Now it's a good thing that the Boy Scouts want to raise money, and I understand this particular group's serious need, but this is ridiculous. Who on earth is going to pay that much money for lemonade?
Just read this (http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/West/07/03/pricey.lemonade.ap/index.html) and you'll see what the deal is.
I bet they aren't going to lose any money in the lawsuit; it looks like something that they did not do on purpose. But right now they're (along with the radio guy mentioned) making themselves look like morons.

And if it's a REALLY destructive REALLY stupid act, you can be hit with gross negligence and that means lots and lots of money in damages. $14 million I think.

Don't the boyscouts discriminate against homosexuals? Why would anyone want to support an organization that discriminates? Also, why would anyone want to be in the boyscouts unless they were gay? I mean, an all male group sitting around in short shorts. It's fine if that's your thing, but it sure as hell isn't mine.

They also discriminate against atheists. I was just watching it on ABC news one morning. It's kinda sad when you dedicate 20 years of your life to something, and then they kick you out cause you have a crush on your fellow scouts. The whole raising money with lemonade thing is stupid. If you think about it, wouldn't they make MORE money if they lowered down the cost? Game, set, and match, this definitely proved my theory from when I was in elementary school...
GIRL SCOUTS ARE BETTER THAN BOY SCOUTS! :p
you don't see the girl scouts burning down forests and selling lemonade for outrageous prices. they should just try to sell cookies. :D

Every private club discriminates in some way or another. That's the point of a private club! Only college guys can join fraternities; only college girls can join sororities. Only smart people can join MENSA; only female models can become Playmates. Since they're a private club, why can't they select who they let join and when? We're not talking about government jobs here. It's still a free country, you know! Why aren't you complaining that there aren't girls in the Boy Scouts too? Oh wait, they have their own private scouting club... For that matter, where are the complainers that there aren't any boys in the Girl Scouts? So... why don't we do this? Gay athiests can create their own private scouting club! Then they can do whatever they want, and the Boy Scouts can do whatever they want. Everyone wins. :D
