Kagome and Sango in some yuri action. Other than that, I don't know. To "improve" something you have to add some stuff and take some away. You could take away the drama and add more action, but then it wouldn't be Inuyasha. You could take away the action, but then it wouldn't work for the US audience and we wouldn't be able to see it unless we dished out $30 for a DVD of a boring shoujo anime. (I doubt I used that right. I'm not Karl for christs sake.)

If I had to add anything to it, I would make Kagome bring back a handgun or a shotgun to the past. That would be fun.

If I could change one thing, I would shut Kagome up. Not all the time, just reduce the times she says INUYASHA! Every other word out of her mouth is Inuyasha. He could sneeze and the first thing she would say is his name. It just gets irritating after a while. That is the one thing I would change.

Hmm...I'd probably kill off at least one of the main characters, send Shippo back home (he's USELESS! We have enough commentary!), probably make it so there are no more flashbacks ever again (WE KNOW WHO KIKYO IS!), and add much more pointless nudity.

It's not even that I mind the tween soap opera element. Its that it's the same soap/relationship issues over and over.

But remove that, and you remove one of the main foundations of the series. :shrugs:

I would have had Naraku killed off by episode 60. Granted he is an interesting villian but it's just insane how powerful he becomes as the series progresses. A villian who outwits the hero everytime is just boring, and it weakens the freshness of the series greatly.

This same problem can be applied to a lot of the other plot threads in the series, namely the Kikyo/Inuyasha/Kagome love triangle.

You know, I always thought it would be better if she was trapped in the past somehow. Like a Fushigi Yugi story. It just seems kind of weird that she can go to the present whenever she wants. I mean, I have to assume since the well is always close by that they're travelling in circles around the well and never really going anywhere, yet they somehow keep finding new villages and stuff. It doesn't make much sense to me.

It would be boring always showing them travel back, although they do branch out fairly far and then return because the village near their well is kind of like their home base.

I would kill off Shippo, because he is completely useless.
I would have all the characters fighting, not just Inuyasha.
I would progress the story faster.
I would have had Kikyo stay dead.
I would have Naraku fight more, instead of acting like such a pansy and have others fight for him.
I would stop the damn flashbacks. I don't know how many times during the anime it is explained, '50 years ago, yada...yada. Naraku, blah...blah', it's very annoying having seen almost all the episodes of Inuyasha.

That seems like a lot I would change and it seems like I don't like the show, but I do and that's why I would change so many things. Inuyasha is a good show, but does have faults like any other show.

End the show when Kikyo gave Naraku the Shikon shards after she purposely got captured by Naraku. Honestly, the first 52 episodes were the best and now I wished that they'd stop it there instead of going through all the crappy flashbacks.

Less filler, of coarse. Also I'd like to see the other characters fight instead of sitting on the sidelines making commentaries while poor Inuyasha gets his ass kicked! They all can fight; they should help him out! :mad:

Also, I wish the Mojo Jojo style dialogue would stop. The Shiori episode was nearly unwatchable because of scenes like this:

-Kagome: Inuyasha sypathises with Shiori because she's a half demon, like he is. Inuyasha's mother was a human and his father was a demon.
-Miroku: Yes, and because they're both half demons, they are shunned by the humans in their villages
-Sango: And they are rejected by both demons and humans because of their half demon state. That is why Inuyasha sympathises with Shiori.

3.) Get Kagome to shutup about Naraku got Kikyo and Inuyasha to betray each other. WE GET IT ALREADY!!!

Inuyasha is a good show as it is. Well...at least it WAS. Later on, it gets really repetitive.

Have Inuyasha use the wind scar less. ALOT less. Dude, we know you have infinite use over it but damn ...:sad:

I understand why a lot of people are mentioning filler episodes, but they are a necessity a lot of the time. I would rather have filler story lines in the anime, than have the anime go off in a completely different direction than the manga. I'm not saying I enjoy all the filler episodes, but they don't really hurt the series, IMO.

I would have less mindless babble during fights with Kagome, Miroku, and Sango and actually have them partake in the battles. I know Inu Yasha has his pride about doing everything himself, but it wouldn't hurt to see the other three fighting as well sometimes.

Flashbacks are a minor issue to me and sometimes its important to clue late-comers in on the action, so if I had a choice they would only be scaled back a tad.

Put an end to Naraku and his many incarnations once and for all. And I wouldn't miss Kikyo, either, if she went back to her eternal rest.

I'm curious to see how this Panther Devas storyline plays out, esp. since they're also after Sesshomaru, and he may have to join forces with Inuyasha.
