Hi, Brubaker!

Jesus, I remember clearly of these two animated pearls produced by DePatie-Freleng on the 70's!
The Ant and the Aardvark (1968-71) told with very humor the quarrels between an Aardvark and an Ant. The Aardvark created several traps to attempt lunching the small Ant, but these traps doesn't work well.
The Ant and the Aardvark was broadcasted here in Brazil (on the last month) thru Boomerang (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com.br/boomerang or http://www.cartoonnetworkla.com/english/boomerang).
And now, here are some references from this animated pearl produced by DePatie-Freleng:

The Blue Racer (1972-74) reported the attempts of a blue snake (who ran as nobody) to take a Japanese beetle and transforming him on a meal. By the Blue Racer's hapless, the beetle was black belt in karate and normally Blue Racer ended being beaten.
And here's a picture featuring the Blue Racer:

Well, here are two unforgettable cartoons produced by DePatie-Freleng for MGM/UA (http://www.mgm.com (http://www.mgm.com/)), which were featured on The Pink Panther Show.
Well, that's it!
Ciao!

Cheers from this unforgettable friend who always writes 4 U,

Cool.

Just a correction. I don't know if this applies to Brazillian version of Pink Panther Show, but in US, THE BLUE RACER cartoons were never actually aired on TV. THE BLUE RACER was a theatrical series that ran from 1972 to 1974 released by Mirish Cinema Coperation and United Artists and after that, never appeared again.

However, when "Pink Panther" cartoons started airing in various local stations throughout the country in 1980s, many aired Blue Racer cartoons, but rarely.

Because of this, the cartoons are hard to find. However, I did managed to get some from Jerry Beck and also, someone actually taped some and sent me a copy.

I have more info on my website (http://dfe.toonzone.net/)
