I liked the song, found the video to be interesting and fairly entertaining. A little dark the video, but that's probably just the way that I ended up seeing it. Also comparisons to porn a bit over exaggerated, I don't think anything in the video goes past Maxim-ish level. Also let's keep this to the video and not used just as an opportunity to bash britney for the hell of it.

Say what you want about Britney, negative or positive, she had a ton of #1 hit songs. She used to be able to sing, actually. You should hear some of her early work... from the freaking Mickey Mouse Club. God only knows why she stopped trying and took the easy (see also: skanky) way out.

That's exactly what I was saying. I don't harbor any hard feelings on the girl. She's just living her life. Yes, an odd and making rather dumb mistakes but it's still her life. She's allowed and entitled to do what she wants to do and nobody should really judge her because nobody's perfect. I don't care if she's a celebrity or not - people still have no right to call her a slut or a whore. I'm not an uber fan of her music (more of an alt rock fan myself) but she doesn't bother me and to be blunt I think some people need to get a life when it comes to criticizing her. If she bothers you that much then don't watch her videos or listen to her music. You can't hate a person you don't know. Nobody's perfect.


BTW, I will agree Britney Spears could really sing. I heard an audio of her singing at a Church (before super stardom) and I was shocked. She's no Christina Aguilera (vocal wise) but her actually non-dubbed voice was really good.

I agree with you every single bit. Like I said before she still makes number one hits. Mostly I think Britney messed up when she married that ugly man. I know she has better taste than that and she was going with Justin. Come now! I also think she should straighten up bit. I have to agree with ManicWebb. Like I said I have no harsh feelings for Britney but Christina is just better and will go far. Christina is an artist. Britney is an entertainer. It seems like Christina has it all together. Her voice will take her places. Britney is not that great vocal wise and her label will always hold her back. She's a good performer but she can't belt out songs that will give her serious status. Christina can and did. Beautiful, The Voice Within, and among other songs on her sophomore CD, "Stripped", were all great and was praised by critics. Christina writes mostly her own songs and have worked with producers like Alicia Keys, Missy Elliot, and Linda Perry. Britney doesn't. Well, the songs she has wrote where okay (from what I've heard) but she's not that good of a writer. She can dance but that's it. She's like Madonna. A crowd pleaser. She'll have a catchy song here or there but that's not real music... well to me anyway. It's funny that you criticize Christina working w/ Redman but didn't Britney collaborate with The Ying Yang Twins? So they are both even when it comes to working with rappers. Christina has many leverages over Britney and always will. Britney may be the flavor of the year and will always pull stunts to be in the public eye but Christina really doesn't need to do that stuff. Yes, her "image" change was shocking however she has the voice and the talent to back it all up.

I don't even listen to her music, or any Pop music.Because in my opinion, I just don't like it at all really except for an extremem few exceptions. I also place J-Pop as seperate from Pop to me.

Anyway, this isn't what true Pop music is, the true Pop music was back in the 50's and 60's and such.
