There is some cool new Hanna-Barbera merchadise from Japan. Take a look,
http://www.toymania.com/news/messages/5697.shtml

While we are on the topic of Hanna-Barbera merchadise, for a while Palisades toys (makers of Muppets, Invader Zim, Aliens, Adult Swim, and other action figure products) was looking to the Boomerang license but there was one problem.

Here what Ken Lilly, Product manager for Palisades Toys had to said from the Palisades boards,

"We looked into it and could get it, but it would not include Flintstones and Jetsons, which I think is critical to have in order to achieve any longevity or power in the market with that product line in a six-inch traditional action figure scenario."

Need here my question, would you buy a Boomerang action figure line if the Flintstones and Jetsons were not including?

Those look great, but I am still waiting for Galaxy Trio maquettes and action figures. When Toynami had the license for Galaxy Trio, Herculoids, Birdman, Thundarr, and Dynomutt a few years ago, they made some great products, then dropped the license when Warner Brothers wanted to elevate the licensing fee's to a MUCH higher level. Anyway, they stopped these products just before plans were underway to make Galaxy Trio animation maquette/statues..... I have waited almost thirty years for maquettes of them! I hope Palisades will go ahead and get the license for the Boomerang characters. I want Galaxy Trio, Mightor, Samson & Goliath, Impossibles, Atom Ant, Frankenstein Jr., Race Bannon from Jonny Quest, Secret Squirrel, Shazzan, Moby Dick, etc.... In other words, there are alot of great characters to carry this line besides the Flintstone's and the Jetson's, in my opinion.

Do you know if this company in Japan is going to make more of these PVC figures, like Galaxy Trio?

Those toys are pretty cool. I have no idea as to why they wouldn't license the Flintstones or Jetsons. Maybe because they think they could exist within their own line?
