Hurricane V1

Some people get stuck in boring ruts for years. My friends, mostly my cousins, and I used to go to work/school, come home, play video games for a while and then head to Walmart for a few hours before going home and sleeping.
Thank the good Lord we finally broke that habit about six months ago and now are pretty active. We live about twenty minutes away from Pittsburg so we can always go into town pretty easy and be back before it's too late.
We've been going to karoke bars, bowling lanes and certain clubs for a while now. I don't particularly like clubs, even though it's a lot easier to meet potential dates there, the atmosphere gives off a feeling that everyone is too shallow. I'd much rather get to talk to a girl at a bar or something.
Karoke was intimidating at first but if you find a small enough bar and just go up there and bear it, it becomes really fun. My cousin and I argued for over four hours over who should sing first before our buddy just took our slips and handed them to the DJ at random, I was second, yay! Technically, I didn't turn 21 until four months after we starting going to these bars but I was never carded. But since I went to play darts, sing and drink coke there's no problem right? My only problem is the bar we like the most (for location, cost and size reasons) has the least selection of songs. We're always choosing songs never sung before at that establishment since most everyone else sings country, folk rock, other light rock, some pop and some Latin songs. My big three are "It's My Life" by Bon Jovi, "Basket Case" by Green Day and "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister. The DJ actually seems to like me, sometimes he gets up and sings with me on "We're Not Gonna Take It". I just hope no rowdy bargoers ever take my singing of songs about fights as a challenge for a real brawl.
So anyway, what's your real Saturdays, or any afternoon for that matter, like and what would your dream hang out be? I'm pretty happy with what I got right now. It really beats the video games and Walmart trips.
