Girl all over ToneZone say Miguzi should be a "girl's show", while the boy's say it's for both genders. Who's should be right?
Miguzi is a multi-gender block of programming. However, it was created to mainly attrract girl viewers while not losing too many boy viewers. This strategy is working very well.

I'm a 20 year old guy and i can still sit through Totally Spies(mainly for girls, but i like it) and Teen Titans(for both genders and i like it ALOT), and i can watch Code Lyoko if i have to*thankfully that will be replaced with Energon soon enough though* and i like TMNT too so.
Its good if it gets both girls and boys to watch, and it seems to be doing so.

Besides, I think it should only be boys.Well, that's why Toonami was taken off the air. It had too many male viewers, and CN wants more female viewership at that time, so we have Miguzi.
And you should put more thought into that perspective. You're going to need it here.

Miguzi isn't slated for only female viewership. If anything, the block is way more balanced for both sexes. I mean shows such as "Teen Titans" and "Code Lyoko" are really gender neutral in my opinion. The official reason Cartoon Network changed over from Toonami is because they found that Toonami was bringing in a lot of boys during the timeslot, but almost no girls. So far, the schedule seems pretty diverse to me. Besides, I'm not into lables. Watch whatever you like, and ignore the intended demographic.

It's good for it to stay gender neutral. Girls cartoons and Boys cartoons used to get along in the days of GI-Joe, My Little Pony, Rainbow Bright, Care Bears, Transformers and Ninja Turtles. Why shouldn't they now? But like CookieS said if you like it, watch it regulardless of who it was meant for.
Miguzi was made because Nick and Disney were spanking CN 5-7PM when it came to girls ratings and CN needed girls as well as boys.
If anything, it'd be Toonami for the guys and Miguzi for the gals.

When I first joined the site I posted a thread for the same thing. I was called a sexist. But is it all female? Now I'm just using the stats. CN would use, I'm not saying a boy or girl can't enjoy one not targeted for them:
Totally Spies: Girls, but viewable by boys
Code LYOKO: Multi-Genderal, but leaning towards girls
TMNT: Boys, but viewable by girls
Teen Titans: Multi-Genderal, leaning more towards boys
Transformers Energon: Boys, but viewable by girls
I'll come back to this later...

Same thing with age. I'm gonna be watching cartoons for a long, long time.
...but Miguzi should try for both genders. 100% of the audience :p

You can compare Miguzi to Fox News. Just because it's balanced doesn't mean it's conserevitive. I would be interested however to see a girls action block. Totally Spies, Penelope Pitstop, Atomic Betty, and Powerpuff Girls could work. Miguzi, though, should just be airing shows on quality.

I think Miguzi should encourage boys but definetely lean towards girls and why not? I have been enjoying boys shows since like always so why could boys not do the same for girlish shows as long as the quality is there :confused: besides you'd think boys would rather see cute butt-kicking girls then super muscle guys :p

If that was the case then Toonami should still be on weekdays as well as Miguzi with Totally Spies, PPG, Code Lyoko and what not on Miguzi and Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragonball GT, Rave Master, and Teen Titans on Toonami.

You have to remember Rabi... Some guys aren't comfortable with watching "girls" shows. I'd say far less girls have a problem with watching shonens then guys have a problem with watching shoujo's.

IMO, Miguzi is a block that really lacks purpose in it's block-format. The shows being there a fine and I'm a heavy advicator of packaging shows properly... but Miguzi might be a bit more tollerable to some if they it was just shows without a block.
It doesn't have to be a block to be a group of shows worth watching. Generic bumpers would suffice. They don't have special intros anyway.

I'm a dude and I don't mind Miguzi as it is (much... I think it would benefit from airing Rave Master or X-Men: Evolution though... or even Static Shock since well they have it and it suits Miguzi better than pre-Adult Swim time). It's got Ninja Turtles, that makes me content. I really want Toonami on weekdays again though. But in prime time. It fits the block well, so why not run with it? CN seems to be a little touchy about their daytime anime airings (except for Pokemon and YGO, and now I suppose Transformers).

Same here, exept I have a girlfriend, but not without a price. Give it time, and when you have 'er in you house, fall asleep. They think it's sexy. Chicks just can't find good shows.:anime:
