It's nicely made conspiratorial fun, but if I were to side with Snopes (http://www.snopes.com/) on this issue (http://www.snopes.com/rumors/pentagon.htm), and I will, I'd say it's pretty well false.

But it is a really well done flash movie.

But what do I know about flash movie quality standards.

I'm not kidding, I have no standard for judging them.

That article though does not directly address all the questions posed, or even the actual video itself is seems. There are more that were left unanswered.

If this was some kind of hoax, it would have been a pretty pointless one. Most people hardly remember that the Pentagon was attacked. If this was some kind of eloborate plan by "The Government," I think they would have realized that the WTC would have been more than enough to devestate the public.

There not suggesting it was a hoax, they're suggesting that it could have been other things....more embarassing to the government that a hijacked plane. More that someone planted a bomb. How embarassing would it be if someone waltzed right up to the pentagon dropped off the bomb and then strolled away? Someone mentions that smell of cordite. Which I distinctly remember was mentioned other personal accounts afterwards.


Or that someone has access to a missle of some sort... Etc.

I mean did anyone see what happened when the planes hit the WTC? they didn't bounce off or anything, they went into the building and detonated. same with the pentagon.

Then they make some lies up about notfinding plane wreckage?!?!?

That's not a mistruth, that is an outright lie.

you know what. I'm against perpetuating something as absurd and misleading as this. Not only is is disrespectful to everyone that died on the plane, it is disrespectful to those that died in the pentagon.

Not only did the plane fly into a hardened facility at Maximum power, it erupted into a ball of fire hot enough to melt steel... Note: The Aluminum planes are made out of generally melts well before steel.


So in addition to being shattered into nothingness, it then exploded, was piled under rubble, and melted to slag.

I mean I've talked to first responders to this. (One of my law professors was a reservist that was called into the pentagon two days later when it was still smoldering.)

I only skimmed the Snopes article, I just assumed that's what they were suggesting. I guess this goes to show what they say about assuming. :shrug:

Still, I do think it's a pretty ridiculous assertion. The government may do some pretty shady things, but this seems to be a bit too implausible to me.
