View Full Version : So who's the voice of Cartoon Network?

We've all noticed that there's a young girl as the announcer in many of the newer Cartoon Network bumpers. She sounds familiar, but I can't place her. I'm also suspecting that she's the same girl who voices Erin of Miguzi, but I'm not sure.

Any idea who the voice is?

There have been a few rumors as to who it is, but only a few people know for sure.

I don't know either, but she seems really upbeat lately, from the sound of some of the newer "Right now, you're watching _________, up next, it's _________. This is Cartoon Network!" commercials.

I very much doubt it's Erin (Who I'm pretty sure is Stacie Chan, AKA Jade from Jackie Chan Adventures), but I've heard some people thinking that it's Tara Strong (Bubbles, Raven, Timmy Turner, a lot of other stuff). I'm willing to go with her or Grey DeLisle.

It might be Tara Strong. I know that she does Raven from Teen Titans and Spot from 101 Dalmations:The Series. But the whole thing remains a mystery.

It's not Grey DeLisle. I've heard her talk before in real voice, and it sounds nothing like that... and none of her characters sound remotely like that either.

I do support the idea of it being Tara Strong, however.

Whoever it is, I'm gonna go to CN studios with a stapler and staple her mouth. I can't stand that new announcer.

At least I can stand listening to it now, before when she first started, it was HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Well, I know for sure it's the same person doing Erin's voice. Hey, it could be Tara Strong.

Well, for one thing, CN hasn't told us yet. Keep guessing.

Sounds like Britney from Totally Spies. A Lot.

Otherwise, I hate that voice... she always seems down. You need someone who's exciting. Besides last years very old-man voice.. who announced everything.

I'm thinking of calling cartoon network and send a complaint
about the new voice

I guess you're right but still I'll call cartoon network to find out who the announcer is

You really think that would work?

Probably not.

Anyway, I like the voice (whomever it is).

You know who that voice sounds like?!?! The Erin Girl from Mugizi! It totally sounds like her. Every voice actor can make at least 2 different voices.. a childish voice and an adult type-voice.

Yeah, and they're pretty good at it. They probably even get chances to do more than one voice on their star show. Reference to Charlie Adler on Cow and Chicken. He did the three main characters' voices (Cow, Chicken, and the Red Guy).

Her name is Nikki, and she's 16. I won't give her last name, of course. She isn't the voice of Erin from Miguzi, and you wouldn't have heard her doing anything else unless you live around the Atlanta metro area, but I'll give you a hint: she doesn't work exclusively for Turner. Hope this quells some curiosities (and rumors).

16 And she's a Voice Over? Lucky... I guess.
