Who else here has played Gex:Enter The Gecko? I used to have that game but now it is lost. I had it for Playstation, not N64. It was quite fun. Some of Gex's quotes were funny and I loved that Samurai Night Fever level. I'm getting a new one for Christmas.

I'm like the biggest Gex fan. I used to have 800+ Gex quotes on my old website (which has since vanished, unfortunately), and I own Enter the Gecko and Deep Cover Gecko for PS1. Out of those two, I prefer DCG more, because of its recurring musical theme in every stage and the levels are more varied. But ETG wasn't half bad, either.

I love how Dana Gould's voice fits the Gex character, and there were plenty of pop culture references in both the one-liners and stage backgrounds. Might as well list your favorite Gex lines while you're here. Mine is: (in a raspy, old woman voice) "You don't get your pudding if you don't eat your meat!!!" I don't know what that references, but it was hilarious.

I've played all three games and they rock, they're also freakin' funny,go to half.com,they should have some cheap Gex games there,I have played the N64 version and for some reason Gex sounds different and the intro movie was cut out.

Even though I love this series, I'll admit that it's far from perfect. The two biggest problems with the Gex series (atleast the 3D ones) are a bad camera system and slowdown. The slowdown was more prevalent in Gex 3, but that was because the environments were more detailed. Just play the Mob level to see MASSIVE slowdown at work.

The movies and the voices are different in the N64 version because of the limitations of cartridge instead of CD.

I have the PC version of Enter the Gecko.

The movies and the voices are different in the N64 version because of the limitations of cartridge instead of CD. The only advantage I can think of for the N64 version of Enter the Gecko is that extra stage not found in the PS1 version. It's apparently an underwater level of some sort. But I always found Gex's swimming controls to be horrid (part of it is, once again, the fault of the camera that sticks too close to his backside), so hopefully I'm not missing much.
