It looks offically set, it has been announced that "I'm Popeye" will finally(after weeks of delays) premiere this latE Sun/Early Mon. at 1am right after "ADULT SWIM" GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

Why can't it be on a little earlier? Also, why the delay?

If ratings merit, then Cartoon Network will move it to a better timeslot. I'm not sure of why it was delayed though.

Oh, according to Jerry Beck, it's not "I'm Popeye" anymore... it's just "The Popeye Show."

Rumor is that the delay was because they wanted to make a disclaimer. This is the disclaimer that you now see before the shows on Adult Swim. Some of the early Popeyes had some very unPC stuff.

www.cartoonresearch.com has also reported that, beginning Dec. 3, we will see 2 episodes every night.
