I think everyone knows that
the final four episodes don't give the series closure.
So what do you want to see done with Samurai Jack now?
Make some sort of movie?
Start a new series?
Start a daily strip in the paper?
Give him a bottle of warm milk and his favorite blanky?

You know what, I would like to see it finalize, either by new episodes or a movie. I just want some closure to the series; if they are not to continue it because of ratings.

P.S. I think I'll go with......... "Start a new Series."
A theater movie. It would answer all the damn questions that the final four didn't.

One more season would be nice, as would some sort of movie, either for thearical release or direct-to-video.
I thought about the series continuing as a comic strip. In fact, I can visualize a Samurai Jack comic strip in the New York Daily News. But it's just been in my imagination. It's about time we had another adventure comic strip. 'Annie' ain't exactly cutting the mustard, and there's a new guy drawing Prince Valiant.

they ought to just show even a hour long episode showing aku getting his.. and whether jack goes back or not.. doesn't matter. as long as aku is felled in some conclusive ending.
maybe it wouldn't take as long to properly end jack as it did alf , properly.. it was years before alf's last movie was released after the series ended.

Considering the series is done, I can't forsee anything being made to wrap things up. I would like just a longer episode to tie up loose ends. I mean Jack is on this quest and the final outcome never resolved. What an insult to the fans of the show.

I'd love to see a movie wrap things up, but I think CN is done with theatres after the PPG movie.
A 90-minute TV finale seems the most logical approach.

Does it matter if CN loose a bit of money, as long as SJ is resovled
I would personally like a blown out 2 hr Samurai Jack animatied movie to finish it of. I think the storyline would be something like jack disovering where aku is but he cant get to him due to there being to many strong robots, I think he should then rally up his friends (the scotsman, extor e.t.c) to help him get past the robots so he can get to Aku. This storyline is hinted by the episode "the Aku infection"
I think it might be resovled in a video game, SJ: the Shadow of Aku sold quite well in the UK, so mabye Sega (the Publisher), Adrailiean Games (devolper) and geddy tartvosky should band together to make a game finale.
I really hope will do see jack come home

Does it matter if CN loose a bit of money, as long as SJ is resovled.Money is everything in business, and there are no second chances. So yes.

I think a straight to DVD release would make everyone happy: Genndy, the network, and most importantly the fans.
But I think we can all agree, that so long as it's conlcuded, and concluded well, we'll be content

Well yeah. I heard the PPG movie bombed, even if it was good.
Let's just to a CN TV movie. Shorter, but can be good enough to answer all our questions.

I personality would love to see another season and a animated theatrical movie.
But if I had to choose just one... I'd go with movie.
But neither one is coming true, so...

How should it end? A movie released straight to DVD and aired on CN would be best. But, I would like another season.:p

I'd love to see a theatrical movie, but considering how the PPG movie bombed I'll settle for a made for TV movie.

"What's the best way to put Jack to bed"
If you turn me into a cartoon character and put me to bed with him.
And that, boys and girls, was my risque joke of the day.
Anyway, the real answer is that I want the series to end the way it began: with a 90-minute Cartoon Network-made movie (either shown on CN or put out on video and DVD).

Make it into a Cartoon Network movie, like what they did with Batman Beyond.

Well first you have to get him drunk... this isn't easy but try to play up the "all your loved ones are dead" angle.. this usually softens him up for you to buy him a round or two.. and from there...

Man this was a Loaded Question.. so here's a Loaded Answer...
First off Give him a Glass of Warm Milk, and maybe a few chocolate Chip Cookies..
Then of course Read him a bedtime story, and turn out the light once he falls asleep.. Then Have Aku Come in and Slaughter his hiney...
(Actually a 120 minute TV Movie (another 4 episodes) would end it all Please and Thank you...) where Jack Does Kill Aku, (this is set of course long into Jack's Current Future where he is older..(See the References in the actual show) and he realizes... he can't go home again... period.. because when he killed Aku, He killed all the magic in the world.. enough said, end of story, fade to black..)

I would like to see atleast a DTV, to resolve it. A Threatical movie might flop and it might be bad for CN, a special on CN or DTV would be a great way to end it.

Two years ago when Toonami was in the afternoon time slot (4:00-7:00 p.m. eastern). On fridays afternoons, they would run animated movies. One Friday, they ran the movie "Batman Beyond: The Return Of The Joker". Oh, my bad. CN didn't make it. It a video and DVD release that CN run a month or so later (Like what they do with the recent Scooby-Doo movies). So sorry.

Either a movie that gives a sutible conclusion to the series or possibly another season to sort of wrap up Jack's story and give Aku what he's had coming to him since the start.

I want to see another made for TV movie or a 2nd season. Again, it will depend of how well Samurai Jack & Star Wars: Clone Wars does this weekend during Toonami.
So to all how are Reading This Thread.....WATCH TOONAMI THIS SATURDAY FROM 6PM-11PM. "Use The Force Jack! Only Toonami!" :tom:

Since it's costing us nothing, I don't see why we should ask for anything less then a full blown animated theatrical release.
I want it, you want it, I think Genndy wants it.
When you're watching tomorrow imagine yourself at your favorite theater immersed in those exquisitely beautiful scenes as Aku towers over you 30 feet high only to be cut own by samurai steel.
I don't think the idea of a Samurai Jack movie is completely out of the question.
As far as the story goes Jack has one vary clearcut goal, and I for one would love to see him get the win.
As I understand, much of the production team that worked on Jack was available to do Clone Wars.
The huge problem of course is that even though SJ got all the accolades, it must not have gotten much of an audience.
And another problem occurs to me, what if Genndy wants to leave Jack as a lone warrior forever on a hopeless quest? Let's hope not. Even if he wants to go with the theme that you can never rid the world of evil, there is no reason you cant teach it who's the man. (In this case the man would probably be Jack.)
But nothing will happen unless Genndy Tartakovsky is willing to fight for it and get on that script himself.
I say go for it!
This just in..
from an interview with Mr. Tartakovsky published by the Chicago Sun-Times (http://www.suntimes.com/output/television/wkp-news-jack24.html) September 24
Q. You're leaving Jack stranded like Gilligan on the isle?
A. For now. I definitely want to finish the story. I'd like to do a full-length movie if they let me.
And for people taking the question the other way.
Well first you have to get him drunk... this isn't easy but try to play up the "all your loved ones are dead" angle.. this usually softens him up for you to buy him a round or two.. and from there...
I don't think you'll get him to drink anything but tea.
You could try slipping him roofies, but why you'd want to do that I don't want to know!
