Yes that was our first look at those two series, and it was kind of an akward way of introducing them to the audience. I'm sure the causal viewers of AS are scratching there heads wondering what night "The Hot Purple-Haired Chick Show" is currently airing on the block.

adult swim through the ages was a nice series of cards. i'd have hoped they'd have gone right through 5,000,000 a.d. though.

If they do air, Sunday will probably be down due to the Emmys. (Or was that two weeks ago?)

I think last week's card's ratings said that AS did pretty poorly, so, maybe.

Family Guy did pretty well. It got over 600,000 viewers. I didn't catch the others though.

Saturday - 9/18
363,000 - Futurama
290,000 - Venture Bros.
272,000 - Inuyasha
Ouchies.
Dammit. Just when everyone thought Venture Brothers was down for the count.
What's more disturbing is the fact that Saturday viewership is down, yet again. Sensing a pattern here?

I don't see it being down yet again. Last week's ratings were pretty impressive, almost twice this weeks.

up and down, up and down...
Interestingly, Futurama is by far the most up and down. Inu Yasha was pretty solid until this last report. Wolf's Rain has been up and down, although I think it is still better than the ratings before the move, definitely is on the up weeks.

Anybody have a theory as to why Saturday's ratings dropped like a brick last week? I just don't see how Wolf's Rain went from 400,000 to less then 270,000 over the course of one week. Did the last TV episode suck that bad?

agreed on all points :) are Futurama fans finally tiring? or are they picking and choosing the episodes they want to see now?

Well Family Guy seems to be strong enough even if its ratings vary from week to week. ATHF looks like it is losing it audience, but we can pin that on the show's recent lack of quality. As for Birdman, maybe fans of the show are tuning in thinking that new episodes will be coming up? After all it now Fall and most people associate Fall with premieres.
Saturday's are a very erratic viewership day. These latest ratings fluctuations are nothing more than a confirmation of that fact.

did anyone else notice many shows tonight involved someone mutating or turning into a bug?
Sealab - big head mutants
ATHF - Carl parasite
Brak Show - Dad becomes the Hump
Venture Bros. - cattarpillar
Oblongs - eh, theyre all mutants
Home Movies - Kafka
That is an odd coincidence. Almost a theme night.
On the ratings.. Sunday was pretty good. ATHF finished top 3, and Harvey Birdman had another strong performance.
Saturday.. These are really some fickle ratings. Venture Bros gets into the top 3, but not exactly the way I think anyone hoped. I'm amazed that the season finale of Wolf's Rain didnt' pull in more viewers, after it seemingly jumped in episode 25. Inuyasha falling down like that, strange, hopefully this new interesting story will help that out.

Heheh, the 3am showing of ATHF got screwed up here. No sound, then no picture (replaced by "Cartoon Network" still pic), then some Brak Show but it was 5 minutes too early, so back to the CN still pic, then a bunch of jumbled ads with no sound, then back to the CN still pic again, wash rinse repeat....
Then, when it's the right time for the Brak Show, everything was fine again. Except for those who waited for the 2nd airing of ATHF - those people were screwed. :D

Just my luck they'll never air that ep of Aqua Teens again just like they'll never air X the Exterminator again.
Now I need to make a seperate tape for all the other eps this season too because of stupid ass Spaceatazz.

The first peek but not the first time. That promo has aired weeks before.

It may, though the Emmy's was also down this year, from 17% to way down 12%.

What was that card about a SGC2C guest altering their contract to block the Joshua episode from being released on DVD? I missed most of it.

What was that card about a SGC2C guest altering their contract to block the Joshua episode from being released on DVD? I missed most of it.It basicially talked about the guest on that episode, William "The King of Imagination", altering his contract so that Joshua couldn't be included on the Vol 3 DVD. It then said for him to come to adultswim.com to claim a prize, after he signed a new release.
