A Johnny Bravo movie?

A couple of months ago, I heard from T.V. Guide's Insider, that they are making a live-action Johnny Bravo movie. Has anyone else heard about this, and if so, what have you heard? Just curious.

I really haven't heard a thing since then. Either they're really secretive about it, or it was dropped. However, since you say it was on TV Guide a few months ago, myabe something is getting worked on.

Edit: After googling, it looks like writing was about to be worked on in October 2003, hoping for a release date in 2005. It seems to be about Johnny finding his long-lost father.

Last I heard, The Rock was really interested in it because he's a big Johnny Bravo fan. Not sure if a live-action film would work. They'd probably reduce his hair to a normal style. :(

The Rock will actually play the role of Johnny, should this movie go on with production.
