I was reading one of those nostalgia articles about 80's toys, and I remembered something I used to have. I was wondering if anyone knew a site with the other figures in the series, and if there was a carton series.

The main gimmick was that the entire face and torso were flat and covered with a holographic sticker - when you turn it ne way it shows the face and torso of a man, turn it the other way and it turns into a snky monster. The rest of the figure was snake-themed, with a brown, scaly tunic. Teh accessories wee a breastplate (which clicked in to the flat area of the body), a rubber cobra hood and, if I remeber correctly, a snake staff.
I believe some of the other figures in the line were a skeleton and a lion.

Can anyone identify this?

Visionaries. There was a Marvel comic book, but I don't remember a TV series. Hasbro made the toys. One of the coolest ideas along with Inhumanoids.

Edit: There might've been a TV special or mini-series.

I thought visionaries were the little armoured guys which just had holograms on their chests and staffs? This thing was Barbie-sized and the hologram was obviosuly intended to be his face and chest...

Then I dunno, I can't think of what it could be. Although, Visionaries had holograms for faces too.

SuperNaturals, released by Tonka Toys around 1987-88ish.

The first thing that popped into my head when you said holograms was Visionaries, but if their faces were holograms too, it was probably Super Naturals.
