Following up on their release of a collector's edition of PREDATOR this past August, Fox Home Entertainment has announced plans to release PREDATOR 2: Collector's Edition on DVD next year.

The two-disc set will present the original 1990 film in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and in English Dolby Digital 5.1, English DTS, Spanish Dolbu Surround and French Dolby Surround tracks. Bonus features include an audio commentary by director Stephen Hopkins and writers Jim and Scott Thomas; deleted scenes; promotional stills gallery; bloopers and gag reel; three theatrical trailers; five television commercial spots; and three featurettes: "The Predator Goes to Town" and an international promo short (both originally made in 1990) as well as the new short "Creating the Ultimate Hunter."

The Region 1 PREDATOR 2: Collector's Edition DVD will arrive on store shelves January 25, 2005 and retail for $19.98. Cover artwork will be arriving shortly.

If your a fan like me..... SWEET! I didn't think we would get one.

Son, of, a, b****! After I already bought PREDATOR 2. Well, it's been a few months, but still. ARGH!! I never expected a CE, so I never thought twice about buying the existing DVD. Well, at least it was only $8.99 when I got it, so I won't feel too bad about getting the CE when it comes out.
