Hey everybody! Jake Stringer, heir of the mighty Jeff and Susan Stringer of the Masquerade Empire! ( jus' kiddin' :p They are my parents, though :anime: ) Dragon Con is coming up on Labor Day Weekend (Just 49 days to go!), and I just wanna know who else will be attending. Now that I'm 13, my parents decided I'll be able to go and have fun now, so this'll be my first year going. I'm really syched cuz we're gonna have this AWESOME stage performance, but I don't know it they'd want me leaking information and spoiling it, so I'll just keep my mouth shut =X I assure you it'll be quite entertaining, though :D Anyway, there's gonna be a bunch of famous people there, but I only recognise one of them  Dr. Demento! Everyone else, I'm not old or worldy enough to know  But I'm gonna try and get him to sign my Dr. Demento Christmas CD, and maybe have him tell me about what it was like working with "Weird Al" Yankovic and whatnot. Maybe I can come up with a good enough sympothy story for him to get me concert and plane tickets to catch one of the upcoming Poodle Hat Tour performances because Al hasn't come anywhere near Chattanooga :D Hehe, just kidding. *sigh* I would love to see Al in concert, though

Well, just wanted to know who else might be coming this year, and whatcha plan on doing. I'd love to possibly run into people I might know :)

Isn't anyone else on Toon Zone attending? I didn't post this in the wrong forum, did I? :(

Maybe you could enlighten some of us. Not for me of course. I asked my 8 ball already.

Oh, sorry. For those of you who don't know, Dragon Con is one of the worlds biggest science fiction/fantasy/gaming/etc. conventions in the world, and this year takes place in Atlanta for four days during Labor Day Weekend. That's pretty much all I can think to say for those of you who don't know about Dragon Con  Just go to www.dragoncon.com (http://www.dragoncon.com) for more info.

I try to go whenever I can, I haven't been the last 2 years though. It's near me, only a 2 1/2 hour from here to Atlanta. They always have a good selection of guests and it's a good time. I'm gonna try and make it over there this year.
