The one I remember most was the Batman and Robin one where it they were swearing. I think there was another one involving the Wonder Twins. Were there other ones?

These were pre-B&W Cards. Is there a story behind these shorts or is it something they thought it was fun to do?

I don't remember the Batman & Robin short your'e talking about. There was a few Wonder Twins shorts, (which you mentioned) 4 Aquaman Dance Party's and Capt. Linger. There are also a few more that you can download at ASF.:)

I do remember some of them. I do remember the jetson one, the Batman one, and the one with Wilma calling Fred a certain word for only men to called them.

I loved those. I like the B&W cards, definitely better than the "Caution" cards but I wish they hadn't stopped doing the shorts. Wonder Twins, Not For Air, What they're really thinking, Watering Hole and I may be in a big minority here but I liked the HB baby cartoons too.

I remember those. They'd take certain scenes from 'Challenge in the Superfriends' and put little bleeps in the conversation to make it sound like they're swearing. Like this scene when Batman and Robin are trapped in ancient Rome and they bleeped out the word 'framing':

Batman: Grodd did a masterful job of f-----g us.

Yeah I remember, it'll be cool to see some of the old ones and new ones.

I was lucky enough to get that Batman & Robin Get (Framed) by Grodd Not-For-Air segment when I went to record an ep of Trigun. That was my fav, next to Scooby Doo complaining about being ******g freezing. I never cared for the "What Is [insertname] Thinking" or Watering Hole. Captain Linger was okay, and Aquaman shakin' it was probably the most animated thing they ever did. But the Not-For-Air segments were pure genius. Hanna-Barberra characters swearing? Comedy gold! And of course, I'm always up for a good laugh at the Wonder Twins' expense.

How about the updated "A TWENTY!" short? It ran in AS's first year, it featured the characters from the theater segment where Wonder Woman and Birdman talk about getting popcorn while annoying the guy in front of them. This time, they were on an airplane doing pretty much the same sketch, but instead of popcorn, they talked about "thick paperback books."

I loved the Batman and Robin one.

"Holy ***** **** ****** Batman!"

That was awesome!

I loved the Wonder Twins one with the gopher moat. Pure comedy gold.

I swear, if Adult Swim ever needed help selling, say, Brak Show DVD's or something, all they'd have to do is slap these shorts on the DVD as an extra and I'd buy it.

They were alright. A nice break from the actual shows, but not much more.

I'm sure I have nearly 2-3 of the ones discussed here on tape. One day I swear I'll just get off my lazy ass and send Tyler all my tapes from Toonami '99 on up. I was a heavy Sailor Moon fan back in the day. It's what got me into anime. (....Errg, another rhyme)

God, I loved those little shorts, especially the ones with Batman & Robin :anime: They were so friggin' hilarious, I wish they'd make more. My brother and dad said, though, that those 2 may have been the only 2 scenes that were good for bleeping.

I remember those too. They were pretty good. I liked the Jetsons one especially. :D Luckily I still have some of those shorts on tape when I used to record some of the anime shows.
