Inspired by Hyper Sensai's Toonami thread which shows do you see/want to come to Miguzi. Please explain why and why not.

Name: Astro Boy
Distributer: Sony
Possibility: Fair
Why: Light apeal, fun show, familiar (to some) character.
Why Not: Lack of faith on Toonami and Kids' WB.

Name: The Batman
Distributer: WB
Possibility: Good
Why: Wonderful interpretation of the Dark Knight.
Why Not: Toonami has first dibs.

Name: Ultimate Muscle
Distributer: 4Kids Entertainment
Possibility: Good
Why: Not on the Fox Box anymore. Action-comedic appeal.
Why Not: No one is looking into it.

Name: SD Gundam
Distributer: Bandai
Possibility: Pretty Good
Why: Correct demographic and delivers great ratings.
Why Not: One of the most hated shows that was on CN.

Name: Hong Kong Phooey
Distributer: Hanna-Barberra (WB)
Possibility: Very Slim
Why: Fun, fun show. Would work very well. No planned DVD releases (to my knowing) so there is a demand (somewhat)l.
Why Not: Turner won't air classics, because they want demand for Boomerang. Won't even consider it.

Astroboy bombed and is all but dead to CN but then again so where Energon and Kenshin, The Batman will probably get once a week reruns first but then it'd be fine for Miguzi, Ultimate Muscle may never see the light of day again but it'd be fine (not a killer app though), and Honk Kong Phooey? Who are you kidding? CN will never play something that old on Miguzi reguardless of the quality.

SD Gundam is definentilly a possibility.

From the Fox Box roster Sonic X, Shaman King, Winx Club (and depending on how they do) Tokyo Mew Mew and One Piece will most likely all get spots eventually (not all at once though). Kirby is a bit of a toss up but if CN got it then it'd probably be on Miguzi.

Rave Master and Duel Masters are tailored to be BIG kids properties and though they are on Toonami now them may not be forever (not that it matters either way).

Jackie Chan might get a run on Miguzi when the series is done on KWB (with no chance of a weekday run) and X-Men: Evo may finish it's CN run on Miguzi.

Miguzi doesn't look to be changing much... well ever. Totally Spies and Teen Titans are locked in as the book ends of the block and they aren't going anywhere. Code Lyoko is leaving soon and I'm guessing TMNT is far behind (at least until CN gets another episode order).

Nothings a sure thing when it comes to CN these days and its acutally quite difficult to figure out which shows they'd want to have on Miguzi.

Anyway here's mine...

Prince of Tennis
Distributor: None so far
Expected: Fall of 2005
Possibility: Fair
Why:
It's a quality shonen that may interest a lot of people if they give it a shot (no pun intended). The characters a likable and it has some good pacing.
Why Not:
Very much Fox Box material but maybe no distributor would want a show about tennis. Afterall Viz doesn't even have the manga in the monthly Shonen Jump (just graphic novels coming every 3 months).

The Batman very well may end up on Miguzi. Hong Kong Phooey, Astro Boy, and Ultimate Muscle are shows that would work beautifully, but CN isn't that smart.

Sonic X and Kirby seem like a lock. Shaman King and Winx Club aren't my first choices, but I can see that. I need to check Mew Mew and One Piece, but I can see that as well. Maybe Cubix.

Rave Master and Duel Masters are tailored to be BIG kids properties and though they are on Toonami now them may not be forever (not that it matters either way).

Rave Master and Duel Masters would work.

Jackie Chan might get a run on Miguzi when the series is done on KWB (with no chance of a weekday run) and X-Men: Evo may finish it's CN run on Miguzi.

Jackie Chan I don't think so ,but maybe. But XME doesn't work on Miguzi. Then again as long as it's airing... Static Shock and Xiolin Showdown seem to be in line to get on as well.

Miguzi doesn't look to be changing much... well ever. Totally Spies and Teen Titans are locked in as the book ends of the block and they aren't going anywhere. Code Lyoko is leaving soon and I'm guessing TMNT is far behind (at least until CN gets another episode order).

Miguzi will change. Marathons and Energon are a sign of that. CN will want TT and TS to stay on until they fail. I can see CL and TMNT going on and off, depending how fast new episodes of that.

Nothings a sure thing when it comes to CN these days and its acutally quite difficult to figure out which shows they'd want to have on Miguzi.

True dat, and thanks for not getting mad at me for using your idea for #3.

Name: Batman: The Animated Series
Distributer: Warner Bros.
Possibility: Low
Why: It would add a classic character as well as an awesome show on Miguzi's line-up.
Why Not: May be too dark for Miguzi.

Name: Men In Black: The Series
Distributer: Warner Bros.
Possibility: Fair
Why: The MIB movies are really popular with the tween set and the action seems to fit the block.
Why Not: Nickelodeon might have bought exclusive rights to air it.

Name: MEGAS XLR
Distributer: Warner Bros.
Possibility: Low
Why: Its only aired twice a week and once it gets more episodes, this might not do it justice.
Why Not: Not enough episodes.

Name: The Powerpuff Girls
Distributer: Warner Bros.
Possibility: High
Why: Appeals really well to the Totally Spies audience.
Why Not: CN airs way too much of it.

Name: Zoids
Distributer: Unsure
Possibility: High
Why: Miguzi needs an action show with an ongoing story and lovable characters.
Why Not: CN hasn't aired Zoids in ahwhile.

I'd love to see Batman and Megas on there, but just doesn't fit the age group. Neither CN nor Nick show any interest in MiB. PPG and Zoids could work.

Not Megas. Megas is Toonami material. No freaking miguzi spot for it.

All I want to see is One Piece on there. And not the ****ed up version that 4kids made.
