HELLO, CHRISTY
Sept. 27, 2004
The WWE will welcome its newest Diva on RAW Monday.
Christy Hemme, who just last week won the $250,000 RAW Diva Search, will get a party thrown in her honor by Women’s Champion Trish Stratus.
There will also be a spiteful tag team match as Shawn Michaels & Chris Jericho will take on Christian & Tyson Tomko.
Lita's first interview since tragically losing her unborn baby will also take place.
Also, Val Venis vs. Gene Snitsky and Rhyno & Tajiri vs. The Hurricane & Rosey.
Tune in and watch RAW, live from Kansas City, on Spike TV (9/8 CT)

Well looks like I am the 1st one to Review Raw. Raw IMO Sucked today I mean the Interview with Orton and Flair was great. And Somehow I know Flair knew Orton is right. Sooner or Later Flair will turn on HHH maybe at Taboo Tuesday who knows. Its going to be interesting to see how Orton gets back as one of the choices in Taboo tuesday to face HHH.
I was not really surprised to see Carmella at all. I was hearing rumors that she was slated to win the Contest but I guess they just signed her or something.

Ah another week and another crappy Raw, what a shocker. Here are my thoughts:
-So Christy is already making appearances on tv and looking like she might be put into a wrestling role rather soon. That's what I can't figure out since everytime they hold contests like this and get non wrestlers, they take them off tv so long to train in OVW that by the time they come back, no one remembers who they are and it's a wasted investment. And I can see a love angle forming eventually with Christine and Eugene. God help us if that comes to frutation.
-The Orton/Flair segment was good as was Flair's interview. Anyone who read his book know's what his feelings on Bret, Foley and Hogan are. I wonder if any of them will respond to those comments he made. Sorry though Ric, Foley and Bret are legends and there spot is cememnted.
-Does anyone expect Gene Snitsky to stand a chance against Kane after Kane destroyed him three weeks ago? And sorry JR, but beating Val Venis now a days is hardly an accomplishment in anyones eyes.
-The Eugene/Regal in ring segment was stupid. Nuff said.
-I guess signing Carmella might of been a good thing since she's the only one on the entire female roster who can generate heat well.
-I am really looking forward to a Michaels/Captain Charisma feud. Christian could use the rub badly as he's the best heel on the roster now by far.
-Speaking of the Diva search, does anyone know what happend to the first Diva search winner at all?
Overall Raw continues it's awful streak this week and get a unanimous thumbs down from me. I'm not even sure why I'm watching anymore other than out of habbit and fear that I might somehow miss something good.
Well I forgot to leave a tape running.. =( So I'm just gonna comment from a recap I read.
I liked the idea of Orton talking to Flair like he did, and making it seem like the Nature Boy was indeed thinking about where he is in Evolution and such. Of course I'm not surprised to see Flair stay with his evil ways and help beat on Orton.
Once I heard that Trish was throwing the party for Christy, I knew somehow she would spread her underhanded ways and attack Christy. Interesting to show Carmella, I have a feeling that they probably signed her up too, and like they did with Tough Enough, sometimes a non-winner shines enough to garner attention. All the better as long as it didn't cost Christy her spot and it didn't. Back to the party, not only did they gang up on her, but a panties and bra match.. I missed out alright. ;_;
I still dislike Tomko, but I guess he can stay around if that means Christian can feud with Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho, but hopefully Christian loses Tomko because I think in the long run Christian is a better heel by himself.

I liked how the Bischoff-Triple H opening segment transitioned into a match between the Game and Shelton Benjamin. The streak of the former Golden Gopher against H3 remains alive!
I wasn’t sure what to make of The Hurricane’s apparent attitude change last week, but it seems that with a win over Tajiri and Rhyno, the WWE’s resident super hero is doing a-okay. :)
When Kane is more upset than normal, someone is going to get hurt and clearly that someone will be Gene Snitsky.
Eugene looked pretty dangerous with those Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake-like scissors. Regal had better be careful.
Poor Sean Morley. It doesn’t say much for your career prospects when you are chosen to be fed to the glorified jobber. :(
The Flair-Orton confrontation was fantastic because every word could have been real. I often wonder what 16-time World Champion Ric Flair is doing when he calls Triple H names like “champ”—names that used to be reserved for him. Orton called him to the canvas on it all.
Christian sure took beating Shawn Michaels well. Captain Charisma looks to be targeting HBK and that should make things very interesting in the weeks to come.
William Regal looked to be having almost as much fun as Eugene when he was going over the possible outcomes of young Master Eugene’s Taboo Tuesday match with Eric Bischoff. The man’s comedic skills will probably never be truly appreciated.
Well, I just hope that WWE doesn’t try to take advantage of the “Carmella hate” the fans have by keeping her around. She lost the contest and I hope this is her last appearance or the focus will not stay on Christy. And after Trish, Gail and Molly “won” that is one place I want the focus. :D:D
Ric Flair was just in a zone while Batista was getting ready to go the ring. The Nature Boy had more than a lot on his mind.
Apparently Flair didn’t have that much on his mind though, because he did to Orton what he did to Shawn Michaels in June of 2003—acted as if he was going against Triple H and then deciding to stay within the safety of Evolution. I must say I was excited about Ric standing up for himself and was disappointed to see him settle into his same role again.

As I've already said, I'm only a part-time wrestling fan, but I love Regal - his lil' segment with Eugene was class. :D
