I think she's just a woman with a very low voice. An attractive woman right up until she opens her mouth. (contrast = funny) It's another spin on the Tex Avery gag where he slowwwly raised the curtain on a supposedly gorgeous woman character, and she elicits eye popping and drooling from the male characters right up until they finally reveal her face. :o

If she were preop, I think Dr. Venture would have figured something out in last week's episode. ;) Besides, I could have sworn that she and the Monarch talked about having kids in the episode that they were introduced (could be wrong though).

It would've hardly been rape. Dr. Girlfriend wanted him. Besides, it was the way Brock said he wasn't interested that caught my attention. Hell, he's done it w/ way uglier chicks (the fat stripper from last week, the fat and extremely ugly stripper from the pilot, the chick w/ the ugly face from the space station episode). There has to be something more about Dr. Girlfriend that keeps Brock away other than her voice. At the very least, he suspects she was once a man.

As a guy with several transgendered friends, and some one who's also Bi, and very active in the GLBT rights movement, I think I should clarify terms a bit for all y'all uneducated folks.

A transvestite is the same thing as a crossdresser. Someone who recieves sexual gratification from dressing like the opposite sex. However, they still view them self as their corresponding gender.

A transgendered person is someone who identifies themselves as of the opposite gender. The scientific term for this condition is Gender Dysphoria. A transexual is someone who is in the process of turning themselves into the opposite sex. Male to female is by far the most common form of transexual. The actual process of a sex change is very very good these days. If you've browsed through some of the stranger pr0n sites these days, you'll know what i'm talking about. Brazil and thailand are not fun for straight guys. Becuase the surgery is so good, you wouldn't be able to tell. They can now elliminate pretty much all outward signs of the original gender, via adam's apple shaving, voice raising, hormone therapy, breast augmentation, adjustments to the jaw line, nose, hair line, etc.

Female to male is a much different subject, which i won't explain since it's not relevant to dr. girlfriend.


My theory: Dr. Girlfriend is a female with a deep voice.

Edit: Might as well explain hermaphrodites while I'm at it too. A Hermaphrodite is a person who's born with sex traits of both genders. That doesn't not nessarily mean having both sets of sex organs A hermaphrodite is most often born with a full set of organs, let say the primary male set of sex organs, in addition to lets say partial female organs, like a uterus, or an ovary. Technically, there is no such a thing as a true human hermaphrodite, as no know human has been able to reproduce asexually. However, the term is still used.
