Cream Soda and flavored water (the non-carbonated kind).

Depends on mood.
Water is the most convenient.
Vanilla Coke is the best soda, and as such is the best tasting convenience drink.
Milk is viciously addictive, as well as hot cocoa.
Coffee, tea, and fruit smoothies (particularly the latter) are fantastic when in the mood.
Shakes are spectacular but too inconvenient for regular drinking.
I don't usually drink plain juice, but apple cider and grape juice are great when in the mood and peach juice owns all.

Well, water is my absolute favorite, though it does get kinda old. My favorite soda is Vanilla Coke. I also love iced chai tea when I'm in mood. Smoothies are also a favorite. And of course, growing up in the south, I love sweet ice tea. Crystal Light is always good (I'm actually drinking some right now). But water is the tops for me.

Right now my favorite's iced tea when eating out. Coke was my favorite during my college years. When treating myself at home I like ginger ale or Hanson's Black Cherry soda.
My favorite drink is lemonade. I can't get enough of that drink.

I'm sorry, maybe it's just my tainted perception, but when I walk into a thread titled "Favorite Drink", I expect alcohol. On that note, it's hard to beat a good margarita.
But of the list... probably soda, with water in a very close second. Soda is delicous but woefully unhealthy, so I'm cutting back on it. Coffee's good, but I don't make a habit of it, mainly cause I can't understand how anybody could drink it in warm months. Which, in Texas, is about 10/12 of the year.

When I stop at gas stations to pick up a drink, I buy an Arizona Ice Tea. or one of their other fine beverages.
When I go to a restaurant, I get Rasberry or Peach flavored Ice Tea.
When I get food at Sbarro's in the mall, I buy their bottled Ice Tea.
When I make myself a drink at home, I make Ice Tea.
I think we all see where this is going.

I keep a 5-litre bottle of water next to my bed. Quite useful and big enough to last for a week or two.
If I'm really thirsty then you can't beat cold water.
Otherwise ...
Coffee
Rubicon mango soda
Vanilla Coke
Pepsi Max
Iced Tea (its hard to get anything but Liptons around here in lemon, peach or mango but they're all good)
Hot Chocolate
Tizer
Bing
Milkshake
blah blah blah...
[edited after reading Jag's post below] Ohhh how could I forget a chocolate malt? Those things are paradise in a glass :D

In order (unlike any other list of mine)
Vanilla Coke
Plain ol' Coke
Cherry Coke
Sprite Remix
Coffee (preferably french vanilla)
Milk. Any kind of milk.
Water (I try to drink enough to equal out the soda)
Hot Chocolate
Chocolate malts from Sonic.
Iced Tea (great with chicken! :D)
Lemonade
Cream Soda
Homemade fruit smoothies

diet sodas. Just about any kind. So long as it's sweet (but sweetened with something other than sugar) and carbonated, it's my fix. In a restaurant, it's diet coke (or pepsi) with grenadine.

Water! You can't beat it, it's 2/3 of you!

I enjoy the following:
Fruit Smoothies
Lemonade
Black Cherry Soda
Hot Chocolate
Human Blood
Water
7-Up
Root Beer
Milk Shakes
Human Blood
I want you to know that I'm in awe of the way you slipped that in there sooo casually. :D :p
Add gingertastic Canada Dry to my list

I went with soda, particularly Coke, but why did you include Sprite in another category? Sprite is a brand of soda.
Anyway, some of my runner-ups would be:
Iced Tea
Coffee
Beer
Wine
Hot Chocolate
Latte

Well, my favorite drink all around would have to be Orange Juice. I love the stuff. I go through a gallon a week, and that's with restraint.
I love water too, I drink about a gallon a day.
I don't drink soda much any more, it's bad form for fat men whose family has a history of diabetes to indulge in it too much, but when I do, it go for Root Beer (or Birch Beer, if I can get it). I don't like Colas at all, but I do and always shall have a great weakness for Root Beer. Stewarts, straight from the bottle, especially.
And I hate alcoholic beverages, just for the record.

oh man, it used to be Coke. But I've developed some kind of weird allergy to caffine, so no more coke for me. :(
So, lately my favourite drink has been Limonata, lemon pop.

it's between Snapple ice tea and cherry cola:)
So..I'll vote...something..
Dark Soul
07-03-2004, 03:20 PM
Yeah Snapple is good thats why I voted ice tea. Well also I like coffee but only the frozen type. I mean hot coffee I have to put in a lot of sugar so it tastes right. Coke has been a favorite of mine especially vanilla. Sprite, 7UP good. Water I drink sometimes. But ice tea is favorite out of all.

One of my favorites too. I love how it tastes like and it doesn't burn your throat either like coke does. I am usually able to finish a can of that in less than a minute.

My favorite drink would have to be either Sprite or Cherry Coke/Cherry Pepsi. I also seem to be getting a strong liking for orange soda.

There's entirely too little alcohol on this forum. We should all get drunk and rip off a ten-speed.

Well the reason why I did not put 7UP is because 7UP and Sprite are kind of the same thing even though I like 7UP better then Sprite

True, but here's a question for the ages: which came first? I imagine the original has the right to be the definitive Lemon/Lime soda.

I tell you, I could drink iced tea by the gallon! Just about any flavor is great, but leave out the lemon, please!
Also, dark roast coffee is great! But only fresh, not like 7-11 where it's been sitting on the warmer for hours and hours...As if coffee doesn't taste bitter enough on it's own!!
If coffee's not around: Monster energy drink is the one!! I used to drink Red Bull and Rockstar energy drinks, but Monster tastes alot better.
I know if given the choice, most people would avoid water, but if you drink the right kind (the right brand) it can be really delicious. I know Arrowhead is great for some, but I don't like it. Evian either. I don't care if it's city water so long as it's purified (actually, with this ongoing environmental resource problem, it won't be long before those prissy, bottled-water-only-from-a-pristine-mountain-stream types won't have a choice left BUT to drink city water). My dad owns a purified water vending store, and I can't help but say: he's got some of the best tasting water around.
Cactus Cooler....not the soda, I actually MAKE my own....I brew a mix of fruits with cactus pears and real cactus leaves. It tastes fabulous!!:D
I try to avoid soda when I can, because I can only drink sugar-free...and diet soda for the most part stinks. Pepsi One is surprisingly packed with cola flavor, and it's SUGAR-FREE!! It's the closest thing you can get to actual Pepsi with no sugar... If only Coke came up with something like that....I know there's Tab, but man! That saccharine aftertaste really hits you!!

Soda is my favorite type of drink. Here's my list of favorite sodas:
First Vanilla Coke; second Cherry Coke; third Coke; fourth Sprite; fifth Grape Soda; Sixth Orange Soda; Seventh Pepsi; Eighth Pepsi Twist; Ninth Sierra Mist; tenth Pepsi Vanilla; eleventh Mountain Dew; and last but not least Mountain Dew: Code Red.
I also like non-sodas like Gatorade and water but I like soda all the way.

Well, if we're talking alcoholic drinks my favorites are the Irish Carbomb and the Mongolian Mother****er. So good, and they get you sooo ****ed up.
As for regular beverages, I like Cherry Cola, but I try to stay away from too much caffeine and it's hard to find a brand without caffeine. Usually a bargain brand is your best bet. As for rare drinks, there's this Indian restaurant in my city that sells Mango Milkshakes, man, that has to be the best tasting thing in the world.

Interestingly enough, I prefer Pepsi Vanillla over Vanilla Coke--Vanilla Coke has a strong taste that reminds me of Coca-Cola plus Cream Soda overdone. http://webpages.charter.net/connectingzone/disagree/28.gif
However, I do prefer homemade iced tea using Lipton tea bags. :)
They can still be occasionally found as oddities in big cities, small town antique type towns, etc........Well I loved and still do, Rootbeer Milkshakes, made at the fountain, and, one of the fountain jerks they were called, (yes, fountain jerks, you can see them in Back to the Future, Part I) was a friend, and still is, and that is where I tasted my first vanilla coke, in l958. great, but haven't tried the new stuff yet....Stuart:D

I love soda fountains. I in fact have one in the city I live in. What's great is that they make the sodas fresh with carbonated water and the flavoring right in front of you. There's also the ice cream that they add for some of them.

I love "clear" sodas, such as Sprite, 7-Up, Mountain Dew [Code Red as well], and Sierra Mist. I also like the specialty drink known as a Shirley Temple, which is bascially a Mountain Dew Code Red which is named after a precious child star...

I just found a new favorite! Its called Ultimate Milkshake Slammers or something like that. Its better than the bottled Nesquick milkshakes as it has a different variety of flavors....not to mention actual nutritional value *lol*
They have Marvel comic characters all over the cover. Hulk, CapAm, Spiderman & Daredevil. Theyre supposed to actually be good for you with the added vitamins and nutrients and what not.....but Im sure what ever speck of vitamins they drop in gets offset by the huge amounts of sugar/food color they use....Oh well. If the guise works well enough for mom to approve, then its good enough for me *lol* :anime:
