So I'm not sure how many of you have heard, but Whooping Cough (http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/whooping.htm) is spreading up here in NoDak and Western Minnesota and its now hit my college which is depressing because it means I'm probably going to get it.
Anyhow, generally its not dangerous to adults if you get it treated so I'm not too worried but what really bothers me is that I know of people who have it or almost certainly do, and who DON'T CARE. They continue to go out to parties, weddings, etc. without taking medication at all! Even when their friends or roomates ask them to they have refused! How is it supposed to go away if people keep doing this?
