robin stopped him by yelling, "TITANS! ATTACK!"

"You have nothing to hide behind now Slade!" Beast Boy yelled at him as the battle began...

Whether it be Terra, Cinderblock, Plasmus, Overlaod, or even Robin, you're always hiding behind them, relying on their strength! Sending THEM to do YOUR dirty work! Awsome! you put a TON of time in to that part, I can tell. When one of the characters gives a short speach as such, it is an authors true moment to shine, and shine you did! you intigrated it into later parts of the chapter which is another major thing that you did well. Good Job!:zim: :cool:

CHAPTER 17 (HAHA! BOOYA!)

"Slade was right! This is the hardest neural interface I've ever come up against!" Cyborg says to the weeping red head beside him.

"When have you faced another interface?" Star asked.

Cyborg stopped clicking on the computer and looked up at her, "Uh... that wasn't the point..."

"Oh..." Star said plopping down onto a huge grey computer chair beside him.

The air around the wreeked of sadness and pain, but the remaining Titans tried to keep their chins up.

Raven slams her fist onto the table in front of her, "I should have been able to feel that bond! I-"

"RAVEN!" Sunfire and Robin yeled at the same time.

"Calm down, anger at yourself will solve nothing, and it will just waste your energy. Right now, we need to focus on helping on the injured in the medical room, Sunfire said calmly.

Raven inhaled deeply, retracting all her pain, sorrow and anger, "You're right. Let's go."

Cyborg looked up at Raven, "You can go in and start healing, me and Robin will keep on working on the nueral interface."

"Even though Robin should be resting!" Star said crossly.

Raven walked over to a weary Robin, she lifted her hand to him as it started to glow a soft grey color, she placed her hand near his heart and Robin wasfully awake, aware and ready for anything.

Starfire fell back into her seat, "I give of the up..."

Raven smiled lightly as she continued into the med room. So many injured people lay before her. Beast Boy, Speedy, Mas y Menos, Aqualad, Bumble Bee, Hot Spoy, Wildebeest, but most of all Terra all lay unconsious before her, "I've got alot of work to do..." Rave whispered as her hands started to glow.

Outside the med room, Sun was talking to Star, "If Terra isn't revived without the interface, we'll never know the capabilities of that necklace."

"What I wanna know is how Slade got those powers," Robin said as Cyborg nodded beside him.

"Ya! I mean, how does a guy survive falling into lava, then come back to life with that kinda power?!"

Sun shook her head, "I don't know... But what I do know is that it's linked to Raven, and by simply destroying Slade will not stop what ever is in store for her."

Robin looked at the floor, "Slade got those powers from an unknown source to us. The neckalce is what helped in the battle to destry Slade. So... maybe it can lead us to whoever is doing this."

"Maybe..." Sun said looking through the small window on the door to the med room at Raven and Terra, "Just maybe..."

hey! i'm finally gunna post the next chapter! yay! here goes nuthin!

CHAPTER 18

"Wha-?" Terra said sitting up, "Where am I?"

Starfire flew over to her, "Friend! You are awakened!'

"Uh... Who are you?" Terra said, tilting her head to ther side in question.

Starfire shrunk back in hurt, "Robin..." Starfire squeaked, "She does not... remember..."

All the titans stared at her. Sunfire started to shake, "No... without her memeories, we won't know the full extent of the necklace..."

Raven and Starfire turned to her. Starfire looked down at the necklace and said, "We must know... but...." She turns to Terra, "She does not remember..."

"Remember what?" Terra said, becoming frustrated, "Who are you people? Where am I? Why am I here? WHAT'S GOING ON?!"

"We are the Teen Titans, you are at Titans Tower, you are here because... well, you'll find that out... and at the moment, we have NO idea what's going on..." Cyborg answered.

Sunfire noticed all of the sudden that Beast Boy hadn't said a word in this, "Uh... Beast Boy?" She said turning and looking for the green man among the crowd. Noticing that there was nothing green at all in the crowd except Robin's pants... That didn't count. It wasn't a person.

"Beast Boy?" Terra said, "That sounds familiar."

Robin immeadiately turned and said to all the Titans, "Spread out, find Beast Boy. If anybody finds him, tell him to bring anything and everything that he has that might spark Terra's memory. Titans, GO!"

Raven starts out the room but robin stops her, "Raven! Stay here and try to access any memory banks in Terra's mind, don't open them because all of the memories at once may hurt her, so just crack them, make it easier for her to remember."

Raven nods and goes back to Terra, "This won't hurt," Raven said softly taking off her hood and holding her hands up on either side of Terra's head, "Now... don't fight me..."

Terra's muscles relaxed and her breath normaled and Raven said, "Azrath... Metrione... Zinthos," The zinthos was long and dragged out as a black raven emerged from Raven's head and zoomed into Terra's.

__________*MEANWHILE IN THE TOWER*__________

"Beast Boy? It is I, Starfire, please friend, I seek your help!" Starfire yelled floating into Beast Boy's room.

"Star... does she... is she?" Beast Boy said, stepping out from behind a pile of... whatever it was that was laying all over the floor.

"We are in need of your assistance. Terra seems to have a slight memory of you and we are in the thinking that you might be able to make her remember. Will you help?"

Beast Boy nods and says, "I'll be down in a minute."

__________ *IN TERRA'S MIND*__________

Raven stands up, clinging to her cape, in Terra's mind. She stands in a dimly lit hallway and shudders at how cold and distant she feels all of the sudden. The hallway was disoriented, with lights hanging out of their hinges and peices of the wall fallen out and shattered all over the ground. Terra's mind had been badly abused and battered. Raven walked down the long hallway looking at the various picture frames 'hanging' on the walls. they were all either crooked or the glass was shattered.

The only picture that was hanging straight and perfectly neat was a memory that raven had never thought would have happened. Raven reached up and touched the golden frame of the picture and it started to move. It showed Terra and Beast Boy leaning in for a kiss, then Slade stepping in and the glass shatters.

Raven smiled, as she thought to herself 'So, Terra DID have feelings for him.'

She continued down the hall after fixing the mirror and came to her objective. She looked up at the sign above the hall she was entering, the sign read, "Hall of Shame"

She ran her hand across the wall and fixed the cracks in it, as she had done her whole way through. She noticed that all the frames in this hall were black, indicating that they had been forgotten. Raven reached up to them and they turned white. Meaning that they could be remembered after a little push.

Suddenly she heard Terra say, "Beast Boy?" And knew that it was time to leave. She concentrated and as she left as a whiz of black energy she saw a frame that hung in the hall of shame that said, "Betraying Raven."

The one that seemed especially good was the intricacy of the inside of terra's mind, with the hall of memories, and all the picture frames. it was truely well writen! Be Proud of it! :)

CHAPTER 19

"Beast Boy?" Terra says, a few seconds later Raven flew out of her head and stared at her. Terra watched as Raven flew silently out of the room.

Now it was just Terra and Beast Boy, "Terra," Beast Boy started, "I... I'm here to help you-"

"Remember?" said Slade's voice from Terra's mouth, "I am not in need of your assistance. Terra is mine, now and forever. You will never get her back."

At that, Terra stood up from the bed and then disappeared engulfed by flames.

"TERRA!" Beast Boy said running over to where she disappeared.

Just then Raven ran in and said, "What happened?!"

Beast Boy turned to her, "The neural interface obviously wasn't deleted by the time she woke up, and Slade had completely overtaken her... she disappeared in the flames of that weird power that Slade got."

Raven looked away as a red "S" sign appeared on her forehead, "No..." She shook her head violently and then it went away. She turned back to Beast Boy, "We'll help her." And started out the door to find robin.

"Raven?" Beast Boy said. Raven stopped and turned her head to him, "Why do you want to help her?"

"Because. I know the deepest secrets of her mind, some worse than she ever told you, and I honestly don't think that she ever served Slade, but was controlled by him the whole time," Raven stated and walked out.

_________*MEANWHILE*__________

"But Robin, what if we cannot help her? What if something horrible happens?" Starfire asks.

"We will Star, don't worry-" Robin started but was cut off by a voice from the med room.

"ROBIN!" Raven yelled from the direction of the med room. Robin and Starfire started off for the med room, gathering everyone that ran into on the way.

Robin skidded into the med room hallway and saw Raven and Beast Boy standing there without Terra, "What happened?"

Beast Boy looked up and said, "The neural interface wasn't fully terminated, so Slade took full control and Terra disappeared."

"We have to find her!" Sunfire said.

Raven, whoms eyes were shut and hadn't said a word through this whole conversation opened her eyes and lashed out, "WE KNOW THAT!"

Everyone stared at Raven, she had never lashed out at Sunfire before. Raven pulled her hood up and said, "Let's just begin the search."

Everyone started to get ready to leave for the city, but Robin pulled Raven aside, "Raven, something happened while you were in Terra's mind, didn't it?"

Raven took her eyes off the ground and looked directly at Robin, "She didn't want to betray us. She didn't want to hurt us. Slade found her and forced her to, the neural interface is to much for her weak mind to take. We have to help her Robin."

Robin nods, taking in all the information, "We will, Raven. Don't worry."

__________*MEANWHILE WITH TERRA*__________

Terra sat up in a feild of flowers, "Huh? Beast Boy?" She stood up and walked around. The air had that wonderful aroma of flowers that made her feel safe and secure. But then there was something about this place that seemed so fake. A blue bird flew up and landed on Terra's shoulder and she stroked it gently.

Terra continued walking with the blue bird on her shoulder till she came to a river and sat down on a hill beside it underneath a shady tree, "This seems so fake..." She said to the blue bird that was now perched on her knee, "I want to see Beast Boy again, but i don't know if this is the real world or fake." She lowered her head, "I don't know what's going on anymore."

The blue bird chirped a sad note as if to say hes sorry.

Terra lifted her head to him, "It's okay... this kinda reminds me of a song..." Terra closed her eyes, "Well, it does if this is a dream."

The bird turned black and nodded as if to say this is a dream.

Terra was frightened by the birds change of color and it's eyes which reminded her of someone she lost a long time ago. Raven.

"This world is crazy... my dreams are fading... no one can save me... i want my life... and when i wake up you'll be here... and it will be the way it was" Terra laid down on her side as the bird chirped again and she sung the final line of the song, "The way it was..." *

Terra jolted up in the real world, "Ugh..." she said rubbing her head, "So it was a dream." She stood up in the lobby of a great business organization. She walked over to the desk where the receptionist was supposed to be, assuming that she was bending over or something, Terra leaned up over the desk and saw the receptionist's dead body there, eyes wide open staring at her, "AH!" Terra screamed and jumped back, tripping over something and falling. She looked up and saw that dead bodies were falling into whatever it was that she was trapped in.

"Oh my god..." Terra said, her voice taken over by terror. She ran to a wall and punched it, it became transparent when she punched it and saw Slade standing there, his eye concentrated on her and his arms folded behind his back. This scared her and she stumbled backwards. She plopped onto the floor know that even if she escaped this place, she could not fend off Slade on her own, "Starfire... Beast Boy... Raven..." She said as tears rolled down her face, "Please come help me soon..."

It woould appear so! excelent work! there are only a few minor mistakes in things like spelling and usage, but frankly, they are the kind of mistakes that you do not notice unless you are specificly looking for them. The progression in you writing skills has jumped by leaps and bounds. CHAPTER 20 (WOO HOO! partay!!!)

"They won't be coming anytime soon my dear," Slade's voice said, "They probably don't even WANT to save you."

"No!" Terra shook her head, "I was going to help them! Star, Raven, AND Beast Boy all knew it! They would... they would help me!"

"Look around you," Slade said coming into Terra's 'prison', "Don't you wonder where all these bodies came from?"

Terra's eyes widened, "No! You didn't-!"

"Of course not," Slade said his eyes narrowing, "You did."

Terra's hert skipped three beats, "NO!" She fell to her knees and clutched her head, holding back the tears, "NO!"

"They'll never come for you now..."

"Yes they will! You'll... you'll see! They... they know that you were controlling me!" Terra said, tears making silent streams down her face.

Slade said nothing but turned and left the lobby/ prison cell.

Tears continued to fall down Terra's face as she whispered, "They have to... I don't wanna fight anymore..."

__________*MEANWHILE*__________

"Robin, she didn't do it! I know she didn't!" Beast Boy yelled.

"We can't be sure Beast Boy, she killed 30 INNOCENT people! We have to be careful as to what we do now," Robin said back.

"Robin... She didn't do it," Raven said, "I know she didn't." Raven thought back to the last picture frame that she saw in Terra's mind, "She wouldn't do this."

"How can you be so sure?" Robin said, "I mean, i know she never wanted to betray us, but what if she really did this time."

"I felt in Beast Boy's mind... and there is no evil in the bond between the two. So therefore, she isn't. Is that good enough?"

Robin stared at Raven for a moment, then thrust himself back into his chair, "Okay, we go out to find her tomorrow morning."

__________*MEANWHILE*__________

Sunfire inhaled a deep sigh of cool night air as her long brown hair floated gently in the wind, "Terra..."

Sunfire felt a comforting hand on her shoulder and turned to see Speedy, "You okay?"

"I... I guess so... I just... I'm worried about Terra. I know she wouldn't do that, and Slade has complete control over her," Sun fire said turning away from him.

Speedy looked out at the moon and didn't make Sunfire turn around, "Terra is a strong girl. She'll be fine. All she needs is a little help. And that's what all of us are here for, to help her."

Sunfire turned back to him, "Thank you Speedy."

He smiled, "Anything for an old friend."

They both laughed and then hugged each other. They stood embracing each other for a moment then looked into each others eyes and shared a gentle kiss.

"It's been so long..." Speedy said after they broke apart.

Sunfire layed her head on Speedy's shoulder, "But we're together now. And that's all that matters to me."

"I guess it's no use, I'm screwin' up every little thing I ever tried to do, I'm born to lose..." Terra sang, her knees folded up to her chest, rocking back and forth while tears fell down her face, "God must hate me, just before enternity, God must hate me, maybe you should pray for me. I'm breakin' down and you can't save me, I'm stuck in hell and... I WANNA GO HOME..."*

Slade's laugh echoed into her cell, "You'll never escape me. Now it's time for battle Terra."

"NO!" Terra screamed as her vision became black...

__________*20 MINUTES LATER*__________

"TERRA NO!" Raven said, creating a barrier around Terra and flying over, "Please Terra, listen to me! I can help you, but you have to fight Slade!"

Terra smirked and reached through the barrier, grasping Raven's neck firmly.

"Ter...ra... St...op..." Raven choked out.

"The message will be delivered..." Slade's voice said out of Terra. Terra brought Raven close to her and whispered in her ear, 'What you have concealed you shall become."

Raven's eyes grew wide as she struggled harder and harder to free herself.

"Sorry Terra," came Robin's voice as Robin came down and kicked her in the side, releasing Raven.

Raven flew up into the air and put her hands around her neck, gasping for air, "Please Terra! Fight It!"

Terra's eyes stopped glowing yellow for a second as Terra's voice came, "RAVEN HELP ME! I DON'T WANNA FIGHT ANYMORE!"

"Shut up," Slade said as Terra's eyes started glowing again.

Beast Boy ran up and seized Terra around the waist, "Come on Terra! Please!"

Starfire flew up and held the necklace in front of her, "Don't you remember?"

"Soon there won't be a Terra, her soul evaporates with every moment that I spend in control, soon she will just be an empty shell," Slade said and then Terra's body started glowing red and she pushed Beast Boy off and struck Starfire.

"Terra..." Beast Boy said as he slowly got off the ground, "I know you can fight him! Come on!"

Terra's body shook, "Please... help me..."

Raven became a black raven and flew directly into Terra's head.

Terra stood up and her eyes turned white, "Let's see how Slade likes someone else taking his space."

Terra collapsed and Beast Boy layed her head in his lap...

_________*IN TERRA'S HEAD*__________

"So, Raven, you think you can defeat me?" Slade said, turning to her.

"No," Raven stated as her eyes turned white, "But that doesn't mean I can't try!"

Black energy surrounded Slade as Raven threw him into the wall, "Ugh!"

"Terra doesn't deserve any of this!" Raven said, floating over to where he was, "So leave her alone and let her battered mind heal!"

Slade smirked as his hand became flames, "I don't think so," he reached out to grab Raven's shoulders but she formed a barrier.

Raven flew up and a black ball of energy formed at her hands, she took her hands back and then thrust them forward, sending the ball flying at Slade.

He tried to move, but was to late, the ball hit him head on.

Raven again took her hand back, but thrust them in a pattern, left right, left right, so on, black energy knifes flying out of her hands.

All except three hit Slade, "Ugh..."

Raven went to Slade and stood over him, "I should kill you now..." But instead she grabbed him and disappeared from Terra's mind...

__________*BACK IN THE REAL WORLD*__________

"Raven?!" Robin said as she came out with Slade in her hand, dragging behind her.

"What should we do with him?" Raven said.

"We should kill him," Beast Boy said, his eyes narrowing and shaking his fist.

"I think that would be the safest thing to do," Sunfire said from behind them all.

Robin nodded, "Raven go ahead."

Raven looked at Slade and right before she broke his neck he said, "The prophecy will be fufilled..."

"I don't know if thats such a good idea..." Sunfire said looking Starfire directly in the eyes.

"We must know though sister! If we do not, then we cannot help Raven!" Starfire said standing up.

Sunfire looked out the window in Starfire's room, "I know, and helping Raven is what I'm here for. The necklace definitely has something to do with stopping the prophet of Raven's birth from happening."

"Then we must ask Terra when she wakes up! If we do not..." Starfire gulped.

Sunfire again looked at her younger sister, "I know... We'll... We'll just have to be careful when asking Terra. According to Raven her mind is very fragile and by losing her memory... She may die."

Starfire fell onto her bed, "Why may she die?"

Sunfire sighed, "Terra has alot of horrible memories, and by her mind being fragile, redrawing all those horrible memories may be too much for her mind to take and she could die."

"Oh...my poor friend..." Starfire said as a lone tear ran down her face.

__________*MEANWHILE*__________

"Okay... again..."Raven said to Terra.

"Raven... Beast Boy... Robin.... Cyborg..." She said as she pointed to each person.

Raven smiled, "Good. Okay... now... what is your name?"

Terra thought for a moment then hesitantly said, "Taren?"

Raven shook her head softly, "No... Terra..."

Terra looked at her feet, "Am I ever gunna get this right?"

Raven again smiled and said, "It'll just take time. Now... where are you?"

Terra looked around, "Hospital?"

Raven thought for a minute and said to Robin, "I think we need to get her out of this room. Get her to the living room maybe."

Robin nodded and headed out the door with Cyborg.

Terra attempted to stand up but fell, "Ooff..."

Beast Boy ran over to her and picked her up, "I'll carry you. You're to weak right now... You can try again later."

Terra nodded and rested her head on Beast Boy's shoulder.

Beast Boy followed Raven out the door and into the living room where he placed her gently on the couch, then sat down beside her.

Raven crossed her legs and hovered in the air in front of Terra, "Okay, now answer me, where are you?"

"Titans Tower..." Terra said looking out at the sea and towards the city.

Raven was kind of shocked that she answered so quickly but recovered and said, "Your name?"

"Terra," she said, now looking at Raven.

Just then the alarm sounded. Robin ran over to the monitor and said, "HIVE. Let's go Titans."

Just then an enourmous amount of people piled in and Terra looked at them all in confusion.

"Sunfire," Robin said as Starfire and Sunfire entered the room, "Would you stay here with Terra?"

Sunfire looked at Robin questioningly, "Me?"

Robin nodded and sunfire sighed and nodded too.

As soon as all the other Titans were gone Sunfire smiled at Terra and sat beside her, "Hi there. I'm Sunfire if you didn't pick that up already."

"Terra..." Terra said cautiously.

"Uh... You hungry? I could make you some food," Sunfire said standing up.

Terra smiled and nodded, "That sounds good."

"Lets see... What can I make for ya?" Sunfire pondered.

Terra suddenly remember something from in her past and said, "Homemade glorg?"

Sunfire's jaw dropped and said, "Glorg? You want glorg?"

Terra nodded and giggled as she said, "I remember Starfire gave it to me once. It tasted like sushi mixed with ice cream."

Sunfire was absolutely stunned and said, "How do you remember Starfire? You haven't met her yet?"

Terra stopped smiling and said, "I don't know... I just kinda remembered that when you mentioned food..."

Sunfire shook her head and said, "Right... Anyways, glorg coming up!" She smiled and turned to start the glorg.

Terra turned back to face the widowed wall and watched the ocean, "I feel like I'm here for a reason..."

Sunfire, whom was cultivating the fungus for the glorg said, "Why do you feel that way?"

Terra turned again to look at Sunfire, "I mean... The Teen Titans wouldn't keep someone like me... I mean... normal, average person... no powers... they wouldn't keep me here... right? So i figure I'm here for some reason or other..."

Sunfire laughed, "Ya, you are here for a reason. But that will come later. Right now what we need to focus on, is you getting your memory back."

Terra nodded and layed down on the couch, "I wonder what my past was like..."

Sunfire bit her bottom lip.

"I bet it was great! Full of adventure and justice!" Terra sat up abruptly, "You have to know something about my past... right?"

Sunfire pretended like she didn't hear Terra, "Did you say something?"

Terra got the point that Sunfire didn't want to talk about it, "Uh... no... Just... talking to myself."

Sunfire felt bad, and after about a five minute silence Sunfire went over and handed Terra the glorg, "Look Terra... I do know a little about your past, but I'm not allowed to tell you."

Terra, mouth full asked her why.

"Your mind is fragile right now, and we need to take it slow. Raven is the only one who is allowed to reveal anything about your past and if anyone else says something, you best forget it."

"Why? Would they say mean things?" Terra said after swallowing.

Sunfire shook her head, "What I mean is, only count things Raven says as the truth. What everyone else says, you'd be best to forget."

Terra was utterly confused as to why she couldn't ask anyone but Raven about her past, but nodded and finished her homemade glorg.

it looks really good, you did a reeally nice job with stressing the delicacy of her mind and just how carefull all of them have to be about it. as far as the "discount everything everyone else says" part, that could create some confusion, and tension later on. not with the writing itself, but within the story and the interactions of the charecters and make it even more interesting to read! not that it isn't interesting now, but this story is going to skyrocket! The story is turning out really well and you are doing great with it! Keep up the great work Erin!

CHAPTER 23

"Okay, so... what is her name?" Raven said pointing to Starfire.

Terra looked up at who she was pointing to and said, "Starfire."

Raven looked down at Terra, whom had become interested with a strand of wrapping on her arm.

"I think we need to get you out of that suit," Raven said.

Terra looked up at her ans smiled, "So we get to go shopping?"

Raven nodded, "Yep. But you'll have to wear something around here untill we get you there."

Terra noded, "Okay."

"Go with Starfire and she'll help you get that off and get you clothes," Raven said as stood up and left the room.

Starfire came over to Terra and giggled, "Let us go friend! The mall of clothes and other wonderous things await!"

Terra smiled and followed Starfire to her room.

Starfire examned the suit that terra had been encased in for so long and said, "This shall be dizzying Terra. Forgive me."

Terra gave her a cnfused look before Starfire reached out and grabbed the topmost strand and pulled, therefore, Terra started spinning in circles as the wrapping came off. When all the wrapping was off Terra felt kind of bare, "Uh.."

Starfire examined the metal parts of the suit and said, "This may hurt.. Forgive me again."

Terra stood absolutely still as Starfire udes a lazer from her index finger to cut off all the metal.

Terra was down to her underwear now and blushed, "Can I have some clothes please?"

Starfire flew over to her closet and pulled out on of her outfits, "I hope you do not mind wearing one of my outfits to the mall."

Terra shook her head, "Not at all, as long as it covers me up."

Starfire smiled and went to get an extra pair of boots while Terra put the shirt and skirt on. Once Terra had it on, it molded to her figure, "Woah!" After it fit Terra perfectly it changed colors. From purple to baby blue and from silver to yellow, "Uh... is this supposed to happen?!"

Starfire smiled and handed Terra the boots, "Yes, that's how Tamaranian clothes work."

Terra shrugged and put the boots on, them doing the same thing as the other parts of the clothes.

"Are we ready?" Sunfire said stepping into the room, her brown hair bouncing with excitement, "I haven't been to an Earth mall since the Klanblaneks went extinct! I'm so excited!"

"As are we, and yes, we are ready to go to the mall of greatness!" Starfire said floating out of the room.

Terra followed them both an they got into the T Car after getting permission from Cyborg.

All the way to the mall the girls talked and talked, making the trip seem like it took no time at all.

Sunfire parked the car and said, "We're here! Let's go girls!"

Sunfire, Terra and Starfire headed into the mall and into the first clothes shop they found.

Starfire tried on hats and giggled as she put on a chicken hat.

Sunfire looked throught the pants as Terra looked through the shirts. Terra picked out a few yellow, blue and black shirts and took the jeans that Sunfire had and headed into the changing room.

This is how the next 10 hours went, Terra, Sunfire and Starfire heading out with ten bags per person. Most for Terra, but a few bags were for Sunfire or Starfire.

"Well, that was fun, but we better head back before the others worry," Sunfire said as she cloed the trunk to the T Car.

Just then, the jewels on Sunfire and Starfire started blinking.

Starfire looked up and said, "Trouble."

Terra watched as Sunfire and Starfire flew off after saying sorry and they'd meet her at the tower. Terra looked at the ground and said, "I'm accepted at the Tower... So there must be something special about me..." Memories of Terra's past flashed in her mind as she gasped and followed the two fires to where the trouble was, "I have to help them!"

CHAPTER 24

"Terra?" Beast Boy said as Terra appeared at the crime scene, "What are you doin here?!"

Terra's eyes glowed yellow, startling Beast Boy, "Helping!" She yelled and punched the ground, sending a line down the ground, then a large collumn extending at Dr. Light's feet, sending him flying.

"Terra?!" Raven said flying over, "What the-"

"Don't worry Raven... Everything is okay, I'm fine," Terra said, smiling at her, as the ground she stood on seperated from the ground around her and she floated into the air.

Raven smiled unsure of what to say or do, "Okay..."

Terra smiled again at her and flew over to the other Titans.

Raven landed on the ground and phazed into it, reappearing behind Dr. Light, "Hey, Dr. Light."

He turned around, and for the second time his face turned white and he put his hands up like he was surrendering.

He was put in a van that arrived later and sent to jail.

Terra landed back on the ground and Starfire landed beside her and said, "Wonderous! You remember your powers!"

Terra smiled and nodded, "Yeah, I remembered them after you and Sunfire left."

All of the sudden, all the Titans started lighting up again. Robin opened his communicator and said, "HIVE. Titans, Go!"

All the titans flew off and arrived at a bank, "Okay, they should be around here somewhere..."

Just then they heard a scream, which sounded like Jynx. All the Titans ran or flew over to where they heard it.

Jynx lay on the ground at the feet of a girl that had two white streaks at the front of her black hair. Mammoth, Gizmo, Private HIVE, and See-More all stood glaring at her.

The girl smirked and took off her other glove, throwing both of them to the ground. She put on hand up and signaled bring it on.

The four guys growled and jumped at her, all doing their own attack.

The girl smirked again, and held both hands up, purplish pink beams emmiting from them, Jynx's power. They hit Mammoth and Private, whom had both jumped at her.

Then when they hit the ground she jumped up in the air, avoiding Gizmo and See-More's attacks and landed beside the fallen two.

She reached out and touched them both, her black hair turned orange and a sheild appeared on her left arm. Mammoth and Private's powers.

Gizmo and See-More launched another set of attacks which she stood and held the sheild in front of her, blockin the attacks.

Gizmo and See-More started to sweat as the girl moved towards them, "This is what you get," the girl said, with a country accent, as she lowered the sheild, "For working for Brother Blood."

She jumped into the air and kicked See-More in the head, him falling to the ground and her abosorbing his powers. Her eyes turned yellow and she started towards Gizmo.

Gizmo shot a machine gun at her, fired rockets, but none of them penetrated the barrier she put up using See-More's power.

She finally reached gizmo and said, "Nighty-Night," her country accent strong on these words, and touched Gizmo's face. Him and her flashing black and white like all the previous people she had touched and he fell over.

She smiled, "Job well done. More justice served in this world." She sighed and ent over to pick up her gloves. She slid them back on her hands and started to leave.

"Wait!" Robin Yelled running out from the spot they had all been watching her.

She whipped around and stared at Robin, "Yeah?"

"Who are you?" Robin said as the rest of the Titans started filing out of the spot they were hiding in.

She waited till everyone was out in the open and said, "The name is Ram."

Robin looked at everyone, as if asking for permission to ask her to join them. He seemed to get okays from eveyone and he turned around, "We're the-"

"Teen Titans. Yeah, I've heard of ya."

"Well, we'd like to know if you'd join our team?"

Ram seemed startled, "I... I appreciate the thought, but i'm to dangerous to have around too many people."

"Why is that?" Robin asked her, stepping away from the crowd of Titans.

"Everyone that comes into contact with me gets hurt, and I don't wanna take the chance of hurtin the good people," Ram said, looking away from Robin and the other Titans.

"We could help you," Robin said, "Find someway to make it where you can choose who you want to hurt."

Ram looked back at them, her orange hair and yellow eyes chaning back to black and white, and brown, "I... I guess I could come with you then."

"Great! Alright Titans, meet our new member, Ram," Robin said as he handed Ram a Titan communicator.

She smiled and clipped the communicator to her belt, "Wow..." She whispered to herself, "I'm actually accepted..." Tears formed at her eyes, but she held them back and smiled and talked to all the Titans, especially Terra who became quick friends as everyone headed back to the tower.

shorter than my past chapters i know, but... o well, and yes, i got the idea for ram from rogue on x-men... i love rogue, so i added her to my story but changed her name... so anyways, i hope ya'll liked it!
