Is it just me, or is Cartoon Network airing those commercials where you call in to order a product too much?
I don't even think they're getting much money to air them, or are they?

Plenty of things for years. I don't know if there's a list.

There have been a lot. These commercials get on my nerve because you must be 18 or older to call, they are long and boring, for something I don't want, and are always $19.99. What suprises me is how Cartoon Network still advertises the Ionic Breeze even though it doesn't actually work very well. Something I've noticed is how they never have the call in commercials on Toonami or at least the Toonami on weekdays or on Adult Swim.
There have been plenty of Time Life CD commercials during both Toonami and Adult Swim.

One word: TurnerShop.com.
Or is that three words?

it's not the time-life CD commercials that bother me (as much as I DESPISE Celine Dion) as much as those creepy "male enhancement drug" commercials on adult swim, it's bad enough being insulted for liking anime, do they have to take shots at the size of my manhood as well? (P.S. I've YET to hear any complaints)

Here is the deal. Cartoon Network is owned by Turner Broadcasting. Turner has developed a new online program for its advertisers, called TurnerShop.com, which will host a website for the advertiser's product. This allows for cutting in-house costs for the advertisers, and lets Turner have more control over the products being sold. The number they use for this is probably universal, I think.

this probably pales in comparison to the call-in commercials they aired during the 90s. Can you say, "Lots and Lots of Trains"?

Can you say, "Lots and Lots of Trains"?I was just about to bring that up. And no, I can't stand that "Ultimate Love Songs Collection" commercial. At least they've dumbed down the number of times that it airs.

I hated it since teh first time I saw it!! Oh my god!! I can remember the words:eek: !! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
I really haven't noticed an abundance of these types of commercials, then the few occasional ones.
They don't really bug me, makes sense with turnershop, and I'm actually seen a few that have piqued my interest before.. I think it was one of those music ones, I'm pretty sure of that.

I hate that 'Male Inhansment' thing too. (I dont think I've seen it on CN yet, though) For one thing, they make the people in the commercial that take the pills look INSANE. Its almost like the pill sends a shock up your spine that makes you wear a permenant smile. Every time I see the scene where he opens the door to his giddy wife I think he'll slam the door, kick her to the ground and axe murder her out of insanity.

The Enzyme commecials are funny. I just hate the fact that they're only showing the same two back to back. The other ones were funnier like the bowling alley. :p
