I wasn't really expecting ayone to put a cover of a track on here, so that's quite a nice surprise. It tells the whole Beast Boy/Terra story really well, putting the kind of emotional spin on things that only music can do. It's also very well written, which is always good.

The pictures back the whole thing up quite nicely, but it would be interesting to see how the song reads without them!

Two things to say.

1) Skill with the songs - these pics go so well, I really can't get over it.
2) Ease off on your mom, for God's sake. I know nobody in the world who's problems are all one persons fault and who's problems aren't at least 38% their own damn fault. I can tell you for sure that my problems are well over that. More like 75 fricken percent. And you are harsh. Damn harsh. :mad:

3) Music is the greatest thing man ever invented, but it's results are unpredicatable. Most people think that if you are depressed and listen to depressing music then that is why you are depressed, and you'll probably kill yourself like the lyrics say and all that, but that's total crap. If you're depressed and you listen to depressing music, it makes you feel better and no happy person will ever understand this. If your happy, maybe it will make you depressed. But not if you're angry or depressed or whatnot. Just doesn't work that way.

My parents won't let me listen to the radio stations that these songs are on but I listen to them anyway. They won't even let me by their CDs. They will let me listen to Avril and Blindside, but that's the best thing that I can listen to. Ha they think that that's depressing, I'm glad that they haven't read lyrics for songs I wrote. They're dark, depressing, goth. Some rhyme some don't. I don't talk to my parents about my life. They wouldn't understand. Sometimes I don't even understand. (Well, Welcome to my Life. That's one of my favorite songs.)

P.S. Songs aren't depressing, the people were just depressed when they wrote it. All my songs are like that. Should I start a song fic with my songs. I don't know, they're pretty wierd. I haven't read them in a while though.

I guess I'm considered rebelious. People say the kind of music you listen too explains who you are, I beleive this. I listen to Aerosmith, Linkin Park, Led Zeplin, Evanescence, a lot of music about problems in life, and that's what I have. I get in fights with mom a lot. She embarasses me. I know people say give them a chance, but I do. I've given them chances. But NO! They have to chaperone my dances so I dont make out with people! They just cramp my space. That's funny. For your dance chaperone problem I offer some advice. Don't tell your parents when you're having a school dance until the day of the dance. Music rocks.

My mom can basically only sign on to my AOL, or type up a paper on my Microsoft Word. She's not that computer-smart. My dad, however, he's pretty good. Good enough to fix my computer when I accidentally put a virus in it, but not smart enough to find out what I did to get that virus (which I will keep to myself and won't do again):sweat:

As for my relationship w/ my parents- It's a pretty good relationship, except they don't like anything I like so I can't really talk to them about stuff. They don't really understand.(I usually talk to one of my friends, like Aquagirl15) But I do know they love me....but I hate when my mom always kicks me off the phone or computer to "read a good book", is what she calls it. She does that a lot.

Yay! Fun time! Okay, music: I'm kinda weird because I like a bunch of different types of music. MY favorite is Rock/Alternative, but my cousin's rap likings have rubbed off on me, and my parent's country music has rubbed off on me. So I kinda like those too. I also like Dance/Electronica/Trance/whatever you want to call it. But my favorite bands/singers are: Linkin Park, New Found Glory, Green Day, Bowling for Soup, Ashlee Simpson, Usher, Sum41, Blind Iris, and Rise Against.:D

If you can gain their trust by being good, they will give you a TON more freedom. and one thing I've learned over the years, NEVER LIE! confess and take it like a (wo)man, because if you are caught in a lie, things will only get worse. my life used to be a living hell before I adopted these two policies, but now life is a lot better! show them respect and honesty, and they will do the same. The next time they say they want to chaperone the school dance, ask them when was the last time that you ever did anything to defy their trust. they won't be able to think of anything recent, and they will trust you more. My mom still wories and has me do ENDLESS CHORES but life is overall better. please don't kill me for saying that!

You still need to work at it though! even if they don't believe you now, if they will eventually see you are consistantly telling the truth they will start to recognize that in time. just trust me on this one. and this applies to everyone. You can't get out of a hole by digging even deeper.

Deliberately trying to get along with your parents saves you a lot of fuss in the long run, even though the short term losses are usually equally considerable. However, never simply obey and order for obedience's sake: always ask why a particular chore needs to be done by you at that particular second. Don't get antagonistic about it, though: just try to make it seem like you want to try and understand why your parents think and act in the way that they do. Such an outward displat of intelligence always pays off.

Anyway, the song/pic combos posted on here have been stunning. Even though I'm not all that familiar with the tunes, the match-ups of lines to pictures have routinely been near-perfect. Hopefully such a continued display of genius is set to continue.:D

Just so's I can get this over and done with now, my own musical tastes are mostly in the electronic field. The list of dance acts that I like is damn near endless, but for simplicity's sake I'll just say for now that Underworld, Orbital and The Chemical Brothers are my particular favourites. Somehow, I have the feeling that the indie, skate rock and thrash metal addicts amongst you aren't going to be overly impressed...:sweat: :sweat: :sweat: :sweat: :sweat:
