I think that when the season boxsets come out next year, they'll probably tout how it'll be uncut without the bleeps and the black boxes.

hahaha, christ, that Masturbation scene was terrible. I thought they were going to cop out and do something like he was opening a bag of chips. That stripper with the heart surgery scar was classic too.

Also, Monarch sounds like Beavis when he jacks off.

lol. Pretty bizarre episode so far. Poor Brock, taking tests for licenses are such a pain. >_<

Censor blocks on the strippers.. LOL.

Hey, who thought Warner Home Video would release LTGC on DVD?

"Hank, once I get my license, I'm allowed to kill you."

"Sorry Brock."

Another good episode.

Well, here's a nice episode of VB, one of the greatest shown on CN--AAAAAGGHHH! OHMYGOD! Semi-naked Dr Venture and blacked-out taint in like. . .6 minutes. ATHF wishes its sorry ass went this far.

Took awhile to get off the blocks, but man, once it did it went into crazy-ass driections it was fun stuff, especially with Brock wrestling with his inability to murder anyone and Dr. Venture's running commentary at the titty bar. "Said she was 19," indeed.

Wow, the Hank/Dean stuff is hatefully nasty this week. The snot-glass almost makes one wish for a urine joke as the lesser of two evils.

OK, your Disturbing Stuff You Can Never Unsee Meter should break somewhere in-between Dr. Venture kissing Dr. Girlfriend and Monarch's uhm. . .reaction.

Wow, this episode would so totally work with the soiundtrack to that "Kafka" musical of Home Movies. And Dr Venture's right--Hank took this whole "turning larval" thing way too well.

Geez, just when I thought this episode couldn't get any more insane, Helper starts crapping test tubes.

Good ep, but it coulda used more Monarch before the break to hold to together a little better because it didn't gel as much as last week's. Also, the "Brock's licence to kill is out of date" probably should have been its own episode, even if the part with him on the shooting range ruled. But there was enough going on to save it totally from the scrapheap. B-

Another great episode. I laughed pretty much consistently through the whole thing. Helper Bot completely screwing up the antidote and holding a shotgun to Dr. Ventures head was great. So was Brocks training regime and test. That ending was a little abrupt, I could have sworn there was like 10 minutes left. Fitting though.

"Hey if it isn't Frankenmullet!"

This episode was more bizarre and disgusting than actually funny, so I really didn't like it much. And Brock's plot was a lot less funny than it could've been.

Though this is probably only the 2nd episode of the series I didn't like a lot, along with the pirate one from a few weeks ago.

That was moderately disturbing, to say the least.

Hey I just realised somthing...no piss jokes

I feel cheated...

this episode was pretty meh, Monarch didn't really give any intentions to why he even had Dr. Girlfriend do what she did...

There was a piss joke:

"I pissed into the eye of God, and he blinked."

I think that should count...

Eh, not as good as the other episodes...but still pretty funny.

Hey, who thought Warner Home Video would release LTGC on DVD?
Looney Tunes don't have lots of swears and human nudity.

Commentaries on several Adult Swim DVDs have had bleeps in them. WBHV is too afraid to do unrated DVDs.

Another great episode. I think doc venture should keep the catipillar look. As for the rest, Brock trying to get his liscense to kill back was funny, and I liked how Helper was in this episode more.

8/10-good episode.:)

Censor blocks on the strippers.. LOL.Yea but what the supervisior said after the test took this episode up a notice.

Supervisior to Brock, "My father was General (I cannot remember the name). You saved his live. He spoke of you as a god. You did NOT disappoint." :D

The masturbation and pooping was pretty bad. The problem was that there was nothing too funny about it, it was what it was. It wasn't a great episode but I was bustin a gut at a lot of the gags, I like Brok's subplot especially the scene at the gun range.

It had its moments. Hank trying to train Brock was one, and other tiny moments which I can't remember at this time, but it was a pretty average episode. Dr. Venture becoming a caterpillar could have been done better, most of his scenes during those parts were disappointingly dull.

I give Midlife Chrysalis a B. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't at the level of hilarity that The Venture Bros. usually is.

Once again, Venture Bros. did not fail to impress me. This show just keeps getting better and better. When Helper crapped test tubes, i fell in the floor. A++++.

Helper crapping test tubes was pretty funny stuff.

It was pretty funny but average.

OK I have to disagree with my chatroom buddies. This episode was pretty funny and consistent with the other episodes in quality. I did not get disgusted at anything, except maybe the drink scenes.

Well I liked it. The Venture Bros. themselves seem to be getting more tolerble and funnier. Average compared to other episodes, but still good.

And it's lack of piss jokes was a godsend.

Wow, this episode would so totally work with the soiundtrack to that "Kafka" musical of Home Movies.Coincidently enough, that very episode of HM is scheduled to air on tonight's AS.

As for this episode, hilarious and disgusting.

Yeah, that basically sums it up.

I don't think it measures up to "Ice Station Impossible," and I still feel that Dr. Venture is really a homosexual, but there were some laughs. I guess I'm supposed to think Dr. Girlfriend is really a girl, or at least a good enough imitation to stand up to relatively close inspection. The lack of pee jokes is a plus, and I'm heartened that they didn't actually show Brock killing the bartender (I prefer to think he just roughed the guy up). Was that stripper with the junk in the trunk voiced by a man?

i also think the va for dr. girlfriend might have had a role on the oblongs as the crossdressing friend of miss oblong, btw.. if so, good career move.

perhaps monarch knows about dr. girlfriend's true gender.. and it's interesting he may have the same problems beavis has with ehm, lovemaking.

i'd imagine this series will be regarded, when the finale or final episode is aired, as a twisted hybrid of south park and johnny quest with all the seexeual content and the violence and the parodies.

and that's not a bad thing.

i'm typing this with a new keyboard, btw. i think the old one had a.. waccident.

It was good but not like last week's. Some jokes were fine but others did not work. I liked Brock's plot more and it was funnier.

The first ep I've remebered to catch in a while and I was disappointed. I was with a friend and I was constantly like "I SWEAR the show's funnier than this!" there were only a few parts that were generally funny.

I did find Helper freaking out, eating the tubes, sprouting legs and pooping them out to be quite hysterical.

If Dr. Girlfriend is anything more than just a very deep-voiced woman I would have expected this particular show to make more allusions to it.

I think this was thus far the weakest episode humor-wise, but still not bad at all. It seems that when the comedy on VB is thin, the storyline still holds up on its own quite nicely. That's an action-comedy done right, I say.

I rather wonder what plan of Monarch's really involved changing his mortal enemy into a creature he percieves as so cunningly deadly.

great really really great! Hank and Dean are getting much better and more airtime as things move along making the shows cast feel much more balanced :) and hey even Helper was there. its been a few weeks since we last saw him! Dr. Ventures wig and fake beard actually made him look not repulsive lol and had a good extra plot too. loved how he said "I gotta see this" about Dr. Venture going out :) and Dr. Girlfriend was a great semi-villian and an unexpected one to. loved it and cheered when they managed to squeeze the Go Team Venture into the last segment

1. Heheh, Brock getting pulled over by AF jets with an expired agent's license was obviously the old police-car-pulling-you-over-with-an-expired-driver's-license routine. :D

2. All the girls in this episode were played by guys. :anime:

3. Heheh, Brock can't get it up.

4. Heheh, the Monarch likes to watch... and more! :o

5. Wow, I remember Kafka and his Metamorphosis. "The Painted Bird" was my freshman English pseudonym. :D

6. Brock in a suit and tie... was just... just....

Loved how Brock described how he would handle a croc/gator, a grizzly bear and an enemy sniper all at once in a sample test question - killing really IS his life.

Dear God make it stop.

It's not that this is a poorly written show, it's written well enough in general. But the subject matter is in such poor taste. Or rather, the low brow humor is done so poorly. I love stuff like Ebichu the Housekeeping Hamster or the webcomic Sexy Losers, for instance. They keep you laughing when the sex jokes come. VB just makes me cringe.
