Am I the only one who bought Spongebob Squarepants Season 2?

I thought someone would comment on it already.

Anyway I enjoy the set and episodes. The only complaints I had were:

- Not including Help Wanted as a bonus feature.

- Not including Patrick and Squidward's endings to Shanghied/You Wish. For that I kept Sea Stories, but I gave my previous Spongebob DVDs to my brother and nephew.

- For some reason they omitted The Bully/Just One Bite, but since I enjoyed Graveyard Shift/Krusty Love, I'll be grateful this time.


Anyway, I do have a question pertaining to the first season set.

If Paramount had to pay royalties to include Help Wanted, couldn't they just up the price on the set for $4-5?

The Bully and Just One Bite are season 3 episodes.

I haven't bought the set yet, but I hope to soon. I'll let you know what I think of it then.

Dude, I would but I'm short on money as it is right now. If I buy ANYTHING in the next 2 weeks it will be a $20 or less DVD, like a movie. Heck, I didn't buy ANYTHING last week. Now that's a rarity! ;)

Yes, I bought it the day it came out. I ran out to Hastings on my lunch hour to make sure I got it for the $20 advertised price, a printing error they are no longer honoring.

Watched the entire set last weekend between saturday and sunday afternoon. I especially liked how when you hit 'play all' it showed the intro once, and then it was all episodes with no credits untill the end of the disk. Awesome! Many, maybe half of the shows I hadn't even seen yet, so I was quite pleased with my purchase! :D

The comentaries are okay, and there's a featurette where you can see the theme song sung in different languages. If you want the extra endings to Shanghied/You Wish then you better keep The Sea Stories DVD.

The episodes are really good. There's also a free movie ticket inside for Spongebob Squarepants The Movie.

After watching a few episodes from the set, all I can say is, there's a noticeable difference in video quality from season 1 to season 2. The reason is because Season 2 is when the show went digital. It looks a LOT cleaner and brighter.

I bought season 1 and 2 so you're not alone. Spongebob is a great and funny series. It's great to have the set because unless you watch the show everyday, there are bound to be episodes that we missed.
