Well, it's finally official. Cartoon Network ordered 13 episodes of my new show "Camp Lazlo" on May 19, 2004. It is slated to air sometime in July of 2005. I'm putting together an amazing crew, with some Rocko and Spongebob Alumni. Tom Kenny ( Heffer, Spongebob) is a lead voice, along with Carlos Alazracqui ( Rocko, Reno 911). I lucked out and snagged Mark O'Hare ( Rocko, Citizen Dog, SpongeBob, Shrek) as my co-producer. I'll keep you posted as things progress. Many thanks to all who supported the birth of this show, mainly the folks at Cartoon Network; Linda Simensky, Bob Higgens, Andrea Lopez , Jim Samples, Khaki, Jay, Jeff. Thanks Thanks! Thanks!
Joe Murray is the creator of Rocko's Modern Life, for people who don't know.

I had no idea, literally. What is this? Can I expect it to be good?

I don't want to say "this is going to be good" at such an early point...but really, this is going to be good.

This is some good news. Glad to hear it's official now.

Still a year away, but hopefully it's worth the wait.

Alright..why did I not remember the production of this or know? With you three saying it's gonna be good then I guess I can expect it to be good and above my level of intelligence.

No one knows if it will be good. They're just projecting their hopes. Anyway, I found this article (http://www.tigerweekly.com/article1510.html) on Carlos Alazraqui, where he talks about his part on Reno 911, and mentions another title he's working on for Cartoon Network....

While Carlos continues to work on Reno 911!, he also has several cartoons coming up. “I’m working on two cartoons – Camp Lazlo and Juniper Lee,” said Carlos. “They will be on the Cartoon Network and are pretty funny.”
What's Juniper Lee?

I wasn't being serious and yay...another unknown title to haunt my interest.

Awesome news! While we still won't know if it ends up being any good until it airs, if there was ever a series CN should just go ahead and take a chance on, this is it!

Hell ya! This is awesome. I shouldn't make assumptions on the show just because its Joe Murray who's doing this, and without even knowing any further information, but... this is going to be a good!

Don't know if "Camp Lazlo" will be any good or not, but I have hopes that it will succeed. It's Joe Murray's first cartoon since "Rocko's Modern Life." Of course I will see it next year.:D:cool:

I thught I heard somthing about this here or on AI or somewhere on the internet. Well it's good that it's offical. Guy who made Rocko, loved that show so this should be good.

What's Juniper Lee?Is it that the new show slated to premiere in the fall about some girl hero, it was mentioned in the upfront.

Edit-found it The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, from Judd Winnick, which features the adventures of an 11-year-old girl whose family has been born with the secret responsibility of fighting the forces of mischief and chaos.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh............who's Joe Murray?
Creator of Rocko's Modern Life, one of the most well liked Nicktoons created. Which also gave away for another incredibley popular Nicktoon, Spongebob Squarepants (most of the staff on RML worked on SBSP). About a Wallabee named Rocko who moved to O-Town from Austraila. PM me if you want more information.

Exicted about Joe Murray doing a series for CN. Should be good, although Landstander's right about not judging it before it comes out. So does anyone know any other details on "Camp Lazio"?

If the crew of Rocko and Spongebob are working on it, I'm sure it'll be another great show. Definitely something I'm looking forward to.

Oh, yeah, I remember that show. Actually, I think I still have that Nickelodeon magazine where they interviewed him. He said he based Heffer off of one of his friends who'd always eat these bologna sandwiches and drink out of this glass mayonnaise jar filled with water, and he'd always offer you some water, but there's be pieces of bologna in it...that was a pretty gross story.

Actually, now I'm thinking about all the memories of Rocko I used to have. I remember the best line in the entire show. Heffer went to this fast food place where he ordered this huge sausage thing, well actually, he order two, and the guy at the counter said "There aren't enough pigs in the country, sir."
