Whats a day in your school like? Simple question. What are your teachers like, what are your classes, friends, and events that make the time there more enjoyable.

I'll post some fun events later, because my friends and I have shared many.
Also, i'll need more time to describe my teachers completely.

Right now, I'll describe my classes.

I'm an 8th grader. I'm a member of 8A (the highest class in the 8th grade)
My classes are the following

1st.Drama with Mr. Turner
2nd.Practical Living/Health with Mrs. Chaffins
3rd.Practical Living/Health with Mrs. chaffins
4th.Language Arts with Mrs. Webb
5th.Math with Mrs. Moore
6th.Math with Mrs. Moore
7th.Art with Ms. Dyer

8 Lunch!!!!:) :) :)

Whats a day in your school like? Simple question. What are your teachers like, what are your classes, friends, and events that make the time there more enjoyable.Well, I'm a junior in high school. My schedule looks like this:

Pd. 1: I don't have a class here as I value my sleep.
Pd. 2: German 4. I like this class, mostly because I like my teacher and German is pretty easy for me.
Pd. 3: Academic Reading. I like this class as well. Right now we're doing vocab lessons where you learn at your own pace, and speed reading. I like this class cause it makes me feel really smart:p (Second semester it'll be Humanities II, which will study Asian arts and stuff, so should be fun).
Pd. 4: AP US History. My favorite class. I have some friends in this class and it's interesting. I like the teacher and it's not as hard as European History.
Lunch: This is A Lunch. I have some friends in this lunch and we hang out, so that's cool. I switch to B lunch at semester which is after 5th pd. not 4th.
Pd. 5: Humanities I. I like this class as well. I have a friend in it and it's just an arts appreciation class. It's kinda interesting. (This will be English 3 second semester. Fun fun).
Pd. 6: College Prep Math. Also known as Precalc. I have some friends in this class so that helps, but it's kinda hard, and we're only reviewing from last year:o
Pd. 7: AP Chemistry. I have a close friend in this class and I guess it's alright, but it's hard for me.
Pd. 8: AP Chem Lab, sort of. We had chem lab/study hall 7th period but got it switched so people could get out early. I have to do some funky stuff to work it out, too:mad: But anyway, Monday and Wednesday we have lab 7th and 8th. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday we have a free period so we usually go to the library to do homework in the comfy chairs:D

I also play softball and that takes up a fair amount of my time and energy. Right now I'm having issues with my father over car insurance, which is dictating whether I can drive to school or not. I have a parking permit, but no insurance. So I get a ride from a friend in the morning, but she had volleyball after school so I have to ride the bus in the afternoon. And it sucks. But when softball starts I'm demanding the right to drive to school:p

4th year in a collegiate system. i'd say my status, but i'm not quite sure  i think i'm at the "junior" level

mondays:
8:30-9:20: personal health and wellness with professor jones
...hate this class with a passion. professor jones was assigned to us at the last minute and his every other word is "you know" or "uh-hmm". plus, he's very vague. we'd all sit down for class and he'd say something like "ok. take out the paper i asked you to write" and we all look at each other in disbelief

1:30-2:20: walking for wellness with professor aiken-kush
...like this class. all we do is go in to class, listen to a five minute presentation (mine's due this monday  ) and then she tells us to go walking for the rest of the hour. we all just go to our dorm rooms and watch tv or something

2:30-3:20: intermediate accounting I with professor bayerkohler
...so far this class is alright. we have our first e'bomb (exam) this coming wednesday. supposedly it's the hardest accounting class there is

tuesdays:
9:00-10:15: cost accounting I with professor douglas
...going good. we're learning about managerial accounting processes. me and my buddies sit in the front row and laugh at all the stupid stuff professor douglas does. "oh! a new eraser! look at that! hmm!"

10:30-11:15: macroeconomics with professor sweetland
...going well. pretty boring...but going well

3:00-4:15: business law I
...me no likey

wednesdays:
8:30-9:20: personal health and wellness...again

2:30-3:20: intermediate accounting I...again

thursdays:
see tuesday

fridays:
2:30-3:20: intermediate accounting I...again again

My school has ABCDEF Days, and classes on particular days will be noted.

Period 1: English 10R with Mrs. Ritter
Period 2: Adapted PE with Mr. Simonson (ACE Days), Biology Lab with Mrs. Jeffrey (BF Days), or Stude Hall with Mrs. Narcavage (D Days)
Period 3: Biology with Mrs. Jeffrey
Period 4/5: Latin III with Mrs. Nilsestuen
Period 6/7: Basic Video Production with Ms. Bailey
Period 8: LUNCH!
Period 9/10: Global History 10R with Mr. McElroy (had him in ninth grade too! Hes quite an awesome teacher)
Period 11: Math with Mrs. Fried
Period 12: Stude Hall with Mrs. Kirsch (ACE Days), or Health I with Mrs. Trapani (BDF)

As you can see, there are "mixed" periods to accomodate the lunch pds. 4,6,8,10. Also, there floors A B C D in the school, but I don't list them in my schedule just because it would be WAY too confusing. I go from D Floor to B Floor 2-3 times in one day, and try to do it in five minutes and with people being a**es in the hallway! It gets real frustrating, but what are you going to do?

Now to describe the teachers.

Mr. Turner is a cool guy. He's a movie buff, loves all types of music, is an actor/director, and plays M:TG. However, he seems gay (no offense to anyone who may be homosexual on the board) and that isn't genrally accepted in our county.

Mrs. Chaffins is the nicest person i know. She always has a nice story to tell us and she is a well-educated teacher. She doesn't really have any bad points, but sometmes expects too much from us.

Mrs. Webb is 10 times better at LA than she is at S.S. she is very nice and for a woman pushing fifty, she is fine. I swear she looks under thirty. Her daughters are even hotter. :D :D :D Too bad they're married.

Mrs. Moore is an awesome math teacher who will help anybody. She does have a bad temper though.

Ms. dyer is a good art teacher, but, and I'm sorry to say this, nobody takes her class seriously. It might as well be a free period. she's also dating our seventh grade science teacher, Mr. Delong.

I'll have events later.

I haven't been in school for a long time, but I certainly remember a lot of the good things that happened (there were bad things too, of course, but why dwell on that?):

- I thoroughly enjoyed the three years of Art class I did (they were electives, but I would never pass them up!).
- I enjoyed conversations around the drinking fountains, joking around and drinking root beer.
- I liked "Mos Eisley," which was what we dubbed a certain hallway that, at the end, contained the furnace room. When it came on, it sounded like a big spaceship was starting up, and I guess since we were a weird bunch of kids, we decided to dub the place Mos Eisley.
- There were also a lot of teachers I liked. At my first high school (population: around 300. Second high school for grade 12: around 1,000), the biggest classes I had consisted of less than 20 students (my grade 11 Chemistry class had 7!). The low number of students meant that you could get a lot more attention from the teachers. It made all of us feel more comfortable, and we could actually view some of our teachers as buddies!
- Oh, and after having missed many days throughout grades 1-9 due to ear aches or flu, I went through grades 10-12 without missing a single day! As soon as I left my first school, my health increased dramatically. I guess it wasn't that clean in comparison or something. Once I stated noticing I wasn't sick anymore, I kinda made it a mission to not miss a day. I won! :p

heh...

I wake up @ 5:45am, leave around 6:30am to walk to the train station. Get into school at 7:45am, suffer, get out at 2:15pm arrive home @ 3:40pm, do homework, die a little bit, play some games and post here (my sweet release), then pass out anywhere from 10:00pm to 11:00pm. Rinse, repeat 5 days a week.
