Pft. The New Fridays is the best Fridays format there is. I don't know how anyone could think CCF was better.

When I'm talking about Fridays, I don't just mean the hosts. The shows were better then too. They had Sheep in the Big City! Sheep even hosted once! It wasn't always the same thing. They changed it a few times. They had one night where Edd was hosting and Johnny Bravo kept making fun of him. He eventually had I. R. Baboon chase Johnny all over the set. Besides, the only good show they have now is Johnny, the Eds, and Duck Dodgers, and he's on at 12:30!
Thats a poor excuse.
And Overplaying of Scooby-Doo!?!?! It's on once a day excluding Whats New Scooby.

If it wasn't for the fact that the direction, writing, timing, characters, music, clips, and skits used in CN Fridays are in an entirely different universe than U Pick, you'd be right. When was the last time you really watched Fridays?
If you want to compare it to something, compare it to Cartoon freaking Planet. Surely you remember that, right? You know that Andy Merrill wrote on both Cartoon Planet and CN Fridays, right?

That's no excuse. We're talking about packaging, not programming.

Oh yeah, I remember that, when they changed it. ONCE. AFTER TWO YEARS OF NO CHANGES.
Sorry, but I prefer having new content every week instead of seeing season 1 Edd say "H..Hi, I'm Edd, but you can call me Double D.." 20 times a year.
Besides, the only good show they have now is Johnny, the Eds, and Duck Dodgers, and he's on at 12:30!
That's extremely debatable. Johnny Bravo sucks, Duck Dodgers is not very good, and you're overlooking the fantastic Billy & Mandy.

Maybe he's talking about when it was overplayed, like a year or two ago. It's a lot better then it was now. Although as evidenced by having it have a Camp Cartoon Spot, it's still one of the most used shows on the network, along with Ed Edd n Eddy, Kids Next Door and The Grim Adventures of Billy And Mandy.

Still, it's Camp Cartoon spot or anything like Last Bell spot won't last when the block changes. But its not overplayed right now, so don't consider that something terrible.

The writing direction, the art direction, the boarding, the backgrounds, the voice acting, the poses, the composition, the timing..

The writing direction, the art direction, the boarding, the backgrounds, the voice acting, the poses, the composition, the timing..I can't appreciate the technical aspects as well as Mr. Wilson can (animation isn't my particular magic realm or mystery, I went with linguistics for some reason), but the show's writing it good. It certainly seems to have improved of the earlier seasons, during which I avoided the show (the rather undwhelming Evil Con Carne may have colored this).
Whatever happened to Fridays Bad Clay Fables? Those were pretty funny... but I don't think I've seen one for quite some time now.

Well, I defienitly like the new Cartoon Network's Fridays the best! It's something new every night. What are Tommy and Nzinga gonna say? What crazy things are they gonna do? This makes me watch Fridays. I like it even though it's not targeted for my age group. I noticed Wiggle Chicken is gone too. He was cute, made my younger brother buy a rubber chicken just like it at the store a few months ago. I miss Sheep in the Big City too. It was really funny, but that was the only reason for me too watch on Friday back then. It was so boring and repetative with the same few people with hosting duties. I know what it feels like to have something you like change. Not fun. At least we got new episodes of Code Name Kids Next Door and other shows all summer long!
Does anyone know if any of Cartoon Networks Fridays is live. Like when the hosts talk to us during the comercials?
