[RavenBlackfire3]

Chapter One





Raven looked across the water at Jump City. It was so beautiful how the setting sun reflected on the water. This peace and quiet made her meditating a lot easier. She heard the door creak open and small foot steps come closer to her. She opened one eye and saw Beast Boy sitting there in cat form. He was giving her ‘the face’ and even though she never admitted it, it always got to her. She closed her eye and said, “Beast Boy, you know that doesn’t work on me.”



“Ya, I know… I just wanted to try,” Beast Boy said going back to human form, “Come on Raven! Come down and enjoy fun with us! Can’t you meditate later?”

“Ugh… if it will make u be quiet, then fine, I’ll come down.”

Beast Boy gave a small victory leap and grabbed Raven’s arm and pulled her down to the entertainment room. As they entered they found Cyborg and Robin playing video games and Starfire cheering Robin on.

“You want some of that Cyborg? Huh? Huh? Do ya?” Robin said as he finally beat Cyborg.

“Oh be quiet you little spiky-haired, self absorbed, stodgy…” Cyborg said being cut off by Starfire saying, “Let us not call names while we are celebrating Robin’s victory.”

“Congratulations Robin,” Raven said letting out a small smile.

Robin turned to her and blushed while saying, “Thanks Raven.”

Starfire glared at Raven, which was kind of awkward since Star was such a nice natured person. Raven turned to BB who was still holding onto her arm. BB saw what she was looking at and blushed as he let go.

“Friends! Let us go and do the training that Robin enjoys so much!” Star chimed in.

“I could go for some training. You up to it Cyborg? BB? Raven?” Robin said looking at the corresponding person.

They all nodded and headed off to the training room. But just as soon as they got there Cyborg and Robin were at it again. Later on after training Star was tired so she went off to bed and once again it was a battle between Robin and BB who would get to walk Raven to her room. Raven stepped over to Cyborg whispered something into his ear and disappeared into the ceiling. The boys both stopped arguing immediately and turned to Cyborg who said, “Raven wants me to talk to you two.”

They all went into the living room and sat down.

“Okay,” said Cyborg looking at the two boys in front of him, “Raven told me that it has become increasingly obvious to her that you both like her. Correct?”

Robin and BB nodded.

“Okay, she has also told me that she would like to talk to both of you…”

They both stood up to go to Raven’s room but Cyborg stopped them, “One at a time.”

They started arguing over who would go first but Cyborg once again stopped them.

“We’ll flip a coin ok?” Cyborg said as he tossed a coin into the air.

“Heads!” called BB.

“Tails!” came Robin.

The coin fell onto the ground and rolled around and landed on… tails!!!

“YES!” Robin screamed as he took off towards Raven’s room. He was glad to see Raven and excited as to what would happen, but was also curious since he had never been into Raven's room. He opened the door and stepped inside to see Raven meditating on her bed. She stopped and looked over at him. She smiled and said, “So you got first dibs huh?”

He laughed and said, “I guess you could say that.”

“Okay, let’s cut to the chase. I know that you like me, and Star has officially ‘disowned me’ for it.”

Robin’s jaw dropped, “She what?!”

Raven stood up and walked to her door, “Disowned me? You know, pretending like she doesn’t know me when she really does? Ya, she left a little before you came in.” Raven slowly walked out of the room and Robin followed. They went up to the roof and were relieved that Star wasn’t up there. Raven sat down and Robin sat next to her. It was very dark since it was late, so naturally it was a bit chilly. Raven wrapped her cloak around her as she said, “Robin, I also know that BB likes me, and if I choose one of you over the other, then the other will probably disown me to. But I… if I am forced to choose, then I know who I will choose.”

“And do I get a hint?”

“No. Neither does BB. But the only thing that I’m worried about if how Cyborg and Starfire will react to my choice.”

“Well, Raven,” Robin said as he stood up, “I’ll go on down and let u talk to BB. And, just to let you know, I will never make you choose.”

Raven smiled knowing that no matter what her choice, Robin would accept her. She had just said a tiny lie b/c in truth, she had NO IDEA who she was gunna pick. She sat there waiting for BB to come out and when he did it he had this look on his face like he had succeeded at something that was very important to him. He sat down and smiled at her, “I knew you would pick me.”

“WHAT?!!!!” Raven yelled as she stood up.

“I said-“

“You don’t have to repeat yourself! You self absorbed little…… UGH!” Raven phased through the floor and went to Robin’s room. She knocked on the door and said, “Robin, it’s me, tell Starfire to go down to the living room, I’m gunna announce my decision.”

Robin looked up from his work and immediately headed to Star’s room. He knocked on the door but went in before Star could answer. He walked in just as Star was putting up a little Voodoo doll of Raven, “Star? Why do you have a Raven Voodoo doll?”

“Because she is a Klor-bag Varbler Nelk. And is not to be trusted. Especially not with ones heart.”

“Come on! Star that is the most pathetic piece of crap excuse that I have ever heard! You disowned her b/c I like her, well NEWS FLASH STAR! IT’S NOT GUNNA CHANGE! AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO! If you want to know who she does choose come down to the living room. Now,” he said as he slammed the door.

interasting, definatly. I knew Beast Boy had some feelings for Raven and a slight hint that Robin and her had always been a little more than friends, but I never thought someone in worlds finest would come out and embrase it.
i always liked raven, you could kinda tell by my story "As The Bird Flies" and I'm glad I have some fellow likers.
And just for the record, the titans watch over jump city, not gotham, but still good.
By all means, keep writing. peace out.

Funny, I always thought that Raven and Cyborg would end up together in the series. Keep posting, I wanna see where this goes.

well, in all thruth the reason robin was being 'hurtful' is b/c star was being a complete jerk and he was tired of it. i mean she disowned onw of her best friends just /bc the guy she had a crush on likes her. dont u think that THAT is overreacting. im mean its ok to b mad wen something like that happens, but DISOWN. i mean... ya, its my story and i coulda changed it, and star is normally the nicest person on the team, but i wanted to twist things around, and you all r gunna find that as my sotry progresses. ya, i will occasionally use lines from the show, but i like to twist things and make them REALLY different.

chapter 2


they all came into the living room and took their seats. starfire trying her best not to look at raven. raven sat indian style and levitated in the air, "ok, i have asked you all to come here to tell u that i have made my choice. and that i think u will b very supried........" raven looked around at her friends her gaze stopping at star. her eyes filled with tears as she said, "You all may not like me right now, but i believe that its your right to know that.... im leaving the teen titans temporarilly.(sp)"

Robinstood up and said, "WHAT!" :mad:

BB sat there staring at Raven in amazement.:eek:

"Yes. I'm afraid i have to. You see, Trigon, my father is destroying Ararath and my sisters need my assistance." She noticed that Star was actually looking at her. Raven stood up and walked to Star, "Star, whatever i did, im sorry, i cant stand to leave here without letting you know that i was sorry. i truly am." one lone tear :( ran down raven's face to be quickly wiped away by cyborg. he gave her a brotherly hug, and soon it turned into a group hug. Raven smiled, knowing that her friends would be waiting for her wen she returned.

They all let go and walked her to the roof. She put on her hood and turned to them, "I truly dont know how long this will take. So please, just be here waiting wen i return."

They all nodded.

Raven looked at her friends one last time for a long time then turned and flew away.........






~~~~~~~~YEARS LATER~~~~~~~~
Raven touched down bac on earth and looked up at her true one and only home now. she smiled and went inside. it was very quiet but she could hear the faint familiar sound of cyborg and BB playing video games. she walked slowly up to the living room trying to find the words to say wen she saw them. She was now 18 and so all the others would b to. she took the final step into the living room and saw cyborg and BB playing video games, no supride there. but, Star and Robin were the ones that were missing. Raven went over to them and said, "BOO!" ;) :D they both jumped and turned and the biggest smile spread across their faces, "RAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" they screamed as they tackled her down. She smiled and pushed them off with her mind.

"Where is Star and Robin?" She asked.

"Probably on the roof," they said standing up.

"Thanx," she said as she flew through the ceiling and stopped wen she got to the roof and saw Star and..... Robin? no..... that must be 'Nightwing'. She walked over to them and they looked up at her, and to Raven's suprise Star stood up and gave her a huge hug.

"Raven! We missed you so much!" Starfire said sounding like a normal person instead of like an alien, she talked like blackfire did, but it was still stars voice, she didnt add those unnecessary explaining words like she used to. When Star finally let her go Nightwing came over and hugged her to, "Good to have you back Raven."

Raven smiled and looked at Star, her outfit was different, it was a darker shade of purple and it had the silver plating like blackfires did, "I see that everyone is changing they're uniforms," Raven said as Star and Nightwing smiled. Raven's out fit was now Red instead of blue.

"Guess so. Well how did things go?"

Raven looked to the ground, "Not so well, lets just say that Asarath doesnt exist anymore."





and thats the end of this chapter. short i know and sorry about that, but i wanted to at least get something out for ya'll. ttyl

ok, explanation as to y i wasnt posting, my dad took the internet away from me. and there was no way to get on, so sorry in advance if this chapter is really short.


Chapter 3


"What are you talking about Raven?" Starfire asked as she went over to her friend.

"Well we almost lost the battle, but in the end my mother used all her strength, killed my father and destroyed the planet..... killing herself in the proccess. The only way i lived was because my mother sent me away from the planet and i watched my mother destroy everything she had built from afar."

Star and Robin stood there gaping.

Star wrapped her arms around raven and said, "Oh dear friend, we are enlightened to have you back. And sadened at your news. Know that your friends will always stand beside you."

"I know Star, now could you please let me breathe?" Raven said between intakes of air. Star let go and smiled. Raven smiled through her eyes but didnt put a smile on her face...... and she believed she never would again.....
[yes i know most of you are like :eek: and sorry about that!]

~~~~~~~~~~A FEW DAYS LATER~~~~~~~~~~



Raven snapped out of meditating as the alarm went off. She ran into the main room and saw robin and star stare at the screen where on it is an older version of........TERRA!

"Hey fellow Titans!" She said. Raven studied the features of the older Terra's face. her hair was now more goldish than blonde and her eyes were alot smaller. She wore her hair up in the back and let to strands fall down the sides of her face. [yes, im very aware that that is quistis from ff8 ok?]

"Raven?! Your back?! I'm so glad!" She said, Raven noticed that she still had her southern accent.

"Yes. And I'm glad that while I was gone your were unpetrefied," Raven said.

"Look Raven, I'm really sorry about everything that I did. Really, I am."

A flash of Terra formed in Ravens mind. Terra was standing above Beast Boy as Beast Boy said, "No... Terra... You cant..." Then Raven got angry as she remembered the look of pure joy on Terra's face as she said, "Watch me." and closed the gap.

She shook the thought out her mind and looked up at Terra, "I know you are Terra."

Terra smiled and then started talking to BB. Raven took it from their convo that they got back together. Raven got tired of listening to them and went up to the roof to meditate.

Chapter 4

Raven walked out onto the roof and sat down and began to meditate. she noticed she couldnt keep a blank train of thought. she opened her eyes and stared across the familiar waters. she thought back to the day she left this place. having no idea that she was about to lose her birthplace. she pushed the thought out of her mind knowing that it would only make her angry. and control hadnt exactly been on her side lately. starfire came up and sat beside her.

"Hey raven. how are you doing?"

raven just nodded, to busy trying not to lash out on star. 'star doesnt deserve to be yelled at. star doesnt deserve to be yelled at.' she thought over and over. but it seemed that, that wasnt helping. memories of the battle and how much her mother and sisters cried learning that their mother and planet would be destroyed soon. enough. raven shut her eyes and put her hands on her head, "dont lose control, dont lose control" she said this over and over as star stopped mid sentence and looked at her friend. raven's eyes were glowing red and she had a look of hatred mixed with terror on her face. raven tuerned to star, "star, go, NOW!" raven held out her arm with great difficulty and pused starfire in the door. she went back to trying to clear her mind. 'WHY CANT I DO THIS!!!!!! calm down. calm down.' she looked at the door as it swung open. the whole team stepped out and she tryed to fly away from them so that they wouldnt get hurt but it wasnt working. it was like her powers were not being controlled by her at all. like someone else was controling them.

things started floating and flying around various ways. raven looked over to her friends, "LEAVE! I CANT CONTROL IT ANY MORE!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" she screamed in pain and brought her knees to her chest. she tryed to place herself back on the floor since she was at least 6 feet in the air. raven felt a hand on her shoulder and she turned to see a familiar face, "Aqualad?" raven's thoughts were turned from anger to suprise, happiness and suprise.

aqualad looked at her and said, "you okay?"

raven looked over to her friends an they all looked fine. raven nodded and said, "just a little pissed thats all."

nightwing came over and said, "raven, i thought you had control of your powers."

raven kinda flared up but kept her cool when aqualad placed a hand on her shoulder again. Raven ignored nightwing and grabbed aqualad's hand and made to go to her room, but nightwing stopped her, "answer me...."

raven stared into nightwing's eyes and said slowly, "so did i."

Chapter 5

aqualad sat down beside raven on her bed after she collapsed. 'i should let her rest. she has alot of stress that she needs to sleep off. maybe when she wakes up, i'll tell her. maybe.....' aqualad thought as he put the covers over her and ran a thumb gingerly over her cheek. the door shut behind him and he went into the living room, where the titans were talking....about raven.

"can we still trust her?" starfire said looking to aqualad.

"she told you all to leave, for your own safety. i dont know why, but i seem to calm her down," aqualad said sitting next to BB.

"I think that it would be in the best intrest of the team if aqualad stayed here until raven has full control again," nightwing said.

"If i might say something, if terra asks to talk to raven, come up with an excuse, until raven is ready. because, terra kinda triggers uncontrollable anger in raven."

they all looked at aqualad and he just walked out of the living room and stopped at raven's room. he looked inside to find raven gone....... he ran back into the living room and saw that raven was outside about to take a swim....

"does raven even know who to swim?" he heard BB say. he immeadietly(sp) ran outside to find that raven had already jumped in and was sinking to the bottom. he jumped in himself and was very scared at what he saw.

he swam over to raven's inaminmate body, picked her up and swam back to the surface.

he layed her down on the shore and checked her pulse.....................

there was none.............

alright... if you don't have an internet blocker that prevents you from downloading pictures from the net, you can go here (http://www.angelfire.com/comics/ttavatars/), download the one you want, and use the Crop tool (on a photoshop) set it to 75x75 pixels and crop the image, then save it and upload it as your avatar. if you an't download images, you'll have to use the ones on this site (http://wf.toonzone.net/WF/downloads/avatar/Titans/) (check out the episodic avatars too). Hope that helps!

aqualad nodded, to overjoyed that she was gunna be okay to hear anything.

"i saved you," aqualad said walking over to her.

"yes! i want out! i dont want to be near any of you if i might end up hurting you!" her eyes turned black and aqualadembraced her, the few ojects, which had been floating around, dropped immeadietly and her eyes stopped glowing. she cried into aqualad's arms and they both just sat there.:crying:

suddenly.... raven felt just as she did before she left. like she had complete control. was aqualad the answer???

"feel better?" aqualad said, noticing that she had stopped crying, breaking raven's train of thought.

"oh.... ya... i am!" she said smiling, her cloak fading to a light pink color.

"wow..... pink makes you look.... happy," aqualad said smiling.

"well, good, cause i am!" she said standing up, kissing him on the cheek, winking, and running off laughing.

"and it makes her act more like a child," aqualad said as he blushed and touched the spot she had kissed him. thinking, 'i HAVE fallen for her......'

she continued to run around the room until nightwing and aqualad walked in and nightwing grabbed star and aqualad grabbed raven. she laughed as he tickled her. bb looked at cyborg who shrugged and then the screen flickered and showed an older raven. she was cloaked in dark purple.

"hey rave!" she said.

raven ran up to the screen and said, "hey demi!" then she turned to the others who were staring at her questionably, "guys.... this is my sister demona..... but call her demi!:anime:"

"nice to meet all of you, though i will be meeting you in person soon enough. rave, since asrath was destroyed me and delia havent been able to find a place to stay. i know that you told me you guys.... um... had some.... extra room....." demi said looking around her eyes stopping on nightwing.

"you are welcome to come here," he said staring right back at her.

it looked as though demi was about to cry, but the looked at raven, "okay.... we should be there tommorrow." and the transmission was done.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! demi's coming!!!!" raven said as she ran around the room with her arms in the air. nightwing left the room as soon as the transmission was over and starfire stared at the door then looked back to raven who was trying to tackle aqualad. they rolled around and eventually it was night time.

aqualad laid down on the couch, "you dont have to stay there if you dont want to!" raven said winking at aqualad.:evil: he smirked and followed her to her room.

she took off her pink cloak, layed it down and hopped in the bed. aqualad got in and stayed on the opposite side of the bed. he started to drift off but was startled when raven put her arm acroos his waist. she cuddled with him and whispered in his ear before she went to sleep, "good night."

aqualad rolled over and stared at her, thinking, 'maybe she feels the same way i do...... i really need to tell her.... i'll tell her when i wake up....' he closed his eyes. 'or... atleast.....i'll try.....'

CHAPTER 5

"raven? you awake?" aqualad said as raven slowly opened her eyes. she yawned and nodded. "good, cause..... i need to tell you about something....."

raven sat up and stared into his eyes, "is something wrong?"

"no......well..... i guess you could say that... because... i cant control these feelings anymore....."

"what feelings? you know you can trust me aqualad...."

"right.... i know....... well raven.. i think that......"

"you're having a tough time telling me..... hold on," she said this as she put her hands up to his head, "if it will be hard to say, just think it. i'll hear it."

"okay...." aqualad said as he felt raven enter his mind. so, he thought, 'i think im in love with you raven'

raven immeadiately left his mind and stared into his eyes, "is... is that true?"

he nodded as he blushed horribly.

she lifted his head up and looked straight into his eyes. they both started to lean in closer an closer until they were about a centimeter away from eachothers faces. just as they were about to kiss, someone started pounding on the door.

raven sighed angrily on the inside as she went and opened the door. in front of her stood two of her many sisters, demona and delia. delia was cloaked in a very VERY light shade of pink and her hair was the same length as raven's. demona was cloaked the same as from her transmission, only she didnt have her hood up, and her waist lenght hair was down and shining.

"RAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" delia yelled as she jumped up on raven. she was about two years younger, so raven stumbled a little, then stood up, holding delia in her arms.

"i missed you!!!!!!" raven said, spinning around.

"we both missed you rave! so, rave, whats up? and... whos this?" she said pointing to aqualad.

"well.... nothing much is up here, and this is aqualad my-" but she stopped and looked at aqualad, as if for permission.

"her boyfriend," aqualad said, "nice to meet both of you." he extended his hand and they both shook it.

"so...... rave's got a boyfriend huh?" delia said smirking, "well demona had one but he -" delia started, but never finished because demona put a hand over her mouth and gave a warning glare. delia got the picture that demona didnt want to talk about it and shut up.

demona smiled at both of them and said, "she has NO idea what shes talking about. anywayz.... um.....wheres starfire and robin and the others?"

"they should be downstairs...." raven said looking at demona questionably.

"ok... well.. i need to talk to... um... someone...." demona said as she walked off.

'man... she seems upset...........' raven thought as she watched her older sister go down the steps............

CHAPTER 6

raven was sitting with delia and aqualad in her room.

"so sis whats been happenin since we last saw you?" delia says smiling as she started to venture around raven's room.

raven smiled and said, "not much. you?"

delia glanced at the door and said, "well, demona has been really worried about nightwing...... i dont know why..... but she has......"

raven had a flashback of the last time that demona and robin met. robin had been taken over by an evil physic bent on destroying starfire. raven's smile faded away and her robes flashed dark blue...they're normal color... she had learned to trust just like demona had told her....why couldnt she go without meditating? her robes slowly started to go back to blue and she smiled. she'd done it. she wouldnt have to meditate everyday!

aqualad felt that raven was calm and that all her powers were under control....that means that he would have to leave soon. so, he got up and walked out.

delia looked at him then back to raven and said, "you arent going to let him leave now that you can love right??"

raven shook her head and followed him. by the time she caught up with him he was already deep in the water..... and she couldnt swim..... 'goodbye my love......' she thought as one lone tear ran down her face and she went back inside...........

See the first movie, Batman, from 1989. That movie has the extremely talented Jack Nicholson as the Joker, and the best Batman, Michael Keaton. That one is easily the best movie. This, of course, is just my opinion, but take my word for it. The effects might not have been the best, but the plot and acting was top-notch. JACK! JACK! JACK! JACK! He's the man.
