DreamWorks' "Shrek: The Story So Far" 4-disc Box Set offers only FULL SCREEN versions of both movies? A widescreen version isn't available?
WHAT... THE... @#%$???
Is DreamWorks out of their freaking mind? WS now outsells FS by a ratio of 2 to 1, and they release a box set with FS only?
I wish someone would tell me this is a mistake, but I've checked at least 3 reliable sources and they all say that the only WS available in this set is the freakin' 3D 15-minute short.
I was planning to buy this set, but I think I'll wait until DreamWorks realizes what a freaking stupid mistake they've made.

I know, it's completely retarded. They just assume that families automatically like fullscreen better, and they aren't even taking into account non-families. Now while there ARE many uneducated families that do prefer fullscreen over widescreen, you'd think Dreamworks would want people to see their films the way they were meant to be seen. They should've just released WS ONLY. Heck, families would STILL buy them. Education is half the battle.
I'm not even sure I'm going to buy Shrek 2 right away when it's released anyway. I enjoyed the film this summer, but for some reason I'm not uber excited to buy it. Looney Tunes Golden Collection 2 takes more priority.

I agree. If I liked Shrek 2, and wanting to buy a box set for Shrek, I'd just wait for Shrek 3 to come out ('06)

To get the "Story So Far" and "Shrek 3D" discs. Also, if someone didn't have the first DVD, the box set is a nice way to pick that up.

It's not worth getting this; you know they're just going to keep putting this out with the same special features plus more every time a new Shrek comes out.
