I wish I could write up a long post with lots of prestigious and complex words only made better through an equally as smart sentence structure....but Prestigious is probably the best word I'll be able to come up with.
You were always better at that then...well...everyone else...so I won't steal your thunder. ;)
Happy Birthday Man.
Shave your beard and get a job you hippie.

Ouch! A bite of flesh is ripped from the people, licked down to the human bone. Malevolent cries of the beast rise and ascend once again. This time the beast prowls beyond that of his fellow being. What a surprise.....the Conspiricy Theory pokes it's agitating head up once again. This beast is special though. This beast has recognition the newly developed beats back in it's pack envied. Nails swiping away organs with ease. Drinking the blood through a straw made of the villager's own bone marrow. This beast dashes without hesitation from one village to the next. Laying down it's once a year carnage. Enjoying the conspiricy while it lasts....

It's been pleasing to be wished well by my compatriots, regardless of the detachment caused by our method of interaction. It is something I will miss.
I have decided to end my time as an active participant here at Toon Zone. This has no relation to anything that has happened in any thread or some terrible struggle in my personal life. It is no spite borne departure borne of rash emotion and sadly you cannot expect to see me in a week. It is instead something that has been planned for some time.. A modest while back I resolved to end my time here upon my birthday, I am a creature of arbitrary dates you know. I had hoped to have two thousand posts by this point, but one thousand seven hundred and seventy six is good enough for a history lover and old-fashioned patriot, which is how I most ideally would style myself. Indeed, it would have been a silent withdrawal, but I thought this thread would provide an appropriate forum for announcing the cause of my soon to be sudden disappearance.
My reason for leaving is not an impressive one. Rather, it is born out of the pragmatism that I have tended to scoff at. Quite simply, I have allowed this to become a distraction and while it has not been any terrific burden that might sway the back of Hercules or one that has been a great detriment, it is one that I think wisest to cast off, though I shall in many ways miss it. Indeed this is part of a larger withdrawal from participation in the queerly addictive, at lest to my damnably well suited personality type, internet. With this I will have ceased regular posting in all but a private forum that those who have tolerated my incessant eccentricity longest and me share and one (http://www.spinnoff.com/zbb/) that serves my peculiar linguistic interests too well to abandon. I may even pete out bits of what is ostensibly comedy writing (http://www.vikinghats.com/). It is a petty that I've let it fall to this, but I regard life to be at its best when there are choices of at least modest difficulty to make, and here I have made the less pleasant but most prudent decision.
Lucky Bob, I find I owe you a debt of gratitude for providing a productive sparring partner in debate and an occasional good laugh. You have given me much reason to pause and reconsider, for which I am inexplicably thankful. I can only hope that in my absence others will rise to keep your conservative mind active.
SSJPabs, you're a liberal wiener, if I might borrow a phrase from that infamous flash video, and bless you for it. It's as good of a fight as any that you've chosen and so long as you do battle under the auspices of wisdom and prudence, it'll be ever more worthwhile.
EinBebop, I never did convince you to stop reading that Coulter trash, but I'll always be willing to ship some matches out to California if you change you mind or sympathies. Better yet, I'll pay to have them shipped here; Albany gets potently cold in the winter. You were always just a bit unpredictable EinBebop, and I admire that. And I'm really sorry that I kept thinking that you were a woman for some reason.
Artemis Gigan, what did they drop on your head when you were young? For me it was a camera.
Landstander, you appreciation, or perhaps your fanaticism, for Home Movies alone would win my praise. But you also have a respectable wit and surprising prudence in your duties. Do continue to vigorously keep those unruly malcontents in line.
Strawberry Jam, you're a contumelious bastard, and I thank you for it.
Zmanjz, I salute you as one of the more level headed and persuasive voices of gun control I've ever encountered and a devilishly capable debater. I don't think I ever came anywhere near getting the rhetorical better of you. I salute you as a decent human being and as a fellow Pennsylvanian.
Matt Wilson, you'll never read this, but I cannot go without loosing some praises upon you. I have met few with your tenacity or fortitude of opinion, and I have found those qualities enviously praiseworthy. You are also possessed of considerable knowledge of animation and a fine wit, both appropriate to this place and your less-inconsistent-than-you-may-think efforts toward episodic animated comedy.
Tienshin, I don't entirely know what to say about you. It was our talks in #adultswm that really formed the core of whatever history there is between us, provided that's not too intimate a phrasing. I don't think you knew what to make of me then, and I'm not sure that you do now, but I have always enjoyed your presence all the same.
SJJ, I have been caught in odd admiration of you ever since your remarkable stint as Marvin the Paranoid Android on April Fool's Day. That you have proved a thinker of impressive intellectual propensities and generally an even-keeled individual is but a lagniappe.
LordDalek, you should probably watch out for stairs, season twenty five excepted.
Randomguy, I have found you measured presence and good humor most welcome. We really must share that drink some day, although I think I'll still have to stick to root beer (well, I prefer birch beer, but that's tricky to find outside of Pennsylvania). And if you ever do get a hat for Ike, he most frequently preferred a nice, gentlemanly Homburg (http://www.spinnoff.com/zbb/).
And to those to whom I did not issue direct salutations, understand that there is no spite in my. They are merely casualties of a faulty memory and barmy head.
I may check in anonymously to investigate any happenings or insights that might be inscrutable to the outside world, but available in lucidity here or perhaps as an act of whimsy. My time, however, of frequent or vigorous engagement of the members of this community is at an end. And I swear that when I started writing this it was still the twentieth annual day celebrating my surprising success at avoiding death for a further year.
So, let it be said that I left of my own free will and for no other reason than resisting the consequences of my own weakness with no ill will borne.
Good bye and thank you.

Happy belated birthday and a tear-filled farewell, Deltharye. I enjoyed your contributions to TZ (even though your choice of vocabulary forced me to read some of your posts several times before I full understood exactly what the hell you we saying [in a good way of course]). You shall be missed.

Definitely a shame to see ya go. I think you're an excellent writer and I've always enjoyed reading your opinons on a variety of subjects. I've always thought you could write professionally if you wanted to, as your posts have been a lot more intelligent than plenty of published works (for the record, yes, this ass kissing does sicken me as well).
Have a good life, Del.

"We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when,
but I know we'll meet again some sunny day!
Keep smiling through, just like you always do,
'till the blue skies drive the dark clouds far away!
So, will you please say hello to the folks that I know?
Tell them I won't be long!
They'll be happy to know that as you saw me go,
I was singin' this song:
We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when,
but I know we'll meet again some sunny day!
So, will you please say hello to the folks that I know?
Tell them I won't be long!
They'll be happy to know that as you saw me go . . .
I was singin' this song:
We'll meet again, don't know where, don't know when,
but I know we'll meet again some sunny day!
We'll meet again, we'll meet again . . ."
