I'd watch more of Boomerang if I could. Unfortunately, it only comes in a digital cable package from my cable company, which would cost me about an arm and a leg each month to have, and since there are only three our four channels in that package I am seriously interested in, it's not worth it. But I do believe it's still around. If anything happened it it, it would be news to me!

Yeah, it's still around. Some of the members of the TTTP could give you more info on it. Jon Cooke has given reports on the programming, so I know he has it, as well as probably a few others over there.
I think they just put out a lot of ads for Boomerang when it came out to make sure that people were aware of it and that there was some support for it. Now it's not as profitable to advertise because it's just very limited in its distribution thru cable packages and extra ads won't do much.
It's been slowly growin' and hopefully will eventually get to be popular enough to be on most regular cable packages. The Boomerang program can still be seen on CN on Sat. morning from 6-8 AM. Sealab 2020 (the original one, not to be confused with 2021) is on this Sat. at 7:30. I really wish that I had this. I even like watching some of the really corny HB stuff sometimes like Superfriends. And I would really love to see those old Fantastic Four cartoons.

Early this year my dad resubscribed to DirecTV and got Boomerang, but he didn't resubscribe to Cartoon Network!
Then later we got both. Now, I have Cartoon Network but no Boomerang.
Trust me, as much as I like Snooper and Blabber, Pixie and Dixie, and Top Cat with minimal commercials and no Scooby, if I had to pick between CN and Boomerang, I would go with CN.
It's not bad having both though.

I only get to see Boomerang at various times when I go to work, and it seems like everytime I turn it on, they are doing a Jonny Quest marathon of some sort. I like Jonny Quest....but they seem to show him as much as CN shows Scooby!

I wouldn't mind having Boomerang in my cable lineup. (Particularly my digital satelite.) There are times where i feel nostalgic for some old school Hanna-Barbera cartoons. I do check out the 2 hour Boomerang program Cartoon Network airs on Saturdays. It'd be nice if they had a block of stuff from the 1980's. Just for the hell of it.
