Vindicated by Dashboard Confessional. Sweet sweet memories...of June 30th. I can relate to that song, it's a pretty darn good song IMHO. Vindicated, I am selfish I am wrong, I am right, I swear I'm right, swear I knew it all along, and I am flawed, but I am cleaning up so well, I see something in me now you swore you saw yourself, like hope, dangles on a string, like slow spinning redemption... That was fun!

"Lets Get It Started" by the Black Eyed Peas. Not so much by choice, but more so because I've got it stuck in my head to the point that it's driving me crazy (not that I hate the song or anything. It's good, and I like BEP anyway).I'm also listening to "Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand, "Float On" by Modest Mouse (thus furthering drippynmeatwad's theory) and "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional. All great songs, might I add.

Sadly, many of the songs you guys are mentioning, I have no idea about them. I don't listen to any modern music. I am a big fan of stuff from the late 50s to the late 80s. Anyhoo, another song I'm hooked on now is "Somethin' Stupid" by Frank and Nancy Sinatra.

"Avril Lagvine worship?" I have just lost all respect for you. :) Seriously though, the song "Fall To Pieces" from her new album isn't bad... but that's only because of Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace. Due to his influence as co-songwriter/producer, the song sounds like an Our Lady Peace song with Avril singing.

Andy Mancini, I find Avril Lavigne very attractive for 1 reason: A girl I dated on and off and really loved for about 5 years looks EXACTLY like her. So it stirs up old memories, and in fact the girl is now my best platonic friend. Although I do enjoy several of Avril's less popular songs like Naked, Hallelujah and Ordinary.

Tensions in our lives that are destroying our minds
Unite themselves together to make our conciousness blind
Conditioned to self-interest with emotions locked away,
If that's what they call normal then I'd rather be insane

For about the last two weeks or so, I've been blasting this song called "99 Lives" by some Canadian group called The Pettit Project. I love this song. It's a must-hear for '80s NES fans. Unfortunately, the rest of their debut album is pretty lame, but this song really rocks!!
Also love Kelly Clarkson's new song "Breakaway" and Christy Romano's "Let's Bounce," both from the PRINCESS DIARIES 2 soundtrack.

Did you know: Avril Lavigne actually wrote Breakaway for Clarkson. I wonder how it would sound if Avril sang it?

Well, I can't stop listening to the Enema of the State CD by Blink-182 lately. But Dysentery Gary is repeating in head over and over!
"He's a player, diarrhea giver
Tried to grow his hair out, friends were listening to Slayer
I'd like to find him Friday night
Hanging out with mom, trying on his father's ties
Life just sucks, I lost the one
I'm giving up, she found someone
There's plenty more
Girls are such a drag" . . .
