Terra's Return

ok, well, for those of you who dont know, im the person who wrote predictable terra and people thought that i should make a terra fic, so here i am!:anime:


CHAPTER ONE

terra fell to the ground and looked back at the platform she had been standing on as a rock for years on end. she looked at a sote that had been placed under where she had fallen from. it said, 'TERRA A TEEN TITAN A TRUE FRIEND' she looked around looking for someone who might know who she is, "Is that me? is my name terra? well i do kinda like that name, and it sounds sorta familiar. maybe, just maybe."

she stood up and dusted herself off. she turned and walked and walked and walked until finally she reached the city. she looked around and saw nothing but vast stretches of city, ending where water began and then there was an island in the water and on it was a tower shaped like a " T " she fell as memories of her and other people, and the tower came flooding into her mind. she stood back up as people stopped staring at her. she looked at the tower and thought to herself, 'maybe there are some people there who can help me.' she walked towards the tower, stopping every so often to look through a shop. she went into a store and it was full of mirrors. she looked into the mirror. she saw a girl with blonde hair, black streaks in the front, and black eyes. (just imagine terra w/ black streaks in the front and black eyes. if you cant do that then e-mail me at witchhunterrobin@bellsouth.net and i'll email you the picture. ok?)

she walked out of the store and continued towards the tower, until she got to the water, "ugh! what will i do now?!" she flung herself down on the ground and stared at the tower. she got very angry as she realized that getting to the tower was the only possible way of getting her identity back. soon, she realized that she was on a rock flying across the water. she concentrated on landing on the island, and sure enough the rock came down and put her on the island. she stared at the tower and then started walking towards it. she went to the door and knocked.....

a boy with light green skin and dark green hair answered the door and when he looked at her he said, ":eek: TERRA?!"

CHAPTER 2

'im guessing that terra IS my name...' terra thought. she smiled at the boy and he continued to stare at her, "um..... i think i lost my memory, and this place gave me flashback, so i thought maybe there were people her who could help me."

"are you sure your terra? i mean, she has blue eyes and all blonde hair..." the boy said as another boy walked up behind him. he was very tall and hadlong black hair. he had a black suit with a blue bird on the front.

"terra? your unpetrified?! wow.... i thought we would have to unpetrify you," said the taller boy.

"um, not trying to sound unrespectful, but..... who are you?" terra said tilting her head to the side a little.

the green boy grabbed her hand and pulled her inside and pulled her into a living room-like space. there were 2 other people there. one was a girl who had long red hair and wore dark purple shirt, skirt, and boots that came up to mid thigh. between her shirt and skirt, shirt and armbands, and skirt and boots there was silver plating.(sp) and then there was a half robot half man playing video games. (ok, if your wondering why raven isnt there, and why everyone has changed go to ranen's fantasy thats my fic for raven, it will explain there.)(and no, raven isnt in her room.)

the girl looked over to where terra and the two boys stood and she ran to terra AND HUGGED HER, "LONG LOST FRIEND I HAVE MISSED YOU SO!"

'wait.... this seems familiar..... starfire? is that her name?' "is your name starfire?" terra asked, gasping for breath.

sterfire let her go and said, "why do you not remember me friend? what is wrong?"

terra looked at the taller boy and he looked at terra, "yes that is starfire. im nightwing, this is Beast Boy and over there is Cyborg. and star, i'm pretty sure that with terra being petrified she got amnesia."

"what is this amnesia of which you speak???" starfire asked giving a quizical look.

"it means you lose every memory that you once had. and its hard to overcome. sometimes its even painful," said cyborg from the couch.

"well, can you all help me?" terra asked looking at all of them.

nightwing looked to BB, "Beast Boy, take her to her room, then come back here, we need to talk some things over."

BB took terra's hand again and lead her to a room that had cactuses and moutains painted on the walls, "stay here terra and wait until i come to get you. okay?"

terra nodded as she sat herself on the bed.

BB left the room and went into the living room where everyone was already seated.

"okay, we need to decide how much we're going to tell terra. are we going to tell her about slade, or should we leave that out?" nightwing said as BB sat down.

"i think we should tell her, i mean, that will be one way to test if she is realy loyal to us now. if we tell her, and she goes evil again, then we cant trust her. if we tell her and she doesnt bail on us then shes true blue," cyborg said.

"i agree. we should tell her," said starfire.

"me to," BB said nodding.

"okay then, its settled. we tell terra everything about her past that we know," nightwing said. then he thought, 'i just hope that she doesnt betray us again.'

Oooh, pretty. I was just thinking about Plato's cave, and Terra getting out, and all that. Not a bad story, plot wise. This I like. The editing isn't top notch or anything, but you can always fix that after the story's finished. Let's hear it for PDF files! Yay! :p

Please don't take this as a negative review. I do wonder what comes next. Plus, I like Nightwing.

CHAPTER 3


"terra, come on. you can do it.... think," nightwing said.

"no i cant!" terra said, clutching her head. winds started to flow around her and her whole body became engulfed by yellow light. and her eyes slowly faded back to blue. as soon as they hit the right blue, her eyes turned yellow. and memories upon memories were going through her mind. "landslides..... avalanches.... every where you go you try to do good. and every where you go, you fail." said a voice in her head.... she had heard it so many times before.... 'why cant i remember????' she thought. and the wind came to an abrupt stop. and she stood up. then fell again.

"terra!" bb said as he ran over to her, "come on terra i know you can do it.... these memories will come back eventually.'

"i need to rest...." terra said standing up and walking shakily to her room.

bb stared at her as he thought, 'i wonder what she remembered thats making her so weak.....'

"beast boy..... you need to go talk to her. find out what she remembered," nightwing said walking up behind him.

so, bb went up to terra's room to find her laying on her bed, her hands over her eyes, "terra? you okay?"

"no..... no beast boy im not...... i hate not having a memory. and whats worse is having bits and peices of it," terra said sitting up looking at him.

"you just gotta stick with us terra. we plan on helping you until you have your memory is back. you've just gotta be patient."

"IM TIRED OF BEING PATIENT BEAST BOY! i want to know my life.... i mean... its mine.... i should be able to remember."

"maybe this will help you....." bb said holding up a little heart-shaped box.

terra stared at it. and reached out for it. when she touched it she remembered slade..... and raven.... how much raven had hated her when she'd found out that terra had betrayed them......

" oh my god!!!!" terra said dropping the box. all of her memories were coming back to her and she couldnt taker them all at once. she remembered when she left the teen titans the first time. and then come back and pretended to be their friend, only to steal their secrets and give them all to slade... her master..... she remembered all the fighting that she had done and all the horrible things. she remembered telling bb to destroy her, because she was tired of fighting and the huge fight with slade, which is where she was turned into stone.

"terra? are you okay?" bb said trying to get her back on the floor.

her hair slowly faded back to all blonde and she was terra...... memories and all.........

CHAPTER 4

"terra? are you alright???" bb said becoming increasingly worried.

"im..... GREAT! i remember everything beast boy! i feel...... amazing!" she said as she ran around her room.

bb stared at her then smiled.:anime: but wondered how happy she would be when nightwing brought up the subject of slade.

there was a knock on the door and nightwing walked in, "well? how are you?"

terra stopped running around and her big smile [ :D ] went to a frown [ :( ].

"nightwing...... i...... remember everything and......"

"good. now. get out."

terra stood gaping at him [ :eek: ] "what?"

"we've helped you. even though you betrayed us. get out."

tears started runung down terra's face [ :crying: ] "you know.... this is why i betrayed you in the first place..... i didnt feel welcome and... someone told my secret."

"beast boy didnt tell me. i figured it out. and we always treated you well and you left."

"nightwing, dont make me leave.... please i'll prove to you how sorry i am.... please..... give me one last chance...."

"fine. but dont think this means im gunna be nice to you."

nightwing left and terra fell onto her bed and bawled her eyes out. bb cam over and sat down, "terra..... its okay... i mean... you know who you are... and thats all you need right????"

"not right...... i need you guys.... if it werent for you all.... i wouldnt know the stuff i know.... and im gunna do whatever it takes to get the trust that i long for........"

About Nightwing,I wouldn't have made him say "Get out" I would've made him say "I think you should leave" Becasue he doesn't want to deal withit anymore. Sides that, I really like this fic. Bringing back Terra seemed like it would turn dumb, but it turned out really good.

CHAPTER 5


"Terra!" Beast Boy yelled knocking a huge mob of sentinels away from her. After doing so, looked down at her inanimate body, 'If I leave her here all alone, Slade could get to her...' he thought. His thoughts were interrupted by a red blast from a sentinel's gun.

"NO! TERRA!" BB yelled as one of the sentinels picked her up and jumped away. He morphs into a bird and follows after the sentinel, suprised to see Nightwing following it too, he fired a grappling hook up too the roof that BB was flying next too.

he swung himself up and said to the questining looking bird next to him, "Terra gained my trust, and I don't want her to lose it, she's being taken away by force, and i won't allow that..." By now, he was running across the top of the buildings, jumping from one to the next.

BB nods, thankful that Nightwing trusted Terra, feeling the same he did, they both were NOT going to let Slade take Terra again.

"Hello Nightwing..." said that oh-so-annoying voice that belonged to the one and only Slade. Slade swung in and delivered a nicely placed kick where the sun don't shine. Nightwing doubled over in pain and whispered to the now human BB, "Go get Terra..."

"I think not..." Slade said snapping as a mob of sentinels attacked BB and the sentinel with Terra dissapeared.

"TERRA!" BB yelled as Nightwing tried to, but was still in pain.

"She's mine now..." Slade smirked at the two.

hmm....did this happen later on in the story cause the last chapter ended with Nightwing saying "get out" (or somewhere around there) and this just jumps into action< other than that it was good. keep going i want to see where this ends up

Still, if I could understand it, it would probably be good. Things were capitalized - that's a good sign.
